Das größte Glück bei diesem Familienausflug nach Lijiang war die Entdeckung dieser Schatzkammer. Vom aufmerksamen Kontakt vor dem Check-in bis hin zur schneebedeckten Berglandschaft, die man vom Fenster aus sehen kann, ist jedes Detail poetisch und berauschend.
🌟Butlerservice, herzlich und fürsorglich
Am Tag vor dem Check-in ergriff der B&B-Manager die Initiative, nahm Kontakt mit uns auf und bestätigte sorgfältig unseren Reiseplan und unsere Wünsche. Als wir ankamen, wartete die Haushälterin bereits im Hof und bot ihre Hilfe mit dem Gepäck an. In der Lobby strahlte die Inhaberin über das ganze Gesicht, erkundigte sich nach unserem Wohlbefinden und erklärte uns voller Begeisterung die Vorkehrungen für den Check-in und die zu erbringenden Dienstleistungen, als wären wir Familienmitglieder, die nach langer Trennung wieder zusammenkommen. Anschließend wurde ein üppiger Nachmittagstee serviert, den das Baby sehr genossen hat.
🏔️Schneebedeckte Berge als Kulisse, malerische Ausblicke aus den Fenstern
Das Design des Zimmers ist atemberaubend – die raumhohen Fenster blicken auf den Jadedrachen-Schneeberg und der neblige Gipfel ähnelt einem silbernen Drachen. Im wechselnden Licht der Morgen- und Abenddämmerung ist der schneebedeckte Berg mal mit Gold bedeckt, mal mit Wolken gefärbt, als ob ein natürliches Ölgemälde vor dem Fenster hängen würde. Lehnen Sie sich nachmittags auf der Couch am Fenster zurück, öffnen Sie das kostenlose Sprudelwasser im Kühlschrank, beobachten Sie, wie die schneebedeckten Berge mit den vorbeiziehenden Wolken tanzen, und hier scheint die Zeit stillzustehen. Und noch besser: Der Raum ist erfüllt von einem eleganten Holzduft, wie der Duft klarer Quellen in einem Kiefernwald, der die Kälte der schneebedeckten Berge widerspiegelt. Das Gefühl von Luxus ist überwältigend und selbst das Atmen wird zum Vergnügen.

Die Sorgfalt, mit der in die Privatunterkunft gesteckt wird, ist in jeder Ecke spürbar: Die Bettwäsche besteht aus hochwertigen Materialien mit genau der richtigen Weichheit und Härte, sodass Sie die ganze Nacht über tief und traumlos schlafen können. Die Toilettenartikel sind von Parma und auch die Badezimmerausstattung ist sehr hochwertig, insbesondere wenn Sie in der Badewanne neben dem großen, vom Boden bis zur Decke reichenden Fenster baden und dabei auf die schneebedeckten Berge blicken. Sie werden nicht nur Ihre ganze Müdigkeit los, sondern haben auch einen ganz besonderen Stil. Überraschend ist, dass der Raum auch mit Bluetooth-Lautsprechern und Projektoren ausgestattet ist. Sie können beim abendlichen Baden leichte Musik hören und dabei den Blick nach oben auf die schneebedeckten Berge und den Sternenhimmel richten, was äußerst romantisch ist.
🍃Eleganter Innenhof im Naxi-Stil
Das Hofdesign der Privatunterkunft verbindet die Bedürfnisse zum Fotografieren und Einchecken mit moderner Ästhetik. In der Mitte gibt es auch einen kleinen Pool. Das Poolwasser plätschert, begleitet von der Bergbrise, ungehindert unter den schneebedeckten Bergen. Die Sonne scheint auf die Blausteinplatten und aus einer beiläufigen Aufnahme wird ein neuer chinesischer Blockbuster. Wenn man nachmittags im Hof sitzt, ein Buch liest und etwas über die alten Legenden von Lijiang erfährt, scheint das geschäftige Treiben der antiken Stadt in der Ferne ausgeblendet zu sein und nur die Ruhe des Flusses der Zeit bleibt übrig.
✨Fazit: Ein Traum, aus dem man nicht aufwachen möchte
Hier sind schneebedeckte Berge häufige Besucher am Fenster, der Gottesdienst ist stille Poesie und die Einzelheiten sind sanfte Geständnisse. Wenn Lijiang ein Paradies auf Erden ist, dann ist diese Privatunterkunft ein Stück Paradies in diesem Paradies.

