Eine der besten Lage in Barcelona. Es ist das Zentrum von vielen touristischen Spots und es gibt viele Restaurants, Cafés, Geschäfte in der Nähe des Hotels. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Der Poolbereich war auch sehr entspannt und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, vor allem ein Mann in der Bar.

Die Lage war perfekt, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und in fußläufiger Entfernung zu vielen Touristenattraktionen. Der Innenraum war sehr sauber und die Annehmlichkeiten wurden täglich aufgefüllt. Ich denke, es war ein wirklich schönes Hotel, abgesehen von der Tatsache, dass die Wände etwas dünn waren und ich laute Stimmen aus anderen Zimmern hören konnte. Was mich überraschte, war, dass an der Decke so etwas wie ein Duftspray hing, was mir das starke Gefühl vermittelte, dass sie sehr auf Sauberkeit achten.

Das Hotel ist sehr neu und bietet schöne Zimmer mit toller Aussicht in den oberen Etagen. Besonders der Balkon ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und hell und mit allem Notwendigen wie Safe und Föhn ausgestattet. Für zusätzliche Ausstattung wie einen Wasserkocher fragen Sie einfach an der Rezeption. Der Check-in verlief schnell und unkompliziert, die Zimmer sind bequem mit dem Aufzug erreichbar. Es gibt ein Restaurant und ein Café. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Restaurant ist reichhaltig und lecker. Auch die Dachterrassenbar mit Innen- und Außenbereich inklusive kleinem Infinity-Pool ist toll, dürfte aber in der Hochsaison recht voll sein. Die Lage des Hotels ist in Ordnung, aber nicht perfekt. Die nächste Straßenbahn- oder U-Bahn-Station (wahrscheinlich El Maresme Forum) ist etwa 5-10 Gehminuten entfernt, und es gibt dort auch ein großes Einkaufszentrum. Der Strand ist 20 Gehminuten entfernt. Alternativ können Sie den Bus H16 nehmen, der nur 5 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt hält und Sie zu den meisten Strandabschnitten entlang der Küste bringt. In der Nähe gibt es auch einige kleine Geschäfte und Bars, die aber nicht besonders empfehlenswert sind. Nun zum Nachteil: Das Hotel liegt anscheinend neben einem heruntergekommenen Wohnviertel, in dem sich zwielichtige Gestalten herumtreiben. Um mit der U-Bahn oder Straßenbahn vom Hotel in die Stadt zu gelangen, sollten Sie etwa 25–30 Minuten einplanen. Der Service war freundlich und das Zimmer wurde täglich sehr gründlich gereinigt. Nur einmal kam es vor, dass gegen 11:30 Uhr ein Hotelangestellter verärgert an unsere Tür klopfte und laut „Auschecken!“ rief, obwohl wir für mehrere weitere Tage gebucht hatten. Er entschuldigte sich, nachdem ich ihn darauf hingewiesen hatte; offensichtlich hatte er das falsche Zimmer. Trotzdem sollte ein solcher Kommunikationsfehler in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht vorkommen. Außerdem erhielten wir eines Tages die kostenlose Wasserflasche nicht, obwohl wir die leere Flasche zuvor entsorgt hatten. Abgesehen davon war alles in Ordnung. Alles in allem würde ich dieses Hotel aufgrund der schönen Aussicht über die Stadt, der neuen und sauberen Zimmer und der günstigen Preise empfehlen. Sowohl die Stadt als auch der Strand sind mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in 15–30 Minuten zu erreichen, daher ist die Hola Barcelona Card empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel bietet reichlich Essen, Getränke und Unterhaltung. Es empfiehlt sich auch, Gaudis wichtigste Touristenattraktionen zu Fuß zu besuchen, damit Sie das Leben, die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die kulturelle Schönheit Barcelonas in vollen Zügen genießen können. Das Hotelfrühstück ist überdurchschnittlich, das Servicepersonal ist sehr enthusiastisch, Aber ich habe eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Nach 2 Tagen Aufenthalt wollte ich das Zimmer wechseln, um meinen Aufenthalt fortzusetzen (von einem Einzelzimmer in ein Dreibettzimmer). Ich habe zwei Tage im Voraus mit der Rezeption kommuniziert und gehofft, eine nahtlose Verbindung herzustellen in ein anderes Zimmer. Uns wurde gesagt, dass wir noch nicht wechseln könnten und wenn um 12 Uhr keine Zimmer mehr frei wären, müssten wir gehen und auf ein Zimmer warten. . Ich hatte vorher auf der Website nachgesehen und das Hotel hatte Zimmer frei. . Danach teilte das Hotel mit, dass ein Zimmer frei sei und bat darum, die Zimmerkarte hochzuschicken, damit wir das Zimmer wechseln könnten. Aber sie sagten tatsächlich, ich müsse runtergehen und persönlich unterschreiben, um den Schlüssel zu bekommen. Als ich runterging, nachgefragt, wurde mir gesagt, dass dies die Vorgehensweise des Hotels sei. . Das war sehr enttäuschend und ich habe beschlossen, nicht zu bleiben. Ich hoffe, dass das Hotelmanagement dieses Problem zur Kenntnis nimmt. Hotels sind heutzutage klug, geben Sie uns nicht einfach eine Entschuldigung, denn das wird das Hotel-Branding ruinieren. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt perfekt, aber aufgrund dieses Falls denke ich, dass ich dem Service ein schlechtes Feedback geben sollte. Das ist vielleicht nicht fair gegenüber den meisten guten Servicemitarbeitern des Hotels, aber es ist uns wichtig, Sie über diese hervorragenden schlechten Erfahrungen zu informieren.

