Parken hinter dem Haus (Achtung schmale Einfahrt, die man schnell übersieht) möglich. Kürzlich renovierte Zimmer mit bequemen breiten Betten und gut ausgestattet (Fön, Bügeleisen usw). Alles sauber und auch das Bad war in einem gutem Zustand. Wer ruhiger schlafen möchte, sollte nach einem Zimmer zum Hof - nicht zur Straße raus - fragen. Zimmer sind im ersten OG und nur über eine recht schmale und steile Treppe erreichbar, für ältere Menschen oder bei Gehbehinderungen eventuell hinderlich. Frühstück war ausreichend und ebenfalls gut! Für einen Zwischenstop auf der Rundreise sehr empfehlenswert.

We visited for one night on Easter weekend. The check-in process was nice and easy. Plenty of parking at the property. Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a good pub on site with sports on tv and food served until late evening. Coming from Dublin the prices in the pub were very affordable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee available in the rooms. The beds very big and comfy too. The bathrooms modern and clean. One of the rooms had no window, which took me by surprise, but for one night stay it made no difference to me. There is a bit of natural light coming in through the bathroom door but for a longer stay I would definitely look for a room with a window. The other room had a lovely view of the village. But both rooms were cosy and warm. Breakfast was good with full Irish fare in a form of buffet plus cereal, juices and coffee served by friendly staff. All in all we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Cong village.

The Ryans hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. I need a gluten-free diet and they were obliging with options to choose from. The room was a good size and the bed comfortableone critism is there is no lift

Stayed two nights. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Staff were very friendly. Food in restaurant was tasty and affordable.

Clean, good value hotel. Better than 2 star status. Pub food was excellent and very well priced. Staff welcoming and helpful. Bedroom had no window - relied on small bathroom window for air. Beds were comfortable if a little small.

The whole package was excellent, the room, service, location, evening pub meal, breakfast, the staff. A benchmark for others to take example from. Would thoroughly recommend and would sty here again, well done.

Great location( large rooms, right in the center of Cong. Short walk to the abbey and river, several pubs nearby, including the Crow’s Nest downstairs.

Very friendly staff, comfortable beds and right in the centre of Cong with parking behind the hotel. Great food in Crowe's Nest. Just jump downstairs, it belongs to the hotel is is less crowded than other places. I was there on a Wednesday, there was live music and (as far as I can tell) a nice mixture of locals and tourists. You can really feel that both the hotel and the pub are a family-run place, finest hospitality and there is always time for a short chat.

We were delighted with our stay here. The bedroom wasn’t elaborate, but very comfortable. The barman was a lovely guy. Food was extremely good - the roast beef was delicious! Irish musicians played in the bar during the evening. Breakfast was really nice. We wanted to stay another night but sadly there was no availability. All the staff were brilliant! Cong is a beautiful gem. Don’t miss the stroll to view Ashford Castle. Also the ruined abbey and the new church. It’s beautiful at the bridge and along by the water, and you can find out about the filming of The Quiet Man!
