Large modern chain hotel close to the Olympus Archaeological site Site. Popular with tour groups. The lobby is vast, there is a good sized outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are a good size but for some strange reason all the furniture is very low to the ground so for some of a certain age & height it may be difficult to get up from the bed & chairs. The bathroom has a bath / shower combo which I dislike. The bed is hard and twin mattresses. There is an outdoor balcony. The dining room is huge with tables & chairs all very close and buffet dinner and breakfast was included. The food was very average. The wifi is hopelessly slow and unstable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Es hat ungefähr die Größe eines heimischen Standardzimmers, ein großes Bett, ein einfaches Kinderbett, aber mit drei Personen ist es kein Problem. Das Wasser im Bad ist sehr gut. Das Ambiente beim Abendessen ist besonders schön, es gibt viele Olivenbäume und der Geschmack ist auch sehr gut. Der Gemüsesalat, auf den wir in Griechenland am meisten Appetit haben, ist hier. Das Abendessen ist reichhaltig, wir müssen im Voraus einen Termin vereinbaren, aber es scheint, dass die Chinesen weniger in dieses Hotel kommen. ! Gutes Frühstück, Parkplatz, Schwimmbad.

We stayed at Kronio Hotel during our visit to Olympia. The location is perfect, just a ten-minute walk to the museum and to the archeological site. We came during low season, so there were not many guests. The place is a little older, but good enough. The owner was very kind when he showed us to our room. He prepared a very nice breakfast for us in the morning. We enjoyed out stay and the kind hospitality extended by our host.

Hotel per una notte trovato grazie a Tripadvisor. Ottima accoglienza telefonica per la prenotazione..sono arrivato a tarda sera e ho posteggiato accanto all'hotel. (Olimpia è un villaggio di 1500 abitanti e se si escludono le chiassose comitive di studenti in gita è un posto tranquillissimo). Per la cena consiglio la Taverna Horestes a poche centinaia di metri L'hotel è proprio ”vintage” ovvero l'arredamento, gli infissi e le camere sono fermi agli anni 80.. infissi in legno e arredamento ”spartano” ma funzionale. Bagni piccoli. Riscaldamento con il condizionatore. Colazione ricca e buona. Servizio famigliare Prezzo del tutto veramente competitivo.
