⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Most Memorable Stay of My First Trip to China I did a lot of research before choosing this guesthouse in Lijiang. Then I saw a photo of Aobai and somehow felt a calling 😂. I'm so glad I booked it because this turned out to be the most memorable stay of my entire trip. From the moment we arrived, Ah Zhi and Xiaofei came to pick us up from the drop-off point and helped with our large and heavy luggage. We were travelling with children and walking slowly, but Xiaofei patiently walked with us while Ah Zhi pulled the luggage trolley all the way. My first impression was that Ah Zhi and Xiaofei looked quite serious and intimidating 😂, but after getting to know them, I discovered they are some of the kindest and most helpful people I met during my trip. The guesthouse is tucked away among the shops, making it peaceful, quiet, and cozy. We were welcomed by beautiful lady boss Wang Hui with high-quality Pu'er tea and flower pastries. The hospitality started immediately, and the tea never seemed to stop flowing. Xiaofei, who constantly made sure I never went thirsty. Every time he saw me, he would offer me tea or stop by for a chat. Although my Mandarin is limited, communication was never a problem. We used Google Translate whenever needed and even had a few of our famous ”fresh air sessions” together 😂. Before long, it became an inside joke whenever Ah Zhi or Xiaofei saw me. Of course, I cannot forget Aobai, the true star of the guesthouse! The owners were always happy to let Aobai out whenever my children wanted to see or play with him. After one play session, Xiaofei even noticed my coat was covered in Aobai's fur and handed me a lint remover. Such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was one of the most unique experiences. All guests sit together at one long dining table, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. As a Muslim, I couldn't eat the noodles, but that was not a problem. I enjoyed steamed sweet potatoes, corn, and eggs, while the staff kindly prepared hot water for the cup noodles I brought for my children and even provided milk drinks. Everyone was respectful of my dietary restrictions. There is also a free-flow coffee machine in the lobby using freshly ground coffee beans. Thank you, Ah Zhi, for making fresh coffee for me. When I requested milk for my coffee, Ah Zhi and Xiaofei happily helped. These little gestures made me feel so welcome. It rained throughout our stay, but Xiaofei and Ah Zhi constantly reminded us to take umbrellas whenever we went out. Even when they were having dinner, they would come out to assist us, greet us when we returned, or see us off when we left. A special thank you to Wang Hui, Ah Zhi, and Xiaofei. Their warmth, kindness, and hospitality made us feel completely at home. On checkout day, our train was very early, and Ah Zhi kindly sent us off with flower pastries and milk drinks for the journey. Xiaofei also recommended a halal restaurant nearby, and the food was exceptionally delicious. I would also like to thank the other staff members whose names I unfortunately did not get. Every single person we met was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring. I already miss Aobai and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for making my first trip to China such a memorable one. Dieses B&B wurde sorgfältig ausgewählt, und die Umgebung hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Terrasse im sechsten Stock ist wunderschön gestaltet und besticht durch einen modernen und unverwechselbaren Stil. Von hier aus kann man den Jadedrachen-Schneeberg überblicken, die üppigen Sukkulenten aus nächster Nähe bewundern und sogar perfekte Fotomotive nutzen. Der Besitzer, ein einheimischer Naxi, war unglaublich gastfreundlich. Er hat uns nicht nur ein kostenloses Zimmer-Upgrade gewährt, sondern uns und andere Reisende auch eingeladen, abends die lokale Spezialität, den Mabang-Tee, zu genießen. Wir versammelten uns um das Feuer, tauschten Reiseerlebnisse aus und sorgten für eine wirklich herzliche Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer war komplett mit intelligenten Haushaltsgeräten ausgestattet – perfekt für junge Leute. Insgesamt ist dies ein B&B, das ich Freunden und Familie empfehlen würde.

Room is spacious and clean, breakfast provided and walking distance to Baisha Ancient Town. Staffs are friendly and responsible - we had issues with the toilet and they helped us to change room immediately. Most importantly the puppies are very cute!

Der Aufenthalt war fantastisch! Das Frühstück war lecker, das Zimmer sauber und komfortabel, und die Hotelanlage war ruhig und elegant. Unglücklicherweise regnete es in Lijiang die ganzen zwei Tage, sodass wir nichts unternehmen konnten und die meiste Zeit im Hotel verbrachten. Aber zu unserer Überraschung bot das Hotel eine Fülle an Freizeitmöglichkeiten: kostenlose Fotoshootings, Bastelworkshops und die Möglichkeit, Tee-Presslinge herzustellen. Auch das hoteleigene Karaoke und die Teestube mit Gesellschaftsspielen konnten wir kostenlos nutzen. Die gesamte Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll und hatte einen starken lokalen Charakter. Der Nachmittagstee war auch optisch ein Genuss. Am beeindruckendsten war der aufmerksame und umfassende Service. Da wir in der Nebensaison reisten und nicht viele Gäste anwesend waren, wurden wir von einem persönlichen Butler eins zu eins betreut. Egal welche Wünsche wir hatten, es wurde sich sofort und bestens darum gekümmert. Für ein Budget von etwas über 1.000 Yuan bekamen wir ein erstklassiges Erlebnis, das man normalerweise nur in Luxus-Resorts findet. Dieser Aufenthalt war wirklich jeden Cent wert!

