Sehr gute Lage, wenn man in Stadtteil Salamanca wohnen möchte. Nach dem Umbau und Übernahme durch Rosewood ist allerdings viel vom vorherigen Charme und spanischen Grandezza verloren gegangen. Zimmer ok, zum Empfang nicht wie vorher eine Flasche Wein oder Sherry und ein Obstkorb, sondern 3 mickrige Mandarinen, die schon bessere Tage gesehen haben. Mangelhafte Klimatisierung, wenn man es wärmer haben will, ist man auf laute Klimaanlage angewiesen. Umständliche Lichtschalter,es war mir- als technisch leidlich begabter Mensch-nicht möglich,Licht im Vorraum anzumachen, ohne volle Beleuchtung im Hauptraum. Im Ankleidebereich und in den Schränken kein grosser Spiegel,obwohl genug Platz dafür wäre. Badezimmer ok, keine Fussbodenheizung,keine Musikmöglichkeit. Ganz normale Toilette ohne Dusch-Funktion, kein Bidet, keine Klobürste.... Das Frühstück ist absolut unterdurchschnittlich hinsichtlich Auswahl und Qualität, sowohl im Roomservice als auch im Restaurant, wo es kein Büfett gibt, sondern nur eine etwas holprige Bedienung, dafür kostet es über 50€. Die Bar ist ok, allerdings bin ich es inSpanien nicht gewohnt, dass die Drinks mit Messbecher ausgeschenkt werden.... Dies alles mag als Jammern auf hohem Niveau bezeichnet werden, man sollte aber nicht vergessen, dass ein gutes Zimmer mittlerweile fast 1000€ am Tag kostet,da erwarte ich einfach mehr. Ich werde jedenfalls in Zukunft auf meinen Reisen die Rosewood-Gruppe eher kritisch betrachten.

Wir haben 2 Nächte in der Villa Magna verbracht und waren begeistert! Das Zimmer war sehr gross, sehr sauber und super schön eingerichtet. Das Bett ist riesig und unglaublich bequem. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zudem liegt das Hotel extrem zentral, was sehr praktisch war.

Great location just be sure to bring comfortable shoes. We walked a lot. Back to the hotel. We befriended two of the bar tenders that worked at the Tarde.o classic bar. This was special. They went out of their way to make our short trip very special. The room was very comfortable. Loved the firm mattress. The Gym has a pretty darn good setup of free weights. I prefer free weights to machines. The concierge staff assisted us with each day. The Rosewood breakfast is big enough to share with your spouse or friend. I would suggest ordering only one. We were in a corner room on the third floor. Sound proofing wasn't that bad. There we're a lot of children (holidays) so just be careful you don't run into one:)

Amazing hotel from staff to room cleaners to vibes to food this is my second time here in this hotel and let assure you you will never change to another hotel when you will experience this is by far the best hotel in Madrid and the Christmas vibes was just amazing I would like to also mention Farah an amazing helpful staff at the hotel

Nicely located in a residential area with embassies and a department store nearby. Cute small spa with jacuzzi, sauna and steam. Excellent breakfast with a nicer vibe on the weekends and served by excellent staff. Actually the human touch in this place is very kind. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed. The attention to the detail is widely visible throughout the hotel.

I stay in this hotel as part of business trip. The trip was company paid so I can't comment on the value. However, all staffs are very polite and nice. Knows English quite well and willing to work with you on your requests. The hotel lack of pool but not a surprise for something like this in the middle of a historical city. My room was the 218 and looking over the street. It is quiet enough and do no feel nosy at all.

The hotel is located in Salamanca district. Nearby there are many boutiques of famous brands. So, if you are going shopping for Madrid, this hotel is a great choice. Despite the rather modest appearance, the inside of the hotel is very elegant. Light and cozy rooms. Wonderful service. Lovely breakfast.

Upon arrival, the team at the door and through out the stay were so welcoming and really accommodating every time. Check in was seamless and straight to the room. Everything was perfect in the room, Housekeep were fantastic every service. Cleanliness 5/5, presentation 5/5, comfort of the room 5/5 F&B - while the drinks and food were great, I found both breakfast service slow, and most notably courtyard service slow and disorganised. This was of course during the peak time as the courtyard was full, but lack of leadership showed in our observation. Empty glassware or flatware not removed, having to hall down staff for more drinks or food, Drinks being forgotten.

Everything was 10/10. The service, aesthetics, if I needed something it was taken care of right away. Breakfast at The restaurant is delicious, Corte inglés is right next door for any of your needs. Rooms are kept clean. Amazing service by all the staff who I enjoyed because they were all so proper, kind and professional. Where would I improve? My bedroom got a little hot in the middle of the night even with the air on.

Stayed at the Rosewood Villa Magna in Madrid for 6 nights on a business conference with some leisure time included. From the outside, the hotel looks like a boring office building but it is superbly decked out inside. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with all the modern fixings. The common areas including outdoor areas are beautiful. You would never know you’re in the fashionable Salamanca neighbourhood. Service is great, the breakfast was amazing and even the bartenders are top notch. I literally have zero to complain about. The day we were leaving, the hotel was swarming with security since Taylor Swift was pulling in for a two concert date in Madrid. If the Rosewood Villa Magna is good enough for Taylor, it should be good enough for me and you!
