Excellent small hotel near Venice Mestre. Staff goes out of the way to welcome and help you. Highly recommended

They offer inexpensive parking. The breakfast is really good. The bus stop to get into Venice is only a block away. They also sell bus tickets at the hotel front desk and give advice of how to navigate Venice and restaurant recommendations. This was very convenient. Will definitely recommend this place to stay when visiting Venice.

From friendliness to great breakfast to immaculate Tina and common areas, this is a great hotel. And nicely decorated. Location near train is good too. Rooms are adequate with large bathroom for international travelers. Americans the first time out of their insular country will find the bedroom small, bathroom quite adequate. I will not rate eco friendliness as I consider it a false, trendy, elite, now trite crock of posturing nonsense. Pollution, while it should be minimized to an economic extent is what we who are not rich hypocrites or lying hypocrite legacy "journalists" is what has given us, the middle class and liver lower regal lifestyles compared to what lying hypocrites in the eco-movement would have for us.

The property is an unexpected gem at that location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and spotless place. Highly recommend it.

Great place to stay outside of the main city, convenient options for bus and train transport to venice. Lot’s of mosquitos in September so definitely bring bug spray.

Well located, a short walk from Mestre Station. Small clean quiet hotel. The lady who checked us in, Anna, is exceptionally helpful. All of the staff are friendly. I had asked for a quiet room, at the back. I did this for all four of the hotels on this trip. Hotel Cris was the only one which delivered. Four nights - not a sound! Our room and bathroom were both spotlessly clean. The shower cubicle is small. The AC was very good. WiFi was fine. There was a safe in the room, but no fridge. Breakfast is good and the double espressos were the best of the four hotels which we visited. Anna recommended Lupo Nero. We had an enjoyable meal there the night we arrived. But her second recommendation, Dante, was exceptional. We had the two best meals of this trip there. You can buy bus and vaporetto tickets at the hotel. The #2 bus stops just around the corner from the hotel. Good frequency and 20 minutes to Venice. But be aware the busses are often very crowded. The bus station, for the 20 minute bus to Marco Polo airport is max. 10 minutes from the hotel. We will definitely stay at Hotel Cris again.

Hotel Cris, was located a 5 min walk from Venice Mestre train station. The hotel was very clean and staff on reception friendly and helpful. You can get the number 75 from nearby that goes direct to Venice. Would definitely stay here again