I really like the location of the hotel, exactly at the main station in Barcelona, so it's easier to go to the regional trains, and also the metro. So even if you're not at the center like L'Eixemple, you're just one step away from the metro and busses that take you there. If you're not a first timer in Barcelona and you want to see the nearby regions, this is the perfect hotel as you can easily access the train station for a day trip out of the city. There is a lot of construction happening in the station, but luckily I have a room that did not have the construction view, instead, I got the nice city view room. But not too worry, you can't even hear the sound from the outside. Facilities, amenities, & hotel staff were all amazing and nice. One to highlight as well is the pillows, so comfortable, they even have the description of each pillows, a very nice touch.

Onix Fira seems like a junior hotel in that it has a great deal of potential, but consistently falls short and seems to be having some crisis of identity and growing pains as a hotel. TLDR: I would not stay here again at the rate I paid at booking. It is a decent hotel, but one should only pay $105-$120/night for what it offers. Here’s what’s going right for it: - very clean facilities and room - located across from a mall that also has a grocery store , which is great for grabbing anything you forgot to pack or raw veggies - a nice 2nd floor reading area - a nice rooftop terrace for doing yoga if you bring a mat I have 3 years of experience working for major brand hotels. Here’s where I think Onix Fira can stand to improve: - greeting guests at reception (did a guest have a long journey? Express curiosity, compassion and enthusiasm for the effort they’ve already made. No one wants to be on a 14 hour flight and be received by someone in a bad mood who looks like they have better things to do). - common sense fixes: a) put hooks on the bathroom doors so guests can hang wet towels, b) have a soap dish for your soap, c) the consequence of imitation stainless steel buttons for the toilet.. they leave fingerprint stains that look gross, d) have a blanket or bedspread available in the room and not just the top sheet even though it’s hot out, e) add hair dryers in bathroom, f) have a complimentary bottle of water ready for guests when they enter tthieir room, especially if it’s 90 degree weather in the summer. That’s humane. And no one charging $200/night+ has any business offering less - more pool lounge chairs during the summer - advertise with photos that don’t use a fishbowl lens, be honest that the pool is small - advertise honestly that one must climb 1.5 slights of stairs to reach pool. That’s an accessibility issue for disabled guests - have replenished towels available for guests - have the pool hours actually open during posted hours - offer activities for solo travelers to socialize; you have a whole beautiful 2nd floor level that could be a great space for games, wine tasting, a silly interaction of your choice. I never saw anyone use this space and activities could make the stay more worthwhile. - offer concierge services and recommendations - have a manager on duty available to talk to guests 7 days/week -consider different hallway lighting than red light; red light feels like a ******* Some specific stuff that went wrong in my stay: - key card for room stopped working after one night - power/electricity/AC went out 3x in one night - no one advertised there was construction in front of the hotel .. a total eyesore and noisy during weekdays - drunk guy wandering my floor thst no one stopped at reception and/or no one accompanied him to his room to make sure he wasn’t upsetting - no manager or person with decision making power was available to answer questions - no complimentary services offered for various inconveniences, not even empathy offered Hope things get better!

Pleasant Surprise in the Heart of Barcelona Rating:4/5 Stars Date of Stay:August 2024 --- Summary: We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed. Room: Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable. Service: The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Location: The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient. Facilities: The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city. Food and Drink: We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out. Value for Money: The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities. Tips/Recommendations: This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer. We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

Das Rezeption-Servicepersonal ist sehr enthusiastisch, die Rezeption und das Zimmer sind nicht in eine Tür eingegangen, sehr nahe am Fußballplatz, das Zimmer ist gut, die Lage ist sehr nahe der U-Bahn

Das Einchecken war eine Katastrophe. Nachdem ich den drei Rezeptionisten an der Hotelrezeption meinen Pass vorgelegt hatte, verlangten sie ständig meine Bordkarte für den annullierten Flug. Ohne diese würde ich nicht einchecken dürfen. Ich fragte sie, warum ich meine Bordkarte vorzeigen müsse und wie ich eine haben könne, wenn mein Flug annulliert sei. Sie bestanden darauf, dass ich sie vorzeigen müsse, sonst könne ich nicht einchecken. Ihr Verhalten war extrem unhöflich, und ich brauchte fast 40 Minuten, um alle meine Dokumente vorzuzeigen, bevor ich endlich meinen Zimmerschlüssel bekam. Das Zimmer, das mir zugewiesen wurde, ist nicht besonders komfortabel, da es im Erdgeschoss liegt und kein Fenster zur Straße hat. Ich finde es überhaupt nicht touristenfreundlich.

Das Hotel ist etwa 30 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Sie können die Linie L9 nehmen, eine 48-Stunden-U-Bahn-Karte kostet 17 Euro und der Ausgang ist etwa 500 Meter vom Hotel entfernt, zu Fuß 6-7 Minuten. Die Rezeption des Hotels ist sehr freundlich. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es kostenloses Trinkwasser sowie Automaten zum Kauf von Snacks oder Handyzubehör. Im ersten Stock gibt es auch ein kleines Restaurant, allerdings kostet das Frühstück extra, ebenso wie ein zu früher Check-in und ein zu später Check-out sowie die Reinigung. Aber ich finde diese Methode sehr gut. Im Zimmer sind lediglich Betten, Bettwäsche, Badetücher und ein Fernseher vorhanden.
