Stayed during moving house, very cute and charming guesthouse, a proper oldschool guesthouse, would love to stay during winter as it's so cozy, unfortunately was there during heatwave. But enough fans provided and a lovely garden. Good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Lovely lounge area, decorated for entertainment and eclectic unique pieces and pictures.

Nur eine kurze Übernachtung so hat wirklich keine Ausstattung genutzt. Frühstück war gut, das Essen war zu voll, so musste in den Konferenzraum gehen, die wirklich hätte richtig gestaltet werden und nicht überall aufgegebenen Stuhl. Auch in diesem Raum hätten Schnecken und Gewürze gehabt werden sollen. Insgesamt würde es wieder dort bleiben

Lovely hotel and great location however the room was disappointing for the price, one of the armchairs was badly damaged and the other brown stains on the material. Sections of wallpaper were peeling off which gave it a very tired appearance. The iron board was also broke and we had to prop it up on a chair. The room we booked looked nothing like the images on the advertisement and I had to check with reception we had the correct room. For £330 a night I don’t feel we had a premium room, the staff however were lovely and very welcoming.

Stayed here last night, everything was perfect. Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for one night. The hotel is close to the city so just an uber ride away. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we opted for the breakfast the next day which was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

Friendly reception staff. Great location. Room good size and modern bathroom but not the cleanest, hair on dress cushions, hair in shower tray, lots of dust in room. Expected a bit better from here.

Cozy hotel with a small but comfortable room. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. Facilities are basic—the wardrobe space is tiny, and the snacks are pretty simple. Great if you care more about a warm atmosphere and helpful service, but not ideal if you need more complete facilities.

As a big fan of Premier Inns I felt this one wasn't up to their usual standard. Beds always very comfortable but the bedding wasnt adequate, slightly ill-fitting. Also the room was cold and the air con set to high did not work. The TV also did not work in our room, aerial connection was cited aa the reason on-screen. On a lesser and more personal note, i like the scrambled eggs option in the morning but only fried eggs were offered at breakfast.

Als ich den Pool benutzte, war es praktisch leer. Ich liebe es, dass es bis 9:00 Uhr geöffnet war, da es bedeutete, dass ich nach einem langen Tag aus schwimmen konnte. Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Nur unten ist die Dusche war nicht groß, es gab nicht viel Kraft und das Wasser war zu heiß. Kann mit einem Luftkon oder sogar ein Fan gemacht werden, als es in der Nacht ziemlich heiß wurde. Andernfalls war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt

Insgesamt eine angenehme Erfahrung.  Aus reinen Blickwinkeln war es ziemlich gut, aber es gab ziemlich wenige Spider-Webs in den Decken und unter Radiatoren, die wahrscheinlich schon eine Weile da gewesen waren.  Das Frühstück war aber gut, als einige unserer Party 10 Minuten vor dem Ende des Services kamen, gab es keine Glass für Saft und keine Schüssel für Obst/Getreide zu verwenden. Bitte schätzen Sie es nahe am Ende der Zeitrahmen, aber das Frühstück war noch offen. Auch wenn Sie Kaffee mögen, dann würde ich den Kaffee, den Sie am Frühstück serviert haben, vermeiden.
