Hotel Padmini NIvas

The property is located on the Mall road which is great. Food was tasty but there were no non-vegetarian options (not mentioned in Agoda etc). The standard rooms where we stayed need heavy repairs like the rest of the property. They also need to sort out the parking scene as vehicles are not allowed on the Mall Road and we had to pay government officials INR 200 for a one way drop. Staff is very friendly courteous.

Excellent stay in all forms. Rooms are little small but comfortable and very very clean. Food was excellent - had lunch , dinner as well as breakfast too. Staff is very hospitable and very warm and connect with you like a family and help you in all circumstances. Overall a great stay . The location of Padmini niwas is bang on the Mall road which is really an excellent location with excellent view of Dehradun valley.

Padmini Niwas has been a family favourite for years. I have visited several times, with family, friends and solo. I love the quiet lovely vibes and the heritage feels. I usually don’t leave the hotel to wander around in the city because I absolutely enjoy my time in the room, garden and watching the shimmering hills from Padmini Niwas. This is my place in Mussoorie. I’m at home here. Thank you. Never change please.

This is 4th time I visited Padmini Niwas. They have best location and then also serenity and calm. This Hotel is maintained well and is having old British charm as well. Hotel staff is courteous and makes sure your stay is comfortable. We are vegetarian and their restaurant Suruchi serves very delicious food. I will recommend this hotel to all who are visiting with their family. They will enjoy every day they spend here.

The ambience at Padmini Niwas is absolutely amazing. The serene greenery that they have maintained is beautiful. Food is all freshly prepared and good. Staff is courteous and well behaved. Rooms sizes are good. Overall a great place to stay.

Lovely property in middle of Mall road. Great view of doon valley and superb place to sit outside . Rooms were spacious . Service was good, so was good quality. A true heritage property. My 2nd stay in 2yrs. Will surely stay again on my next visit.

It has an old world charm and most beautiful views. Food is exceptionally delicious. And quite reasonably priced too. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. We would indeed like to go there again. It was a very nice experience staying there

Fabulous stay!!!! amazing staff n super food...wld visit soon just for the hotel stay...❤️ Hotel location is also so good...on mall road...that makes it even btr...since we were with so ***y kids, approachable staff made our stay very smooth.

Location, people, property, food etc etc.... everything was good about this place, it is directly accessible from the Mall rd so for walkers this shouldn't be a problem at all, however, if u have snr ctzns with you it can he a challenge, however, the staff here is so helpful that they won't let you feel the pinch. For my parents they provided their vehicle for drop n pick from the Mall Road whenever it was available. If the car wasn't available, the staff helped us with their two wheeler. This place ha s a very positive feel to it, doesn't feel like regular commercial hotels, you gotta stay here to experience this. I think credit goes to the Owner this hospitality n warmth trickles down from there. Food served is fresh n delicious. Each and every staff member is very friendly n helpful. We stayed in the main building, which houses the restaurant n the reception, the rooms here could do with a little upkeep and a little redo of the furnishing would make the experience even better.
