Let's start with the positives. Shower was brilliant The room was reasonably clean; other than epic amounts of dust behind the tv when trying to reinsert the HDMI cable that was loose and wasn't working when I checked-in. Frustrations Not a great start navigating multiple potholes across the car park, didn't get the trip off to a great start/set a good first impression. Annoying that the block of accommodation was separate to the main build in it's own annex. Is there no way to link the two builds? The door which you scan your room key card against for the separate build isn't really secure. It doesn't close behind you...it stays open for almost half a min to a minute before closing - not very safe in the event/risk of any non-guests walking in. With a baby in the cot with a light sleeping bag, we usually set the room temp a little higher than 21 degrees. This was locked and couldn't be adjusted. At Premier Inn Llandudno (Glan-Conwy) & Premier Inn Porthmadog

Quiet location, friendly welcome, a basic but comfortable bedroom and a recently refurbished bathroom followed by a good night's sleep, so this easily passed the value for money test. However, two elements made for disappointment: - the main section of the car park is in dire condition with multiple pot holes which are a hazard for both drivers and for guests walking to their rooms. This is a poor advertisement for the Whitbread brand, with repair urgently needed before there is an accident. - the free wireless internet did not connect. Guests are offered the alternative of Premier Inn's "Ultimate" internet (at £5 for 24 hours), which we declined. This was not our best Premier Inn experience.

Clean and comfortable room - the bed was extremely comfortable with lovely clean white sheets, had a great couple of night's sleep. Bathroom also really clean with a lovely hot and powerful shower. The attached restaurant was spot on, despite being quiet when we arrived late, the kitchen was open and we had a much needed meal after a long journey. Took the meal deal for the following night which included breakfast which was great value for money. The choice on offer for the continental breakfast was brilliant and the cooked breakfast lovely too and set us up for the long drive home. Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Watch out for the two huge potholes in the carpark though.

Most of the usual Premier Inn facilities were satisfactory. However, the quality of maintenance in the car park was very poor with pot holes that could damage suspension if they went unnoticed. The other problem was that this is the second occasion we've visited this hotel, several months apart and, on each occasion, the Wifi has been down. This is doubly inconvenient because the area has poor mobile phone coverage so Wifi calling was impossible.

Rooms are nothing like the photos, toilet didn’t work so had to be moved, creaky stairs had people moving around 2-3am in the morning so the stairs kept us up, noisy and dated AC unit again kept us awake, comfy bed is the only good thing there and it was clean but overall complaints not taken seriously no wifi as advertised and please take my word for it the pub next door that’s connected to the hotel contains miserable and rude staff (older lady with short blond hair was patronising and tables not cleared, food was not worth the price and while being served our waiter was eating a sticky toffee pudding at the bar leaving us waiting for our bill myself and another table had to go to the bar to leave early instead of getting other drinks)

Couldn't have asked for a friendlier welcome. Sarah was happy to help with my special requirements, having recently had surgery. Couldn't fault anything at the hotel. The room is clean. The staff are lovely and they make you feel valued as a guest.

Stayed here the other day for a night, I has a lovely pleasant stay, very friendly and welcoming staff and a clean tidy room and had a good night sleep. Its everything youd expect and want, i dont have a single bad word to say about the hotel. I would and will happily stay here again in the future.

Receptionist couldn’t care less, appalling customer service Massive potholes all over carpark Pub- waited 45 mins for fish and chips which were awful Pub smelt of dirty water Room as you would expect- let down by colleagues and pub, Would notstay again.
