Riad Zahraa Al Ismailia

I spent 5 nights at this lovely riad last December-2022-and I was very impressed.This lovely riad is in the heart of the Medina but only a short walk to the main streets for public transport.The room I was given was very comfortable and serviced daily.Sleep quality was excellent.The food was top class.I really looked forward to breakfast each morning-plenty to eat and beautifully presented.I had dinner there each night and it was superb-very reasonable,beautifully prepared and nicely presented.The staff really make this place stand out.I want to mention the lovely hosts Mohcine and Aziza and also Sanae,Ihind and the very friendly Mohammed.A special thank you to Aziza who took me on a tour of the entire building one morning.A special word of thanks too to Mohammed who helped me with my luggage on the morning I was leaving and to Mohcine who organised transport for me to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss Zerhoun.....This is a top class place,an authentic Moroccan experience with first rate friendly service....Highly recommended...10 out of 10.

Highly recommend. Beautiful riad (restored by owners) with a roof terrace and swimming pool. Rooms and clean and well sized and owners are lovely. Well positioned within the medina to see the sights that Meknes has to offer. Would recommend staying here

Traditional Riad in the medina. Nice old building with a large roof terrace, where you need to fight your way through the washing lines of sheets. Great views from this terrace. Rooms were a bit airless and lacking natural light (common in a Riad). Aircon was noisy. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly. As always in Morocco there was a bit of jiggery-pokery with payment and extras but nothing too bad.

Riad was a little hard to find in the Medina. Breakfast in the morning was great and the people were super nice. They actually helped us get a great cab driver to drive us to the ruins at a very low cost. Both rooms had a good experience and nothing negative to say about this Riad. Coffee in the morning was a highlight.

Stayed here for 2 days, and i gotta say i was amazed by how good the place looked, how friendly and helping the staff were. They went as far as suggesting where to visit, with timings and everything, we shared some of best conversations. I'm so satisfied

Proprio dentro la medina riad pulito ed ordinato la nostra camera grande e confortevole e silenziosa...gentile il ragazzo della reception che ci ha dato tutte le informazioni x la permanenza....buona ed abbondante la colazione....lo consiglio

Quand nous sommes arrivés, le proprietaire a été très gentil et disponible. La chambre est très jolie et propre, tout le Riad a une très belle ambiance. Pour dinêr, le proprietaire nous a raccomandé un restaurant où nous avons mangé très bien. Le pétit-déjeuner était très bon, il y avait du thé, du lait, des “pancakes”, du yaourt, du pain et de la banane. Super!! En plus ils nous ont reservé un taxi privé pour visiter Volubilis et les alenstours. Le meilleur Riad de notre voyage
