Riad Persephone

Very nice stay! Super friendly staff and excellent location for tourism.

I’m giving it a 1 because i had a live wire hanging from above my door that led to me getting shocked when I opened it two days after I mentioned a current of electricity shocking me when I used the sink and bathroom. The room also smelled like poop.

We stayed in Riad Persephone for 4 nights at the end of February. The riad itself has the right vibe that we were looking for in a typical Marrakech Riad. It's a bit rustic shabby chic, no perfect finishes, edges or airs and graces, some areas in need a little attention and care but generally did the job well. The courtyard is decorated with lovely plants and trees, true morrocan style furniture and a lovely breakfast is served here. Great coffee and orange juice, lovely pancakes and jams. The rooftop areas could do with some attention as some spaces are used for storage and could easily be presented more beautifully for a better experience. The standard rooms are small, comfy beds with enough storage for a few days and a rustic bathroom with lovely tilework. Some aspects need updating though like new shower curtains, shower surrounds have a bit of mould and more towels would be useful. The rooms weren't great at keeping out the noise of the city but you're in the centre of marrakech, a stones throw from the main jemaa el fna square so expect this! I brought ear plugs and had no trouble. Overall a lovely stay and perfect location. We felt safe and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Lovely Riad. Friendly hosts and delicious breakfast. Welcomed upon arrival. Very close to some lovely restaurants! Would recommend to others. Room had good functioning air conditioning. Would have given 5/5 if room was a bit more soundproof.

Questo riad è un incubo, non vi fidate delle foto. Nonostante avessimo pagato una cifra superiore alla media, ci è stata assegnata una camera al piano terra. La stanza non superava i 10 mq, il bagno non aveva porta, la doccia era davanti la tazza e senza nessun tipo di paraschizzi. Dal bagno veniva inoltre una puzza di fogna, e fuori dalla stanza era sempre allagato. Colazione pessima, servizio pessimo, scortesi e maleducati. State alla larga, la struttura è vecchissima e priva di manutenzione

Riad molto carino e accogliente e in ottima posizione. Si trova a 2 min a piedi dalla piazza principale della Medina. All’arrivo abbiamo anche pranzato nel cortile della struttura con alberi da frutto, uccellini e una tartaruga che dormiva sotto un tavolo. Il cibo era ottimo e molto abbondante, anche se il nostro volo era in ritardo, ci hanno aspettati fino alle 15 senza problemi. Anche la colazione davvero molto buona, mentre nel giorno in cui dovevamo uscire presto ci hanno dato qualcosa da portare al sacco, davvero molto gentili. La sera e la mattina faceva abbastanza fresco ma in camera c’era il condizionatore con pompa di calore. Unica nota negativa, la nostra stanza un po’ piccolina aveva il bagno comunicante (senza porta) con la camera da letto. Se dovessi tornare a Marrakech, ci tornerei molto volentieri.

Excelente alojamiento, con todo detalle y una terraza increíble. Personal súper amable, que nos ayudaron con cualquier duda, a dos pasos de la plaza, se encuentra sin tener que callejear mucho. Desayuno de 10 en su patio interior y una atención genial, repetiría sin duda.

Un très très grand merci à toute l'équipe!!! Un accueil très chaleureux, bienveillant et très discret, aux petits soins!!! très présents quand on en a besoin!!! Nous nous sommes régalés!! Tout très bien, tout était parfait!! Un super Riad très bien entretenu et magique!! Belle vue sur la Place Jemaa-el Fna!!! Merci à Soufiane pour sa gentillesse et son sourire!! A la dame qui nous a accueilli où je n'ai malheureusement pas son nom et la dame qui gère les cuisines!!! tous très gentils, adorables!! un très beau souvenir que je garderai précieusement et qui m'ont permis de vivre pleinement la magie de la belle Ville Rouge qu'est Marrakech!!

Súper buen trato y el desayuno increíble la verdad súper recomendable
