Antwort der Unterkunft: Firstly we want to take the opportunity to wholly refute this malicious review as fictitious, exaggerated, deceitful and slanderous. We were anticipating a review from this guest following many complaints at pretty much everything during a 24 hour visit with us but what is being portrayed has taken us completely aback. We have CCTV footage with clear audio of all of the encounters between this guest and our various team members throughout all of their engagements. Nothing from our end was untoward. The guest was persistently rude, abusive, deliberately antagonistic and after 24 hours of this, the guest refused to leave the building when asked to do so. At this point the guests stay had ended. To back up the proprietor our ‘scared cleaner’ actually said to the guest that they should leave as requested, she had also witnessed the guests disturbances and at no point was ‘help’ required on the part of the ‘frail’ guest who was shouting and screaming. None of our team members are in any way scared of any other members of the team. We are a friendly bunch and the majority of our team have been with us for many years. The sister of the guest had previously popped in to ‘vet’ that the room was suitable for her brother and booked it on his behalf. Therefore we are sorry that the guest himself did not find the room suitable, but this is outside of our control. On the morning in question, the guest’s sister had phoned us to thank us for their dinner the previous evening, his stay and for looking after them (which we assumed to be a roundabout apology on behalf of the guests behaviour). It is not the norm to receive a phone call such as this. If indeed someone had been “assaulted” on our premises, we would have been the first to encourage them to or call the police ourselves. We have a zero-tolerance policy to any abuse towards our team and therefore we find it abhorrent that this libellous review has been aimed towards us. To sum up, this guest is not welcome back and I can only assume that this is an attempt to damage our reputation as one final hurrah. Even after he has left the building, he is still causing problems.
