We had an excellent stay. Other than a slight hiccup in the coffee served, everything was perfect at the Horizon lounge; foods were all fresh and yummy. Check in staff were very accommodating. All staff right from the hotel lobby up to the room floor and club lounge were smiling eagerly offering assistance. Deluxe Suite was scot-free as it looked newly renovated. My wife delightfully enjoyed the L’ocitane toiletries. Really worth every penny paid in this staycation before 2023 ends. Looking forward to booking a stay again in a Shangrila hotel.

The hotel lobby has a nice christmas decoration. The hotel swimming pool is huge and nice. The only bad thing is that it closed at 9pm, not as stated as 10 pm in the sign.

Front desk staff and wait staff at the club room/lounge were very friendly, attentive to our needs and courteous. Rooms are clean with enough amenities. There were variety of finger foods during cocktail, all yummy. You can ask them to mix simple drinks as well. Breakfast buffet also have a wide variety.

I booked a Deluxe Suite at the Makati Shangri La and the room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately despite the website stating that a DVD player was in the suite there was none as they had apparently upgraded the TV and the new TV did not have a DVD connection and the new TV controls were a nightmare as they do not have a numerical button to change stations. The first night I was unable to change from CNN and the bedroom TV was stuck in menu mode so the next day the technician came to explain the controls and had to call in a colleague to re-programme the TV after which some channels worked but many channels showed an error message that the cable was not plugged in correctly to the set top box so they could not be accessed. Unlike other Horizon Club lounges this hotel did not have a chardonnay for the cocktail hour but a prosecco, viognier and pinot gris none of which I normally enjoy but the shiraz and cabernet sauvignon were acceptable. Likewise the canapes were sp**** and only paired with the white wine and not the red (which a lot of lounges are guilty of). There was a small selection of cocktails available. The lounge staff were very friendly and helpful even on the busy nights bar the first night when I was left waiting for a while to replenish my wine glass.

周邊購物方便，甚至還有葯店，飯館眾多，國際大牌林立，還有超市。比較安全。酒店二樓中餐廳很贊味道好，價格不貴，有個中國女經理熱情周到，賓至如歸。

氣派、高品質的硬件，配得上香格里拉品牌。設施有些陳舊，所能換新則更上一層樓。地段優越，去哪裡都很方便。
