Hier ist Jonny! … Sehr seltsamer Ort … Frühstück serviert, aber viel zu früh vorbei. Labyrinthartiges Design … Komm nicht wieder.

In meinem Zimmer roch es stark nach Schweißfüßen, der Geruch kam vom Teppich, der sich klebrig anfühlte und auf dem sich allerlei Unrat und Ähnliches befand. Er war nach den letzten Gästen definitiv nicht gesaugt worden. Alte Seife auf der fleckigen Badewanne. Ich werde nicht weiter darauf eingehen. Das Zimmer war schmutzig. Im Zimmer nebenan war ein Hund, der jedes Mal bellte, wenn ich mich bewegte. Ich checkte nach einer Nacht aus und suchte mir ein anderes Hotel, weil es so schlimm war. Ich wäre die erste Nacht nicht geblieben, aber ich kam zu spät und war zu müde, um mir ein anderes Hotel zu suchen. Es ist das dreckigste Hotel, in dem ich je übernachtet habe. Und warum sind Hunde in Hotelzimmern von Leuten erlaubt, die nicht in Zimmern schlafen wollen, in denen Hunde geschlafen haben? Von Peter Richardson

Hotel was okay but trip advertise that the dog pet Free is Free but when you get to Hotel, it’s £15 a night, which isn’t hotels fault.it is trip who are false the advertising that pet fee is free when it isn’t at the Hotel, we’re good given us it for free. The guy Reception was lovely. The room was okay and comfy. We really enjoyrd our stay x

Rooms are okay but really bad breakfast service. I paid £10 for the breakfast service and all I got was bread and jam. Even the coffee machine was broken.

Avoid avoid avoid. Chaotic check in. Rooms not particularly clean. No toilet roll in room.

Hotel was tired Quite alot of stairs to our room but a lift if you walked quite a long way along the corridor to the lift from reception and another long walk once on your floor to you room, as i had to use a crutch this was not ideal and trying. Breakfast was included but you either had to walk outside via fire escape door down steps to small paved area or through several reception rooms set up for weddings, a lift once at the end of the last reception room was available. If a wedding was on you would have to go outside which is fine if not raining etc. Breakfast was buffet with several selections including fruit and yogurt, coffee or tea, juices & cereal. Sausages had not really seen the frying pan or oven and could have been cooked giving a colour! Buffet style evening meal on offer for £15 each, if you are happy with simple cafe style food its fine. Also offered soup with roll and salad which was good, and selections of cake. Luckily we got there early but any later we would have struggled as a large coach party arrived. Small cosy bar area Room was basic but clean, could have done with modern day USB points etc. Small fridge also in the room. would stay again if the price was as competitive as this time but any dearer they would need to modernize and look at the layout as doesnt flow. Good parking if no wedding guests. Seems an outside area for the summer.

We recently stayed at the Adamtom Country House Hotel for one night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It’s also conveniently close to nearby attractions, making it a great base for exploring the region. Overall, our stay at Adamtom Country House Hotel was delightful. With cozy rooms, great service, and a lovely location, it’s a place we’d happily recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable countryside getaway. We’d definitely love to return for a longer stay next time!

Couldn’t organise a p*** up in a brewery!!!!! Arrived 2.55pm and was told we can’t check in till 3pm. I asked for a room close to reception because of mobility issues. They gave us a room as far away from reception as you could get. Rooms weren’t ready. Staff shouting at each other across reception. As we walked down corridor all room doors were open and in the process of being stripped. Dirty laundry across all the hall. The staff entrance door was constantly being slammed. Room was roasting hot. Window had restricted opening.  None of the furniture matched.  Would not stay here again even if it was free!!!

Lovely place and surroundings. Good for dog walks. Rooms dated but clean. Good for an overnight.

I booked for two nights but unfortunately I had to leave after the first night due to a family matter. When my son and I arrived we were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Robert, he was very friendly and chatted to me and my son for a bit. The place is beautiful. I definitely will go back at some point. My only criticism; when I was leaving there was no one at reception, I hung around for about 10 mins and ended up leaving my key at the desk.

Nice place for a quiet getaway

Very positive experience, spent a few nights. Will be happy to return. Strongly recommend.

We have been coming here for 8 years 10 x a year It comfortable .clean value for money The breakfast are very good as is Evening meals it has a bar There is entertainment some nights If you lucky bingo You can bring your dog it's great it's in it own grounds So walking dog is good Free parking Staff are very friendly and polite Robert who is in reception will go the extra mile for you Ask him for advice he is always happy to help You can order takeaway food Taxi Go in to preswick Town great place with a witherspoon pub 5 min drive Peter
