Auf die Zimmerwahl ist zu achten. Hatten ein Zimmer im überdachten Innenhof. Ist gleichzeitig die Halle mit Foyer und Bar. Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen. Frühstück ist OK. Kleiner Pool auf dem Dach mit schönen Blick bis zur Skyline. Service im Hotel freundlich aber dann schnell oberflächlich. Poolservice nicht vorhanden, schmutzig Poollandschaft und unsauberes Wasser.

Es war eine Freude, in diesem Hotel mit dem warmen freundlichen Personal zu bleiben, vor allem Emma, die oben und darüber ging, um uns bei der Eincheckung zu helfen. Während einige Mitarbeiter beschränkt Englisch sprechen können, machen sie sich zusätzliche Anstrengungen, um Ihre Bedürfnisse zu kommunizieren und zu verstehen. Die Lage war perfekt für die Stadt mit Uber und die Preise waren nicht so teuer (die meisten Reisen waren rund USD 2-4). Es gibt ein Gemüsehaus in der Nähe von Fußgängern, Riba Smith, die auch viele bekannte Marken und lokale Gegenstände hat. Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Zimmer war mit Handtüchern, Haartrockner, Toilettenpapier, Schneidwaren einschließlich Kisten und Kegeln, Geschirrspülmittel, Sponge und Roll von Napkins ausgestattet. Wir gingen zum Gemüsehaus, um einige Lebensmittel zu bekommen und die Küche war mit einer Mikrowelle, einem elektrischen Herd (keine Notwendigkeit für Spiele!) und einem Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Während die Fenster nicht im Zimmer geöffnet werden, ist es immer noch sehr komfortabel. Die Waschmaschine und Trockner befinden sich am Ende der Halle und bieten Ihnen ein bisschen Waschmittel, um Sie durch Ihre erste Waschbelastung zu bekommen. Nur flüssige Reinigungsmittel können in diesen Maschinen verwendet werden und Sie müssen die Maschine in Quartalsbedienung betreiben (zu dem Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts war es USD3.50 für Wasch und USD2.25 für den Trockner). Das Front Desk kann Ihnen helfen mit Münzen, wenn Sie brauchen (das ist, wo wir unsere!). Wir blieben zwei Wochen. Das Zimmer war auf der 15. Etage, es war ruhig mit einem großen Blick auf die Stadt. Es gab keine Störungen oder Laut Musik, so war es ideal für schnelle Videokonferenzanrufe, wenn Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts arbeiten müssen. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt und wir werden sicher freuen, dort wieder zu bleiben.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Casa Panama for 3 nights and unfortunately, our experience was not a positive one. While we had picked this hotel because it was right at the entrance to Casco Viejo and we thought we would be closer to the new city as well and centrally located in Casco Viejo , but wish we would had pay more attention to the bad reviews, they are all very real and more. The Hotel is located in a not so nice area, the adjacent streets are rough, dirty and they do not look safe to walk .The construction going on next door makes the area even worst. Checking in was no problem. The staff is not the friendliest (except for Natalie that tried her best to help us deal with the issues) the rest of the staff seem bothered every time you ask a question. I understand the decorator went for a concrete effect finish, but please this is not an effect some parts of the room look disgusting. We paid for a superior room with balcony. The room was extremely small and dark. The curtains were very dirty like they had never been washed, the doors to the balcony another disappointment, dirty and hard to open and close. Outside the balcony the view was not what is picture in the website. Yes, the view includes some of the pictures but mostly you get to see very bad street and filth. The sheets in the bed were old and the cover was not enough for two people Furthermore, the noise level in the hotel was excessive. There is a restaurant in the first floor and a club/bar in the third floor the music lasted until 3 or 4 am every night and to make matters worse the street in front of the hotel is an entrance to Casco Viejo and it is nonstop traffic and you can hear the police, the music from the cars and the car horns all night long. By six in the morning when everything was calming down then the construction crew arrives and you start to listen to their noises. sleep for This made it difficult for us to sleep or relax in our room No water at times in the afternoon. We should have changed hotels but that meant we would probably lose a day of tours and we were only there 4 days and we decided to make the best of the moment.
