The Westin Milwaukee

They didn’t have our room ready until an hour and a half after check in. Air conditioning was broken and even after they came to fix it the room was boiling. Pillows were horrible.

Beautiful hotel with excellent gym equipment. Felt very safe, quiet. Breakfast at Stella was incredible. Housekeeping super accommodating and friendly.

Beautiful hotel, great restaurant, close to the highway and worth the price!

The hotel lobby and the rooms are beautiful. The Guest Service Specialists and Concierge were delighful! The bar staff and waiter we had were cold and indifferent. The restaurant has a nice esthetic; the food was good, not great. Overall, it's the people that make it for me and the people at Stella VanBuren have some work to do...

Perfect location and very comfortable stay. Everyone friendly and accommodating

I was very disappointed with housekeeping. They didn't take out the trash or take out dirtly glasses.

The lobby and common areas are beautiful. Our check-in experience was great. Our experience at the bar was very good and the bartenders were very attentive. Everything else was horrendous. Our guest room floor smelled of cigarette smoke. The wallpaper in our guestroom was starting to peel off the wall at nearly every seam. The wallpaper was literally peeling off the wall on the bathroom. The ceiling was peeling off in the bathroom. The shower is poorly designed. The shower door handle lines up with the faucet, which makes the shower at least 4-5” narrower where you stand to be under the running water. Housekeeping did not check the soap dispensers in the shower and the body wash was empty. Housekeeping does not remove the drain cover to clean the actual shower drain. This caused our shower to back up and the drain cover to pop off and float on the shower. This revealed the very grossly clogged shower drain. It took over 45 minutes to have maintenance fix the drain and housekeeping clean the shower. maintenance did respond on a timely manner, but it took numerous calls, asking several housekeepers in the hallway, etc. to have someone come clean the shower so that we could use it. When a housekeeper did come to clean the shower, she d didn’t know how to turn the shower on. This delayed me from being able to get ready and ruined my morning plans. Everything was comfortable and the people working were very friendly and welcoming. We walked everywhere and liked the proximity to the Third Ward and MSOE.

Beautiful hotel close to everything. Walkable. Rentable bikes just outside. Can't wait to come back.