Let us talk about the good things first.
1. Snow Mountain View rooms can see 日照金山from bed.
2. Location is good for going to snow mountain. It takes around 20min to reach visitor centre of snow mountain.
3. Service is very good. U can ask for anything and they will provide for example bubble wrap to pack our fragile shopping. There’s also free laundry service.
4. Good for those who like the activities included in the room package. We did the Naxi home visit, horse riding and art and craft diy and enjoyed them very much. We like the afternoon tea provided too. And we can have coffee and fruits as much as we want.
Now some points to note.
1. Room is a bit small for 3 of us. The toilet is like a shower cubicle that opens into the room. We only discovered the ventilation switch im the middle of the stay and was wondering why the cubicle is so stuffy, not to mention the smell. With the ventilation on, the problems are solved. The shower cubicle is opposite with the sink in between them. All open into the room with no partition around the bathroom area. The walls of the toilet and shower cubicles are frosted glass and is acceptable for me and my daughters, all ladies.
2. The village is very small. Not much to see. We went to a cafe popular on internet that can take photo on the roof with the snow mountain in the background. The drinks are ok but the pasta is not nice. Maybe that’s why this restaurant is not in the recommended list of the hotel. We did not explore the village much but from what I see, it’s just 1 short street.
3. Ask for a 3rd floor room. It has a sky roof over the bed and we can see stars when we turn off all the lights in the room.
Overall, we did not regret our decision to stay here in the Stone Lodge. If the activities were not included in the package, we would not have experienced them at all.

NNodtTeeThe location was great—close to Baisha Ancient Town and Shuhe Ancient Town. I liked that it felt slightly remote, yet it was still very easy to get around. Getting a Didi took less than three minutes each time.
The customer service was excellent. Before our stay, I reached out to ask if parcels could be delivered to the property, and the staff were very helpful in providing the necessary information. They even went out of their way to retrieve the parcels for us, which we truly appreciated.
The rooms and facilities were clean and well maintained, with daily housekeeping. The view from the room was gorgeous—we could see the mountains from inside the room, as well as from the private rooftop accessed directly from the room.
Our package included daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and warm milk in the evening, and we could really feel the care put into preparing these meals. On one day, we had an early start before breakfast service began, and the staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us to take away and delivered it to us the night before. If we hadn’t made a request for the day, they would proactively check if we needed the meals.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay—from the location and facilities to the amenities, and especially the thoughtful service and care provided.

GGastnutzerOnce in a while, we have the rare privilege of staying somewhere that exemplifies all that is good about travel. Nguluko is one such place.
As the photos suggest, the hotel is beautifully designed. It’s a zen-like, modern annex, connected to Liusan’s generational home. What a curious privilege it is, to be able to join her family around the home’s traditional Naxi courtyard for a bonfire dance, before retreating upstairs to a room of luxurious comforts, including an actual Dyson hairdryer and electronic toilet.
But more important is what the photos cannot capture. In an age of faceless travel, dominated by flavourless hotel chains and mass-produced group tours, it’s rare to be able to feel a connection with folks eager to share a little slice of their life with you. Whether it be a morning stroll around the old village, a sharing session on Naxi culture and Dongba script, or even the aforementioned bonfire dance (replete with lived-in details like the family’s aging hams dangling off the awnings), it harkens back to a more serendipitous style of travel that made me smile.
Even meals (all-inclusive!) are a chance to experience local culture. Locally foraged bracken and morels make an appearance, as do different varieties of liangfen, and Lijiang-style baba. There’s also the most moreish chicken hotpot — which I was going to drive out of the way to Luguzhen to try — but which she ended up serving for dinner on the second night. I’m quite obsessive when it comes to food, and yet everything I wanted to try here, except perhaps the rainbow trout and yak, were cooked up and served.
Some small things could be improved: many stairways lack railings for the mobility impaired, and the ‘October’ room has an odd bathroom design where the toilet cubicle barely has space to close when one is seated. But such issues pale in comparison to the overall experience. Perhaps the biggest compliment I can give it is that in a world filled with a million wonderful destinations, this is one place I would choose to return to.

