Insgesamt war ich zufrieden, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften empfand ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als nicht optimal. Die Lage ist hervorragend, direkt an der Altstadt gelegen. Dadurch ist man schnell in die Stadt hinein- und wieder hinaus und findet inmitten des Trubels eine ruhige Oase. Der Innenhof ist mit nur neun Zimmern zwar klein, aber die Ausstattung ist neu und sauber. Die Zimmer selbst sind jedoch recht klein; es fehlte der Platz, um Koffer und Kleidung auszubreiten. Der Preis ist in der Hochsaison zudem recht hoch, und es handelt sich nicht um ein Zimmer mit Aussicht. Daher finde ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis persönlich nicht besonders gut. Anscheinend gibt es keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, und die Fußbodenheizung ist nicht sehr warm; man benötigt zusätzliche Heizung für mehr Komfort. Der Service war jedoch ausgezeichnet. Ein freundlicher junger Mann half uns, indem er einen kleinen Gepäckwagen brachte (denn das Kopfsteinpflaster der Altstadt ist wirklich schwer zu begehen), und er half uns auch, die Raumtemperatur zu regulieren. Der Besitzer lud uns zum Tee ein. Die meisten Gäste hier sind Familien mittleren Alters im Urlaub, was für eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre sorgt.

Vom ersten Sonnenstrahl am Morgen geweckt, der durch die offene Tür fiel, war das Erste, was meine Augen erblickten, der schneebedeckte Gipfel des Jadedrachen-Schneebergs, der durch den Wolkenschleier schimmerte. Das Gasthaus, in dem wir wohnten, war ein Hof im alten Naxi-Stil – blaue Ziegel reihten sich an blaue Ziegel, die Holzfenster spiegelten die fernen Berge wider, und das zarte Läuten der Windspiele am Dachvorsprung war so leicht wie ein Traum. Am Nachmittag zog ich einen Rattan-Stuhl in den Hof, sonnte mich und schälte Orangen, während ich zusah, wie die Wolken langsam von den Berggipfeln zu den Dächern schwebten. Sogar die Zeit verlangsamte sich zu einem Gedicht. Nachts schlief ich mit dem Wind der Berge als Kissen ein, und meine Träume waren erfüllt vom Rauschen der Kiefern und den Sternen. Am Morgen öffnete ich das Fenster, und die klare Luft des Schneebergs, eingehüllt in den Morgennebel, strömte herein; sogar das Atmen wurde rein. Hier gab es keine Hektik, nur die Berge, die Wolken, den alten Hof und die langsam dahinfließenden Tage, die einen dazu brachten, die Zeit einfach so friedlich wie ein Gedicht zu leben. Eine gute Reise! Es lohnt sich!

Review from Malaysian - worth every penny! 1. First and foremost, this place is a true definition of luxury. It's architecture and design is really well thought off with a dedicated private courtyard. Their common space has different section, giving you choices on where and what you would like to experience. Its interior spells luxury in every corner. They even have a fireplace which is actually a humidifier - very important for a cold place. 2. Secondly, as its name. It is the most carefree holiday we had, where everything is well prepared and well planned. 3. Last but not least, the hospitality.! Its owners are always around. We have multiple conversations beside the fireplace (legit fireplace) and when we depart, the most touching words was said - ”call us if there is anything as we are local people, we can help you” Totally recommend to stay here, true definition of ”atas”.

Die Holzkonstruktion des vergünstigten Zimmers wirkte angenehm, die Schalldämmung war jedoch mangelhaft; ich wurde vom Lärm des Nachbarn geweckt, der früh morgens eingecheckt hatte. Das Tatami-Zimmer auf dem Balkon, das auf den Werbefotos zu sehen war, war nun mit Blumen geschmückt.

Ich war zum ersten Mal in Lijiang und habe mich unter den vielen B&Bs für dieses entschieden. Zuerst war es nur wegen des einfachen, aber poetischen Namens. Es war anders als andere B&Bs. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass diese scheinbar schlampige Wahl dieser Reise eine besondere Note verleihen würde. Am ersten Tag unserer Ankunft in Lijiang organisierte der Chef einen Abholservice für uns. Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Chef, Fahrer und Haushälterin verlief von der Abholung bis zum Check-in reibungslos. Zwischendurch gab es ein paar kleinere Probleme. Der Chef half uns auch tatkräftig, empfahl uns Spielplätze und plauderte in seiner Freizeit am Herd. Ich bin heute von Lijiang abgereist. Ich bin dem Chef sehr dankbar für seine Gastfreundschaft. Wir sind sehr glücklich, einen so aufrichtigen Menschen kennengelernt zu haben. Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute und viel Gesundheit!

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und half mit dem Gepäck. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr schön, gut belüftet und hell. Die Pension lag am Rande der Altstadt und bot einen ruhigen Rückzugsort inmitten des Trubels. Beim Spaziergang von der Pension in die Altstadt erlebte man die zunehmende Lebendigkeit der Menschenmassen, während der Rückweg vom Zentrum der Altstadt zur Pension eine allmähliche Rückkehr zur Ruhe brachte – zwei völlig unterschiedliche, aber beide wunderbare Erlebnisse.

Ich sehe die Halle im Internet als mein Lieblingshof, entschlossen, nach dem Eintritt in den Besitzer enthusiastisch, großzügig und schön. Zusammen reden und besonders entspannen. Wenn es nicht wegen der Zeitbeziehung wäre, würde ich wirklich mehr Tage wohnen. Das Frühstück ist besonders lecker und die Hände sind in der Tasche. Der Schöne Chef hat auch mit dem Abendessen eingeladen, und das Haus ist sehr gut. Nächstes Mal auf Urlaub, wir werden sicher noch mehr Tage leben. Der Schöne Chef trinkt Tee zusammen, ist deprimiert, zerstört 😊

When my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
