Not sure why this hotel is so highly rated. Nothing about it is terrible, but the devil is in the details. The Good: - Staff is super friendly, incl. the valet - Rooftop pool and bar are really nice and a great feature - Overall layout of the hotel is charming - Great water pressure and genourous rooms The not so good: - Upon check-in, they tried charging us a 240/day ”resort fee”. After further questioning they said it was optional and would pay for the WiFi and the gym. Not a great business practice, espcially for a 5* hotel - Overall the hotel looks a bit dated and would benefit from some more maintenance - We booked a double room but were given a king room - when they showed us to a double room it was quite dirty - dirt on the linens, bathroom counter wasn't wiped down - so we just made do with the king instead - Beds weren't terrible, but I've slept better Location is a bit off the beaten path. Not bad but is was about a 20-30 walk to the city centre and the nicer restaurants.

Ich war sehr beeindruckt von meinem jüngsten Aufenthalt im Hilton Garden Inn in Merida. Neuer designierter Generalmanager Gerardo Moreno ist das Epitom eines Teamleiters. Seine Gästefreundliche Initiativen wurden während meines Aufenthalts umgesetzt und ich muss bleiben, er ist einer der besten Hotelleiter, mit denen ich jemals mit dem Vergnügen interagiert hatte. Er kümmert sich wirklich um seine Gäste. Eduardo war auch sehr unterstützend während meines Aufenthalts, der mich bei vielen Gelegenheiten unterstützte. Er war schnell und unterstützend, wenn Hilfe benötigt wurde.Die Assoziierte des Front-Desk Daniela war auch mit ihrer Hilfe eine echte Profi und ihr Verhalten war überaus beeindruckend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr vielfältig mit vielen interessanten Optionen, darunter lecker gemacht, um Omelette zu bestellen. Das Restaurantpersonal war während meines Aufenthalts sehr aufmerksam, immer bereit, zu helfen. Ramiro hat eine gute Arbeit mit Raumwartung geleistet, wie ein anderer Associate, der in Sicherheit/allgemeine Hilfe arbeitete. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Merida, nur eine kurze Uberfahrt von allen Attraktionen, die Merida anbieten muss. Eine Reihe von Restaurants und Malls ist nur eine fünf bis zehn Minuten Uberfahrt entfernt. Ich freue mich auf einen weiteren Aufenthalt in diesem gut geleiteten Hotel unter der Führung von Gerardo.

My husband and I stayed two nights at this beautiful hacienda. We appreciated the friendly and courteous service we received from Ricardo at reception. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. The well-maintained grounds are stunning with tropical plants, many walking or biking paths (bikes are supplied for free), two heated pools and a man-made cenote. But it's during the evening that it becomes magical with beautiful lighting throughout the property. If you are looking for a romantic get-away for a special occasion or just because, check out Hacienda Santa Cruz.

This Wyndham in the heart of Merida was overall very nice with a superb staff on hand. A few snafus to mention… I am handicapped and their own ADA rooms are on the fourth floor. Who know whose idea that was! There is one elevator on each side of the hotel, and if the elevator is out, and you are on the fourth floor, you have to take the stairs because there is no connection to the other side of the building. So… of course, on our second day, both elevators were out. We requested that they move us to a room on the 1st floor. When we returned from our day’s activities, all of our stuff was moved to a new room, even though that room was not an ADA room. All good right? Not quite, as we are getting ready to head out that evening, we see a puddle of water in the bathroom…turns out there was a leak from the base of the toilet. The staff once again helped us to move to another room on the first floor. Overall, it’s also a well-kept hotel. But the building is quite old and could use some repairs. We ate at their restaurant only once, and it was not Wyndham quality food. Their brunch is a whopping 350 pesos, which given the food quality, is extremely overpriced. For breakfast, we strongly recommend going to the very nearby Flores Café. The rooms are nice; our first (ADA) room was actually larger than the room we were assigned on the first floor. The best part about the hotel was the staff. Extremely helpful and apologetic about the elevator situation. I give this hotel overall 4 stars; 5 for service; 3 for the ADA situation and 3 for the food.

Das ist das zweite Mal, dass ich hier gehostet habe, denn aufgrund der ersten und der guten Eindrücke, die ich hatte, dexidi5 wiederholen , aber dieses Mal enttäuschen mich, das Hotel hat eine entsetzliche Lage gerade über Bergtour, verfügt über Parkplätze, Aufzug, aber im Gegensatz zu dieser Zeit, dass ich mit Versand zu buchen. Sie kommen an den Ort, ich wurde mehr gezahlt, als die App markierte. Ehrlich gesagt war Suer müde zu beanspruchen, dann gab ich ein Zimmer, das sehr beschädigt war, das Zimmer riecht.. Als Erbrechen hatten die Küken einen Schmetterlingsauch ... Ich bin sehr zerkleinert mit Betten und Aromen, das Bad ist sehr gering, ein Mikro-Alkon lacht, und der Arbeitstisch war selten .... In einem separaten Zimmer entfernt, super geschlossen, und das Licht wurde selbst angezündet und ausgeschaltet ... Der Badewanne (so empfahl dieses Hotel nicht für ältere oder behinderte Menschen). Es war teur, dass der Schrank für den Bademantel ... Dieses Mal exori3nxia5 mich enttäuscht, die super trockene Rezeption, und als sie ausgingen, sagten sie mir, sie würden das Zimmer überprüfen (als ob etwas beschädigt worden wäre ... Wenn es beschädigt war) Sie haben mich vergessen und haben mir nie gewarnt, dass ich gehen konnte... Während nach5 sie andere betreuen, die das Hotel verlassen ... Zum Schluss habe ich. Lassen Sie mich. Das Hotel hat seine Sache, aber dieses Mal hat mich enttäuscht. Ich glaube nicht, dass ich ein 3-mal zurückkehren kann.
