Yunxi definitely is the best place we have stayed throughout our 12 days trip. This is mainly contributed by the warm hospitality of 十三少. 十三少is the best host one could have ever asked for. He cautioned us of the landmines to avoid, helped us in our preparation for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as we have elderly in our group. He suggested restaurants where it suits our Singaporean&Malaysian taste buds and very friendly to our pockets. In the day when we were up at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, he texted us to check if we were doing alright and if the elderly was feeling alright. In his place, he fed us well with endless supply of pomegranate, pu’er tea, snacks and his secret stash of 白酒. 十三少is more than a host to us, he’s a friend, which we will come back to whenever we are at Lijiang. Cost performance (性价比） is definitely very high with high quality bathroom ware (Kohler), Dyson hairdryer, projector tv, mini washing machine and dryer in the room, comfortable beds and the rooms are super spacious. Basic amenities are all well prepared. We will definitely choose this place again should we decide to come back to Lijiang given the warm hospitality by 十三少。

Located conveniently inside the Ancient city of Li Jiang, this boutique designer hotel exceeded all of our expectations! The views from the hotel room and from the public terrace were incredible and the bathtub was a great way to relax after a long day of walking the ancient city. We very much enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea which came with tons of little desserts that were exceptionally delicious. The manager was very attentive and passionate about tea. He is a tea expert that is part of a group that grows tea and the tea we enjoyed on the terrace was sourced by him and his group. We got to try the red tea that had just been released this year. He also gave us a few food recommendations around LiJiang which we checked out. He also helped us arrange transportation from the hotel to the train station.
