RRaj PiskalaReally enjoyed my stay here! Extremely good value - good location, super friendly owners, very low noise, private room (with key to lock it too!), own heater/fan so can control your room heat, and even access to a shared kitchen if you want to cook during your stay! Only thing is the entire household speaks Chinese so they use translators or gestures to communicate to you if you only speak English. However, host Jason speaks perfect English so there is always a safety in case you need anything. Additionally, they give you free instant noodles, fruits, and water during your stay so you don't have to worry about going hungry here! Free coffee, tea, rice porridge too as long as you can make it. Surprisingly there's a meal menu as well and the prices are extremely reasonable, $2 for rice porridge in the morning, $8 for a homemade tomato egg soup, both were really good! The location is good - right next to Queen Street so you have direct tram access, but it's on a side street so no noise, easy parking, no wind, etc. The room itself is large, clean, and spacious. Very little noise which meant really good sleep quality. Shared bathroom but it's unused 90% of the time, so no issues there either. For utilities: the WiFi was fast, tap water and showers were hot, microwave, toaster, and water kettle all provided, and they even offered free butter for my toast! Overall great stay and I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Toronto!

GGastnutzerBooked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative.
The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived.
I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

GGastnutzerI stayed at this hotel for one night, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best short stays I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
The host was absolutely amazing — extremely helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the entire stay. They answered all of my questions quickly, even after I had already checked in, which made the whole experience feel very smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find that level of attentiveness and genuine care.
The view was simply stunning. I loved the beautiful water view — waking up and seeing the water right outside was such a peaceful and memorable experience. It truly elevated the entire stay.
The unit itself was spotless and exceptionally clean. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. Everything felt fresh, organized, and very well taken care of.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it so convenient to prepare our own dinner. Having a proper kitchen setup really makes a difference, especially for a comfortable and relaxed night in.
The location is another huge plus. The area is fantastic — so many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and even grocery stores nearby. Being able to walk everywhere made the stay even more enjoyable and convenient.
Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-located place to stay downtown. Truly a five-star experience!

The rooms are kept clean, and are very comfortable for a weekend getaway.
We’ve stayed here a handful of times, and is for sure our absolute favorite!
The pool & hot tub are an extra bonus too. For sure recommend to anyone looking for a clean, affordable stay. And its location is so good to everything !!

NNgMoonIch war zunächst besorgniserregend über den Aufenthalt in einem ”alten” Hotel, aber meine Sorgen kamen zu Ruhe. Es war ähnlich einem Cottage-Thema mit sehr sauberen Zimmern und angemessenen Einrichtungen. Personal war immer sehr freundlich, Wir begrüßen uns, wenn wir das Hotel verlassen und zurückkehren, und reagieren unverzüglich auf unsere Hausaufbewahrungsanfragen. 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt, gibt es einen Park mit einem ruhigen Fluss, ein toller Ort zum Ruhen und von der berufsmäßigen Stadtleben zurück. Der nächste Bahnhof ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß und ein 30-45 Minuten Autofahrt nach der Stadt. Einige Nebenanlagen, es gibt neben dem im Hotel keine nebenangelegenen Restaurants und keine nebenangelegenen Supermärkte. Die Werkzeuge wurden nicht im Zimmer angeboten, so bereit zu sein, Ihre eigene Satte. Hotellifts scheinen ein wenig ausgeschaltet, aber hatten nicht unterbrochen während meines Aufenthalts. Insgesamt genossen ich meinen Aufenthalt angesichts der ruhigen Umgebung und erstaunlichen Service. Ich würde in Zukunft zurückkehren bedenken

GGastnutzerThe hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.

LLivyC75The hotel was a glamorous stay right in the heart of Toronto. There’s a feeling of old luxury in the rooms and the lobby. The room had been renovated recently but they’re much smaller than newer hotels and only just fits a couple and luggage. The amenities were good, and we used the small sauna and steam room. Everything about the hotel was great despite being so compact. The toiletries provided were by Le Labo, but the scent is very strong and can be overpowering for some if you don’t bring your own.

GGastnutzerBeim Namen Radisson Blu denken viele an ein 4-Sterne-Hotel, doch meine Erfahrung dort war alles andere als erfreulich. Die Missverständnisse begannen bereits beim Einchecken. Auf Trip.com stand, dass ein Frühstücksbuffet für 25 Dollar pro Person angeboten wird, doch auf Nachfrage hieß es, es gäbe nur À-la-carte-Frühstück und müsse im Restaurant bezahlt werden. Ein Buffet gab es gar nicht. Ich sollte eine E-Mail schreiben, um die Angaben auf Trip.com zu bestätigen. Leider erhielt ich bis zur Frühstückszeit (8-11 Uhr) keine Antwort, und so bekamen wir morgens kein Frühstück.
Das Zimmer war okay, aber nicht so aufregend, wie man es von einem Radisson Blu erwarten würde. Ich habe schon in Radisson Blu Hotels in anderen Ländern übernachtet, aber die Zimmerqualität dort ist nicht mit der des Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown vergleichbar. Das Zimmer dort ist wie in jedem x-beliebigen Hotel. Die Kaffeemaschine war total verdreckt. Als wir uns an der Rezeption beschwerten, wurde uns kein Ersatz geschickt. Außerdem fehlten die Zahnputzsets, die in 4-Sterne-Hotels eigentlich Standard sein sollten. Erst nach Nachfrage an der Rezeption erhielten wir welche, etwa eine Stunde später. Beim Auschecken stellte sich heraus, dass die Rezeptionistin eine Praktikantin war. Ich zeigte ihr ein Foto der verschmutzten Kaffeemaschine und erklärte unsere Unzufriedenheit. Sie meinte, sie könne keine Entschädigung leisten, da das Zimmer im Voraus bezahlt sei. Stattdessen bot sie mir eine Flasche Wasser für unsere Reise an 😄. Ich meine, ich brauche keine Wasserflasche als Entschädigung. Dann bot sie mir an, dass das Parken kostenlos sei. Jetzt warte ich auf die Rückerstattung meiner 100 Dollar Kaution. Abgesehen davon ist die Lage des Hotels wirklich super und praktisch. Mitten im Stadtzentrum. Der CN Tower war direkt vom Fenster unseres Zimmers aus zu sehen. Alles in allem entspricht das Hotel nicht dem Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hotels.

GGastnutzerRoom and overall space was excellent. We’ve stayed before within the year and eagerly returned. Rooms are very well appointed and very well cleaned and maintained. Cleaning service is “every other day” but we found them always accessible on our floor for a towel or such. Free coffee and tea a perk in main lounge off of entry lobby. Front desk staff are always polite, helpful and smiling. Location is ideal -Longos grocery two blocks above, with the subway in that same building lots of eating options on Bloor and throughout the village.
