The Good Life Mauritius

Amazing eco oasis. Antoine created a beautiul garden and premises. Great service with advices on what to do around Breakfast is top and healthy. The room is great too. The Balinese swimming pool is just incredible. I really recommend to stay in the Good Life Eco Lodge

The Good Life is a really special place. You feel welcome and cozy from the first moment. Antoine and his team are amazing: so nice, TOP service and always in a good mood and with tips for you. Food was delicious as well. 10/10! Rooms were of high quality and ir was cleaned daily.

I loved it here. The town where the hotel is located, is small and quiet. The lodging was lovely, eco-conscious and had a boutique feel. Beach towels, water canteens, pool towels, beach bag - all provided. All was clean and literally everything I needed was there and more. The pool was nice, clean (very warm water - Mauritius is hot!). There was a lovely setting around the pool consisting of trees, flowers and plants - so zen, lots of butterflies and birds. There were sun beds to lay upon. The grounds have several fruit trees and it is just beautiful. The owner, Antoine and the staff were so helpful. Antoine's list of recommendations was incredible. (My favorite tour though was the Seven Waterfalls Tour. Breathtaking and good for those who like to exercise!). The breakfast at The Good Life was incredible - all items were freshly made, all skillfully made on site and with love! On the days when I had to leave early for a tour there was an option to have breakfast left in a communal refrigerator - so I would be fed before the morning activities! It was a nice option! Beware of dawn and dusk in Mauritius, lots of mosquitos! And beware of driving. I think it best to take taxis. Driving on the roads is difficult if you come from the states - it's the opposite side of the road, narrow roads, dogs and people - all walking and dimly lit. Not ideal.

Such a lovely place for having a chill vacation! Loved the people there!! Room was nice, breakfast perfect and everything was clean! We would love to come back 😊 Also Antoine have us so many helpful tips that made our vacation even more beautiful!! Thank you again for that!

Eco Lodge - The Good Life, is a little oasis on the north coast of Maurtius just a few kilometres from the bustle of Grand Baie. Antoine and his team were warm welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay thoroughly relaxing. The lodge is well positioned to explore the northern regions of the island. After a day exploring you can return to the peaceful garden and welcoming pool. The rooms are clean and modern and have air conditioning from 6 pm in the evening until 8 am in the morning. A small bar fridge and overhead fan would compliment the overall comfort of the room. The lodge does provide a common fridge on the property for guests to share. The breakasts are delicious and well presented. Antoine is a 'google' of information regarding the entire island of Maurtius and is a most wonderful host. We had a fantastic stay!

Absolutely beautiful eco resort with gorgeous pool surrounded by nature, birds and dragonflies. Exceptionally helpful and nice staff. Great location an easy bus ride to all the local beaches. Great healthy vegetarian breakfast and lunch options

I would rate it a very good 4.5. The premises are beautiful, the owner make an effort with every aspect of your stay, and breakfast is healthy and delicious. The only two downsides for us were the open bathroom and the very loud aircon facing the bed. Apart from that - The Good Life is an affordable hidden gem in the north of Mauritius.
