Having spent considerable time traveling through Germany (much of it in Bavaria), I have pretty clear expectations on Pensions and Hotels. Gästehaus Maxheim was exactly what I hope for when booking accommodations. For a single room, I found it to be large. The bathroom was very nice. Everything was incredibly clean. Breakfast was amazing. The buffet and coffee were exceptionally nice and prepared with great care. The host was incredible friendly and very helpful with questions I had. Parking was excellent too and located right next to the house. I cannot recommend this Pension, especially at this price point, highly enough.
