Das Zimmer ist neu renoviert, OK. Aber außer Bett, einem unbequemen Stuhl und einem Minitisch - nicht einmal Lektüre zu Bernadette. Das Frühstück besteht aus heißem Wasser und Baguette, der Rest ist billige , verpackte Ware - selbst ein Formule1 ist besser. Ein Hinweis auf ein Hotel fehlt. Man steht vor verschlossenen Türen und muss um Einlass bitten. Kommerz soll an diesem Ort nicht sichtbar sein. Dabei wird über Booking verkauft und die Nacht kostet immerhin 86€. Eine neue Form des Ablasses??

If you are in Nevers for a pilgrimage to visit St. Bernadette, there is no better place to stay than this property. It is the convent where Bernadette lived the final years of her life, and it is her final resting place. The rooms are simple and don't have some of the frills of modern hotels, but that only adds to the "retreat" quality of the experience. The peace, quiet, and beauty of the property are incredibly special.

We stayed in the room with a private bathroom and enjoyed our stay. The room is simple but all you need. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and the food was great. After making a reservation to stay, ensure you email them to book a place for lunch or dinner, because plan according to how many will be dining. Reception closes around 8pm, if not earlier, so ensure you keep this in mind, otherwise you won't be able to get in. There is a car park should you need it.

I just love spending time here in the calm and peace of nevers. It is a wonderful place. It is so safe and everyone is kind and welcoming. My elderly father was able to get a little evening cup of tea thanks to the gentleman working there. Thank you! We were also able to freeze some Ice packs for our ongoing journey thanks to the security man. There was a bit of a mixup checking in but that could happen anywhere! It is basic and you must not be over demanding whilst here! Just enjoy the unique peace of Nevers as Bernadette did!

Rooms were cleaned, bedsheets freshly ironed. Place was quiet and relaxing. Great place to enjoy and just relax

When we arrived after a 7 hour journey, My 81 year old father in law along with my wife and myself were made to virtually argue at check as we were told we had 3 rooms, not two and they wanted payment for the third room, and would NOT accept that we only had 2 rooms booked. Eventually after 30 minutes they printed out the bookings and showed them to me. I pointed out that the third room they were wanting to pay for was dated April 2022, This is now July. Apologies all round, and I paid the City tax for 3 people for 1 night.
Then after we checked out at 09:00 the next morning we were chased down the corridor and told we had to pay the city tax.
Poor show all round for what is a beautiful place that we have visited many times before.
This visit left a VERY POOR taste in my mouth, for what is a beautiful place.
Reception staff need basic training, based on our experience.
