MmaxemilDas ist das Wort, das nach unserer Zeit bei Nguluko/Yuhu bei mir geblieben ist. Was dieses Gasthaus so einzigartig macht, ist nicht nur die elegante Mischung der Naxi-Tradition und modernen Designs, wie diese Mischung lebt und schafft eine sehr besondere Erfahrung!
Die Eigentümer leben noch im ursprünglichen alten Haus, mit seinem unbeschädigten Hof, während die Gästezimmer in einem schön gestalteten, aufwärts geprägten neuen Gebäude. Diese Mischung aus lebendem Erbe und ruhigen, fünf-Sterne-Luxus ist selten und tief berührend.
Und dann gibt es die Aussicht. Aussehen über die Dachoberflächen des Dorfes Yuhu zum Majestät des Yulong Xueshan... es ist etwas, das ich nie vergessen werde.
Ich kann diesen Ort für jeden, der auf der Suche nach einer sehr speziellen ländlichen Erfahrung mit Top-Comfort in einer schönsten Umgebung empfehlen.

RRenee C.I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay.
Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out.
YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful.
First impressions were great.
As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing.
I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable.
Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup.
There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby.
Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin.
The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing.
The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay.
I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

GGastnutzerEs ist mehr als zwei Wochen her, seit ich aus Yunnan zurückkam, und plötzlich stellte ich fest, dass die Ausdauer für Lijiang, Yunnan, zu groß war. Das liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass ich, als ich ein Auto nach Lijiang gechartert habe, im Toishou House übernachtet habe, sobald ich mich niedergelassen habe. Auch der Name des Hotels ist ein guter Name, der den Menschen das Gefühl gibt, in die Ruhe und Schönheit der Natur zurückzukehren. Abfahrt von Dali Shuanglang um 12:30 Uhr und Ankunft an der Rezeption von Shitoucuo um 16:00 Uhr. Der Butler bringt Ihnen aufmerksam eine Tasse heißen Milchtee, um die Müdigkeit der Bergwanderung wegzuspülen.
Die Haushälterinnen sind wie Familienmitglieder, die ich noch nie zuvor getroffen habe. Sie sind freundlich und unkompliziert und ihr Service ist sehr rücksichtsvoll. Sie reagieren zeitnah auf Nachrichten in der Gruppe. Das Hotel bietet außerdem jederzeit einen Wäscheservice, Fruchtsnacks, Kaffee, Milchtee und heißen Kakao.
Jede Ecke des Hotels scheint sorgfältig eingerichtet worden zu sein, und das gesamte Hotelgebäude und die Aufteilung der Zimmer verschmelzen mit der Landschaft des Jadedrachen-Schneebergs und spiegeln sie wider. Als ich am nächsten Morgen die Augen öffnete, hatte ich das Glück, den Berg Rizhao Jinshan zu sehen. Das eindringliche Gefühl war sehr verträumt. Da ich noch nie zuvor einen schneebedeckten Berg gesehen hatte, war ich noch schockierter, als die Windböen die üppigen Bäume und das Gras am Fuße des Berges bewegten und das klare Wasser im Teich vor dem Hof war Landschaftsbilder waren nichts weiter.
Leider war mein Terminkalender in Lijiang ziemlich voll und ich war mit privaten Aktivitäten beschäftigt, sodass ich nicht an der Tannenzapfenpflückung des DIY-Gedenkfotorahmens und anderen Aktivitäten des Hotels teilnahm. Nachdem ich mir die von der Haushälterin geschickten Fotos angesehen hatte, hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die von anderen Gästen angefertigten Bilderrahmen gut aussahen. Am Abend ging ich in die Altstadt von Lijiang und erlebte den geschäftigen Nachtmarkt, der mich in das überfüllte und drängende Gefühl der Stadt zurückversetzte. Unbewusst bevorzugte ich die Ruhe des Steinhauses und den Komfort, den Jadedrachen-Schneeberg zu beobachten nah. Das Steinhaus tief in der Natur ist so entspannend!

NNodtTeeThe location was great—close to Baisha Ancient Town and Shuhe Ancient Town. I liked that it felt slightly remote, yet it was still very easy to get around. Getting a Didi took less than three minutes each time.
The customer service was excellent. Before our stay, I reached out to ask if parcels could be delivered to the property, and the staff were very helpful in providing the necessary information. They even went out of their way to retrieve the parcels for us, which we truly appreciated.
The rooms and facilities were clean and well maintained, with daily housekeeping. The view from the room was gorgeous—we could see the mountains from inside the room, as well as from the private rooftop accessed directly from the room.
Our package included daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and warm milk in the evening, and we could really feel the care put into preparing these meals. On one day, we had an early start before breakfast service began, and the staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us to take away and delivered it to us the night before. If we hadn’t made a request for the day, they would proactively check if we needed the meals.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay—from the location and facilities to the amenities, and especially the thoughtful service and care provided.

The accommodation itself exceeds a 5-star hotel standard. From the moment you enter the room, it is clear that every element has been carefully considered. The design, attention to detail, and overall comfort reflect the work of a top-tier designer. As designers ourselves, we truly appreciated the thoughtful colour schemes, lighting choices, and smart conveniences throughout the space. Features such as the fully automatic toilet, comfortable shower, and stylish humidifier added to the sense of luxury and refinement.
It is this meticulous attention to detail that truly sets this accommodation apart from others.
Location:
Located in Yuhu Village, a charming Naxi village, the setting is both authentic and peaceful. The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience.
Customer Service & Staff:
The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs.
The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay.

Für Menschen, die immer beschäftigt und mit dem täglichen Leben stressig sind, empfehle ich sehr, hier zu bleiben. Es ist die Art von Ort, der Sie langsam, atmen und wieder friedlich fühlen lässt. Das ganze Umfeld ist ruhig, ruhig und sehr heilend.
Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und immer bereit, mit allem zu helfen, was wir brauchten. Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig und komfortabel. Die Lage ist auch sehr komfortabel, sehr nahe Baisha Ancient Town und sie bieten sogar kostenfreien Shuttleservice.

The room was absolutely beautiful: spacious, luxurious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It was designed with great attention to detail, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy a stunning view of Yulong Snow Mountain directly from the room, which made the stay feel even more special and unforgettable. The amenities were also excellent, especially the Le Labo toiletries, which added a lovely touch of luxury.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the exceptional service from our butler, 小杨. He was incredibly attentive, warm, thoughtful, and professional throughout the entire stay. From the smallest details to every request we had, he handled everything with patience, efficiency, and genuine care. What impressed us most was not only his responsiveness, but also his sincerity always made us feel welcomed, remembered, and truly looked after.
小杨 went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. His service was never just formal or routine; it felt personal, heartfelt, and full of warmth. He anticipated our needs, checked in on us appropriately, and made every arrangement feel effortless. Because of him, the stay felt less like a hotel visit and more like being warmly hosted by someone who truly cared. HHenny P AdiHonestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan.
From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking.
The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations.
The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away.
What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