It’s located in Yuhu Village, personally I feel this village is the most prettiest village in Lijiang. It’s also very exclusive because you need to be confirmed to be able to enter the village. It’s perfect for those who like peaceful village. There are some shops and restaurants, not too many, they are still building them, but the good thing is it is clean and not too crowded.
Pauline itself is magnificent! From the room to the front desk. Room is clean, spacious, and modern! Not to mention the mountain view from the balcony. The front desk people are super helpful. They help with luggages, laundry and all my needs!
I would definetely come back to stay here when I’m in Lijiang.
Lastly, don’t worry, easy to grab Didi to take you anywhere. Also, the rooftop coffee shop is very scenic and close!

CChoo1234.5 stars. Almost perfect . I wish I could give it 5 stars but have some disappointments and rough around the edges.
A unique resort. The places is beautiful and harmony with nature. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights and didn't feel the need to leave the resort at all.
Picturesque scenery. You come here to relax, wall and enjoy the fresh air, and take a million photos. Tea break at their stunning cliff side cafe is inclusive. Also singing and drinking after dinner was a warm experience.
Food was delicious, although more variety would be appreciated for long stay guests.
The pet dogs and cats deserve their own 5 stars! Super friendly and tame - our kids loved playing with them. The staff treated and trained the animals really well. Horses for riding (extra fee) was a great experience. Next time will take lessons.
Service was warm and sincere. Always with a smile. The staff was genuine, friendly, polite, helpful. I cannot say enough good things about them.
They really tried to give their best to meet our needs. I felt really at home and we were treated very well.
The negatives.
Things are inconsistent. We had a beautiful skylight to see stars but it was so dirty that we can hardly see through. Cleaning apparently was difficult and couldn't be done, so what's the use ? Our safe was locked by the previous guest and they did not have the ability to reset and open. So we couldn't use it.
Our rooms was not cleaned on day 3 and 4. On day 4. they just replenished items. Didn't clean or throw away rubbish.
Toilets at the cliffside cafe is terrible state, nobody wash? One dinner, waited for our vegetables for 30 mins. When we asked ”why is it taking long?”, they say ”sorry out of stock'. So had to cancel. Coffee machine had problems , milk tube or valve clogged? could not make milk drinks (e.g cappuccino, latte) during last 2 days.
Archery had many broken arrows , less than half can be used.
They also offered cup noodles for free! Ask us if we wanted. Very nice gesture, but then they say ”sorry no more cup noodles”. Did not replenish during our trip.
Overall an excellent experience, would come again. Could be perfect, but given the price , I would not expect to encounter these negatives mentioned.

IImnotbakaDies ist ein Ort, der nur in Träumen existiert. Schneeberge, riesige grüne Graslandschaften und wunderschöne Tiere überall - die Landschaft war wirklich unvergesslich. Ich verliebte diesen Ort, als ich ankam.
Für Menschen, die immer beschäftigt und mit dem täglichen Leben stressig sind, empfehle ich sehr, hier zu bleiben. Es ist die Art von Ort, der Sie langsam, atmen und wieder friedlich fühlen lässt. Das ganze Umfeld ist ruhig, ruhig und sehr heilend.
Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und immer bereit, mit allem zu helfen, was wir brauchten. Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig und komfortabel. Die Lage ist auch sehr komfortabel, sehr nahe Baisha Ancient Town und sie bieten sogar kostenfreien Shuttleservice.
Einer meiner Lieblingsreisen in Yunnan und ich würde gerne irgendwann wiederkommen.

