Wirklich schönes Hotel - die Angestellten waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit und die Zimmer waren geräumig. Es gibt einen großartigen Turndown-Service. Sie erhalten auch kostenlosen Zugang zu ihrem kleinen Spa (es hat eine Sauna, eine Eisdusche und ein Bad). Das einzige, was ich ändern würde, sind die 45 Dollar pro Person für das Frühstück - wir haben das wegen des Preises nicht probiert. Snacks und Getränke konnte man allerdings auf dem Rooftop bekommen - was echt cool war!

Ich bestellte fantastische Club-Sandwitchs, sehr empfehlenswert, und ein toller Tiramisus. Über die Qualität der Pflegeprodukte hinaus ist der Kontext des Restaurants wunderschön, in einem wunderschönen und sehr raffinierten Boutique-Hotel. Ein ausgezeichnetes Hotel mit sehr gutem Service. Wir kamen früh an und das Zimmer war für uns bereit. Zimmer war schön und sauber. Mit dem Hotelshuttle ist es einfach, sich fortzubewegen. Concierge war hilfsbereit. Fahrpläne wurden für uns ausgedruckt, damit wir bequem zum Comer See reisen können. Wunderbarer Aufenthalt und ich bin mir sicher, dass wir wiederkommen werden, wenn wir wieder nach Mailand kommen.

It is very true that a picture and an image tell their own powerful story! When my husband Guy and I arrived back at the Westin Hotel from Florence, Guy got down on the floor of the hotel reception on both knees to offer a prayer of thanks to Riccardo, the Head Concierge of the Magical Concierge Team. This is how grateful and delighted we were with the services of the Concierge team of Riccardo, Andrea and Silvia. Riccardo was unphased by us not having made Porter reservations for the Railway station. He said he would find a way to help for us with our large luggage. The combination of Riccardo’s skills and connections achieved a mini miracle; our taxi driver to Milan station had been briefed on how to secure porter assistance and the plan was executed with military precision. A young man appeared from nowhere to provide this assistance. This type of service can only be achieved by a Magical Concierge Team. Riccardo, Andrea and Silvia also scored perfection on our return journey from Florence to Milan. As the train arrived at Milan Central, Porter Andrea was holding up a sign with my name on it with the universal thumbs up signal. Watching this Porter lift two suitcases weighing around 20 kilos each from the overhead baggage rack as though they were a feather, was astonishing. Between them Porter Andrea and Mario, the driver of the chauffeur service ensured a seamless arrival back at the Westin. We recommend this Concierge team without any hesitation as the best.

After doing some research on Bonvoy group property in Milan, we decided to try the luxury collection Excelsior Hotel Gallia, base on the positive reviews from website. Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. We made our reservation through using points and cash and reserved a lovely suite room which seemed to be nice from the website. Being Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, we were being upgraded to a better ”suite” ? As in usual case.. Well....however we were in deep shock with the horrible condition of room 644. It was a super long suite room with chairs, table and cabinet in the living room which doesn't coordinate with each other, everything just didn't seem right. Most of the furnitures were tired and worn out. The water kettle was chipped and stained that we had to call to replace for another kettle immediately. The safe deposit box missing of the placemat layer that we had to line it with small towel in order to keep our watches and jewellery in it. This room must have been over abused by previous guests? We strongly think it is not ready to be sold to any guests, not to mention supposed to be a good gesture for upgrading their loyalty member on a special occasion, it was my birthday. The only plus about the room was the steam bath function in the shower room, only later that we found out our original Atelier Suite we desired has the same function. 🤔 We shared our concerns to the front desk after 3 nights stay, and told them we would like to stay at our original suite that we booked when we return from Venice 3 days after. The suite on the last 3 days in Milan was perfect, well maintained with lots of tall windows that could be opened in the morning. It's so European! And we love it. Since our feedbacks regarding the upgraded suite fell on deaf ears. We decided to share our dissatisfaction here. On my usual reviews, I seldom hang a price tag on it, but for using 60K-80K points + 600 Euro per night for total of 6 nights stay, I think we deserve a better treatment than this? At least the higher management team should reach out to us? Hospitality team has been not quite welcoming during our stay, especially front desk team. Our departure flight was late at night and Emirates Chauffeur pick up was scheduled at 7pm. We asked front desk if we could extend another hour or 2, so we could go out have a quick bite before checking out, again our dear cold front desk told us it's impossible to extend the check out time unless we pay for the difference? Wow... After using total of 419K points plus 3600 Euro for staying 6 nights, all we got is to rob us more, being inconsiderate, and all robotic lines (respond) to their guests? We had such marvelous stay after horrible Excelsior this month of May at JW Venice Resort and Spa, JW Marquis Dubai and Biltmore Mayfair London. Especially Biltmore London, eventhough we're not in their loyalty programme, we were able to check in to our one king bed suite room as early as 9am and extend check out time til

We both liked this hotel. Italian hotels can be variable and hotel near stations especially so. However the San Guido was fine. We received a friendly welcome from the person on reception and were pleasantly surprised by our room, which was quite spacious, with a separate hall and a large bathroom. The furniture and fittings were charmingly old fashioned. My wife was particularly taken with the light fittings on the landing. A tram line runs in front of the hotel and you could hear the trams rumbling by but it wasn’t loud enough to be disturbing. Breakfast was included and it was fine. We had a problem finding the hotel when walking from the nearby station. Google recommended leaving by a side door and walking through a car park. However, even if we could have found that exit, it didn’t seem a wise route to choose in the dark. We left by the main entrance and it took a while for Siri to figure out our best route to the hotel. The good news is we found a row of nearby restaurants where we later ate dinner.

Das Hotel liegt im Chinatown, nordwestlich des Hauptbahnhofes. zu Fuß etwa 2 km entfernt. Das quirlige Viertel hat zahlreiche Boutiquen und Läden und ist dennoch zentral gelegen mit S-Bahn/Bus und Metronom. Das Hotel ist an sich sauber und gepflegt , in unserem Zimmer (zweibettzimmer) ist ein Sofa, Schrank, TV, diverse Ablagen und Badezimmer mit Badewanne.Die Fenster sind nicht gut isoliert, so dass der Lärm gut hörbar ist von draußen. Das Zimmer ist mit Teppichboden verlegt, welches vielleicht vorab als Information wichtig gewesen wäre für Allergiker. Das Frühstück ist Buffet, in der Woche reichen die zwei Zimmer in der Lobby gut aus . am Wochenende ist es deutlich voller, für das Personal ordentlich am rotieren. Die Rezeption ist dauerhaft besetzt und willig jegliche Beanstandungen zu bearbeiten. Der Zimmerservice ist pünktlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Ein Wasserkocher ist auf dem Zimmer, und eine Art Bügelbrett. Ich hätte mir persönlich einen Stuhl gewünscht und Fenster, die man öffnen kann. Ein Mülleimer ist nur im Bad zu finden.