Ein außergewöhnlich angenehmer Aufenthalt! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Obwohl ich schon spät ankam, war die Rezeptionistin unglaublich herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war blitzsauber, und das Upgrade, das sie vorgenommen hatte, machte es noch komfortabler. Da ich einen Ausflug in die Berge plante, bot die Rezeption Sauerstoffflaschen zum Kauf an; ungeöffnete Flaschen konnten zurückgegeben werden. Ich war nach meiner Rückkehr von den Bergen völlig erschöpft, und die Begrüßung des Personals mit „Sie sind wieder da!“ hat mich sehr berührt und mir ein warmes Gefühl gegeben! Das Gästehaus half mir nach dem Auschecken, mein Gepäck aufzubewahren, und während wir auf unsere Abholung warteten, bot uns das Personal sogar Wasser an – so aufmerksam! ❤️ Es gab auch einen separaten Raucherbereich im Flur, sodass ich nicht gestört wurde. Ein wirklich unschlagbarer Aufenthalt, der meiner Reise nach Lijiang eine ganz besondere Note verliehen hat! So herzlich und einladend!

Das Zimmer ist extrem schön! Die Landschaft ist großartig! Sie können auch den Berg Rizhao Jinshan sehen! Die Ausstattung ist auch sehr gut, der Luftbefeuchter wird dringend benötigt! Auch der Service ist sehr gut! Es muss gesagt werden, dass es besonders gut ist! ! ! Wenn Sie das nächste Mal nach Lijiang kommen, werden Sie wieder hier übernachten! ! ! Auch das Frühstück ist lecker! ! ! Habe mir auch ein Souvenir geschenkt! ! ! Sehr gut! Nachts ist es sehr ruhig und das Essen zum Mitnehmen kann an die Tür geliefert werden, was sehr praktisch ist.

Das Hotel war durchschnittlich, das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Die Anordnung war sehr eng, man musste warten, bis niemand daneben stand, um sich auszustrecken und etwas zu holen. Der Dampfgarer war groß, aber man konnte sich leichter die Hände am Dampf verbrennen. Die Kaffeebohnen waren gut, aber die Zubereitung hatte kleine Mängel. Der Service an der Rezeption war zufriedenstellend. Die Haushälterin Amelia war sehr kompetent; egal wann ich sie kontaktierte, sie antwortete immer sofort auf meine Nachrichten. Sie gab mir viele nützliche Ratschläge zu verschiedenen Problemen und konnte gute Empfehlungen für Essen, Trinken, Unterhaltung und Transport geben. Im Fitnessstudio des Hotels musste man die Geräte selbst ein- und ausschalten. Ich weiß nicht, ob dies eine Sparmaßnahme ist oder was. Die Rezeption informierte mich, dass das Wäschewaschen Selbstbedienung ist, und im Fitnessstudio hatte ich das Gefühl, dass es auch Selbstbedienung war. Man musste sich bücken, um den Schalter für das gewünschte Gerät zu finden und es selbst zu bedienen. Das Hotel befindet sich ganz hinten in einem Wohngebiet, in dem viele Häuser leer stehen und im Grunde auch zum Hotel gehören. Ein Vorteil ist, dass das Hotel einen Shuttle-Service zur Altstadt von Shuhe anbietet, der sehr schnell reagiert und man nicht lange warten muss.

Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.

Ambiente: Ruhig und abgeschieden, fernab vom Trubel, mit einer einzigartigen chinesischen Ästhetik. Der Duft von Räucherstäbchen erfüllte das gesamte Zimmer und wirkte sehr beruhigend. Besonders angetan war ich vom Zitronengrasöl; ich kaufte es für über 1000 Yuan und erhielt 30 % Rabatt – ein echtes Schnäppchen! Ausstattung: Beheiztes Massagebad im Freien mit privater Badewanne. Vom Zimmer aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang über dem Goldenen Berg. Service: Butler Luna bot einen exzellenten Service. Er half mir, im Voraus ein Reisefotoshooting zu buchen, organisierte den Zimmerservice inklusive Reinigung, beantwortete meine Fragen, arrangierte den Flughafentransfer, stellte mir eine kleine Plüschschildkröte und Mineralwasser zur Verfügung. Absolut empfehlenswert! Der abendliche Aufdeckservice war einzigartig: Am ersten Abend gab es ein Fußbad mit Rosenmilch in einem Kupferbecken, am zweiten Abend ein Fußbad mit grobem Salz, ebenfalls in einem Kupferbecken. Auch das Frühstück war gut und bot eine tolle Aussicht. Ein einfacher Flughafentransfer vom Hotel zum Flughafen Lijiang Sanyi: Der Transfer war gut. Ein Fotoshooting in traditioneller Tracht im Hotel (Reservierung mindestens 1 Tag im Voraus erforderlich): Ich hatte vor einigen Tagen bereits Fotos in tibetischer und Yi-Tracht machen lassen und habe nun hier meine Miao-Tracht anfertigen lassen, um etwas von der ethnischen Kultur zu erleben. 5 Fotos, keine weiteren. Saisonales Obst zur Begrüßung: An beiden Tagen stehen kleine Obstkörbe bereit, abends gibt es frischen Saft und kleine Kuchen, darunter Drachenfrucht- und Orangensaft. Im Kühlschrank befinden sich außerdem große Kuchen.

Das Hotel ist noch weit von der Straße entfernt, die Altstadt Lijiang mit dem Gehen 1.3 Kilometer. Es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt am Hoteltor. Es gibt viele Restaurants, die in der Nähe von den Bewohnern essen. Das warme Wasser im Zimmer ist gekühlt ㄧ ㄧ und es ist ein scharfes Leben. Das Wasser im Bad wird ausgehen, was das Zimmer verheilt. Das Gerät fühlt sich etwas alt.