很久沒有用心寫過評價了，這次真的覺得這家民宿值得！第一次是我主動想給一個民宿，一名管家寫好評。
我們是三個房間入住三晚，所有房間一共九晚。所有人都是給到一致好評，足以證明這間民宿的優秀程度。無論是管家小楊，餐廳的工作人員，前台的工作人員，一直跟我們喝茶的工作人員，是感覺到大家都是用心對待每一位客人♥️
🧡服務：首先特別表揚管家小楊！！！！一百分的話我講給到120分給他！！！“想他人之所想，急他人之所急”，細心，穩妥，高效，可以説有他在民宿，整個住宿過程體驗感滿分，好想一直繼續續住的程度！並且下一次過來，還是繼續選擇他，繼續選擇望山雪。
我們一行人第一天晚上過來的時候，已經超過十二點了，正常民宿的下班時間是十一點半（但是一直有值班人員在）。小楊一直在等我們安排好入住之後才下班，他説一直有什麼需要幫助的就找他。每一件事情都是安排妥帖，而且服務及時。包括因為我們後面因為忘記約車，早上五點鐘給他留言，他也在看到的第一時間馬上回復，並且迅速安排好一切工作，以確保我們準時出行。
我們第二天有一場小型晚宴在餐廳，我提前加了他的微信跟他溝通。因為餐廳沒有晚餐，他主動幫我聯繫了當地能夠送餐的餐廳，主動幫忙對接。直到當天晚上晚宴開始，我們需要高腳杯，他是用水仔細清洗了杯子之後，仔仔細細用乾淨的布慢慢全部擦拭乾凈，沒有水痕！！！！！！真的特別特別細心，我們自己在家裡也不一定可以做得到！
晚宴當天晚上有水果鮮花，然後小楊幫我們全部洗了水果，擺好盤拿給我們。下午花藝來佈置的時候，小楊全程跟進，不停跟我們溝通怎麼擺放。最讓我們所有人感動的是，我們晚宴結束後，因為太累了，洗好的水果就放在外面的篝火處，最後一天早上，我們才知道工作人員幫我們把水果和鮮花全部收起來了，且保存新鮮完整。謝謝所有的工作人員，這個team真的給到一百分💯我們所有人真的感覺到賓至如歸，謝謝大家。
🛁設施：基礎設施，衞生環境根本沒有問題。我自詡算是對衞生要求很高的人。毫無可以挑的出來問題的地方。備品貼心細心，蒸汽眼罩漱口水等等。因為麗江好乾，特別還準備了加濕器。
🏡環境：環境自然不用説，躺在床上看日照金山，看完繼續睡覺💤早餐供應到十一點，種類之多，完全是高要求高水準。衹能説，這家民宿不適合雞蛋裏面挑骨頭的旅客，真的挑不出來毛病！！！！

But honestly? The real beauty of this place wasn't in the interiors or the view, it was in the people.
The hospitality we received was unlike anything I've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we weren't treated like guests. We were treated like family. The hosts were so genuinely warm, so deeply caring, that I kept asking myself: are all Yunnan people this kind?
The sweetest moment came every morning at breakfast. A lovely grandmother from the kitchen would appear with a bowl of her homemade noodles, the most delicious, soul-warming noodles I've ever tasted. She didn't speak much, but her smile said everything. You could feel that she made them with love, just for us. It reminded me of breakfast at my own grandmother's house.
They checked on us without being intrusive, made sure we had everything we needed, and every small gesture came straight from the heart.
I came in with no expectations about Yunnan's people. I left with a deep belief that the people here have some of the warmest hearts I've ever known. Staying here didn't just give us a beautiful cabin with a mountain view, it gave us a memory of human warmth that will stay with us for a very long time.

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
