This hotel no Elevator... so u be carrying everything you brought upstairs to ur room the breakfast sucks cold food like cereal toast u have toast urself the hallways smells badly like Body order when we hot thete found out the pool is CLOSED TOL HEALTH DEPARTMENT OPENS BAK UP...I WILL NEVER STAY AT THKS HOTEL AGAIN LESSON LEARNED

Hotel is basic, Rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was not clean, Towels were torn and not in good condition. Just for sleeping can be considered if you are low on budget.

The room was very nice and pretty clean. I think it was all in all a pretty good stay. I wish the pool was working but for the price you couldn't beat it.

DO NOT BOOK! I booked this hotel on the way (we’re about an hour away). When I linked to maps it said permanently closed. I called 15 times and it went to voicemail mail every time. I booked another to ensure a room since I’m traveling with 3 kids (including 2 year old twins). They refused to refund me even though they literally have renovation curtains hanging all over and it looks like it’s going to fall down.

I really had no big issues, it was clean, could use a little touch up paint on the inside of the door frame to the bathroom but that's not a big deal.
I did have to turn up the refrigerator to cool my drinks and when i woke up there was water on the floor. again not a big deal, the also had new refrigerator down stairs so they mat be in the middle of upgrading them. the a/c worked great. The only thing that was kinda bad was the remote did not work on the TV but I was so tired I just went to sleep. (room 201) I would stay there again.

La limpieza en el baño era muy mala;la regadera tenía pelos y cabellos de huéspedes anteriores,ofrecen alberca; pero no tenía agua o no funciona y lo peor te ofrecen desayuno,que tienes que preparar tu mismo.con el área sucia (a procura madrugar porque si no ya no habrá ingredientes para tu desayuno.para mi esto es para calificación 1 de 5.!!!

The place is clean, the staff are very welcoming. The rooms have been updated to planks instead of carpet making it look and feel leaner. We have been to other Day's In locations but this is better. The dining area was clean, but staff was still cleaning it. With this level of staff I recommend the place. It looks like they are updating the place, I hope they keep doing that. The microwave and bathtub are relatively old, I hope it is next in their list. The fridge makes a sound (not horrible but also not quite). Again minor things, but much better than other places. The cleanliness of the place compensates for many issues.

This was my two day trip to Chicago and Gary, IN, so staying here made it the best as well. I loved how safe of an area the property was located. I also loved how there so many eateries, in walking distance of the property. The customer service at the property was grade A quality. The staff made me feel welcome the moment I checked in. The only one thing I didn’t like about the property was a little uncleanliness in my room. There was hair in some places. Other than that one flaw, I do recommend this hotel to people who like a safe property with nearby eateries.

Rooms i'm guessing have been renovated recently and they are nice - new beds, wall coverings, hardwoodish floors. Breakfast area was a mess - no one cleaning it and limited, run down. Lobby fair. You kinda get what you pay for here.
