We stayed 3 nights at the hotel. It is nice and clean. Highly recommended in sherbrone.
Only down side poor network reception in the area.

As usual a perfect spring break in the lovely Dorset countryside. Elizabeth and I would like to thank all the staff and Jenny and John for looking after us so smoothly and so well. You are a credit to the hotel and to the travel industry. A perfect break in a perfect place !

The most wonderful hotel. We had a beautiful large room with everything we could have asked for for a luxurious stay. beds are comfy, pillows are fluffy, towelling robes and slippers are wonderful, shower was hot and strong. And the food, truly delicious, the sort of food you want to photo before you eat it, even the breakfast! Garden is pretty and we loved the hotel decorations and all the lovely quirky little details even down to the art deco teaspoons on our room tea tray. The staff are also wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and they are so efficient and courteous. I could go on! We had only booked for one night which we deeply regretted but we will be back. Thank you for a magical experience.

This family run hotel lived up to its expectations. We received a friendly welcome and had a lovely room with a patio door onto the well kept gardens. The excellent breakfast was imaginatively served and we enjoyed other meals - especially the cream tea with local fiz. Great weather and an idyllic location made it a perfect weekend.

This was our third visit to this lovely family run hotel set in a wonderful location . Exceptional food and generally great service but can occasionally lack attention to detail. Bedrooms very good standard with really comfortable beds. Looking forward to our next visit.

A haven of tranquility in rural Dorset. Friendly helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble for them whatever they were doing. We had a large well appointed room with private terrace overlooking the garden. Has a lovely homely ambiance with an excellent kitchen and some useful extras like wellies and maps for muddy walks. Comfortable lounge with log fire. Village traffic gives way to the ducks crossing to the stream! We WILL return.

Accommodation was well appointed and good value. All the staff were professional and friendly. The restaurant offered a varied menu and the presentation and quality of the food was excellent. We have visited the hotel several times and can highly recommend it.

This hotel was set in a very quiet, peaceful location. There were very quirky items on the walls and around about which were fascinating to look at. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. They went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and were happy to accommodate any changes to meals etc. The room was very spacious and clean. The huge bed was very comfortable. Lovely 2 night stay. Thank you.

We stayed at the Grange to attend a nearby family occasion and have stayed there before. The hotel is situated in the lovely small village of Oborne in Dorset, a short distance from the market town of Sherborne. The hotel is a small country house style hotel and is full of character and quirky and we love it. The rooms are individual and well appointed and the staff are really friendly and helpful,nothing is too much trouble to make your stay a great one. The food is good,with breakfasts being especially so,with good choices available. There is a lovely garden for enjoying summer evenings outside and parking is available. All in all,we thoroughly recommend The Grange if you want a break in the country and a taste of village life.
