We have chosen this hotel for our Autovista Technology Conference 2023 with 130 delegates. All worked perfectly, The organizational team was on top of all activities. Rooms very clean, service excellent l, friendly and supportive. Food for breakfast, lunch and gala dinner was high quality. The plenary room was big enough, a lot of natural light by big windows. All technical equipment and network worked perfectly. I can recommend this hotel for business events and private trips without doubts.

Grossartiges Hotel, super Lage, sehr schönes Zimmer, freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Wir haben 4 Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht und möchten uns sehr herzlich bei Frau Sonia für den netten Aufenthalt bedanken. Ich hatte einen kleinen Unfall und durfte am Tag der Abreise mein Zimmer bis am späten Nachmittag behalten.

Wir haben zwei Doppelbettzimmer reserviert. Das Ergebnis gab uns ein großes Schlafzimmer, ein Doppelbettzimmer, zwei erwachsene Gefährten können nie in einem Bett wohnen. Ich ging zur Rezeption und sagte, dass ich 30 Euro für das andere Zimmer zahlen möchte! Das Hotel muss sich nicht an das Abkommen halten? Das Hotel muss sich nicht an die Buchung halten? Ich hoffe, Trip.com gibt eine Erklärung! Weiteres ist, dass der Servicetafel überhaupt keine chinesische Geschenke hat! Es ist nicht wie Trip.com gesagt, dass es Chinesisch kommunizieren kann! Drittens, nachdem wir das Hotel angekommen sind, das zusätzliche Einlagen von 600 Euro abgeholt wurde, haben wir noch keine Anweisungen! Sehr besorgt!

Das Hotel liegt in einem ehemaligen Palast und wurde mit großem Aufwand und viel Geschmack in modernem Design renoviert. Es liegt inmitten der Altstadt unweit der Gran Via oder dem Plaza de Oriente. Unzählige Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte liegen in Fussweite. Die öffentlichen Bereiche sind sehr schön gestaltet und haben eine hohe Aufenthaltsqualität. Die Restaurants sind beide sehr gut und haben eine tolle Atmosphäre, dies gilt gleichfalls für das gesamte Hotel. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und kann auch im schön gestalteten Innenhof eingenommen werden. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und ansprechend modern und nicht überdesignt gestaltet. Die Bäder sind geräumig und die Betten hervorragend. Die Dachterrasse mit einem kleinen Pool bietet einen traumhaften Blick über Madrid. Alle Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind perfekt geschult, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für uns ist das Palacio de los Duques unser neues Stammhotel in Madrid.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer sehr zentralen Lage am Gran Via (Haupt-Shopping-Straße). Metrostation ist nur wenige Meter entfernt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sind ziemlich groß. Es gibt auch eine nette Dachbar mit guten Cocktails. Aufgrund der Lage ist das Hotel für einen Wochenende-Reise nach Madrid großartig. Ich würde sicher noch einmal dort bleiben.

We got an awesome room, great location and super Fun pool. It’s super popular with the Instagram crowd and they cater a bit to them. But everyone is super nice and friendly, treated our kids lovingly although they accidentally threw away our baby’s lovie and couldn’t find it later which super sucked. The bathroom flooded because it was so full of hair from previous guests, kind of gross. Got an absolutely terrible night sleep because you can hear every single Thing in the hotel from next door to above you. They seemed to be vacuuming rooms at 1:00AM above us and moving furniture which was super loud. Food was great, service was excellent but alot of snotty people.

Like in other reviews, the main pro about this hotel is location. Very convenient for metro and bus access, and within reasonable walking distance to the Palacio Real. However, that’s about the only reason to book this hotel. The Front Desk staff was rude, unaccommodating, and just plain wrong. He insisted that the room was not suitable for two when the booking and rate type, both in my confirmation email and in the IHG app, clearly showed “SLEEPS 2.” When I asked if it’s a twin bed in the room, he said no it’s a queen. So I asked what’s the problem then? As we were getting our keys he then said by the way breakfast would normally be for one but in this case I give you guys the second breakfast free. As if he were trying to come across as doing us a favor, when I know for a fact that the rate I booked included breakfast for up to two guests. Our best guess is this person was ********** (it was myself and my ******** partner) and couldn’t stand the idea of us being in this room together. This is also all without so much as even acknowledging my loyalty (Gold) with IHG. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses with considerably more welcoming staff than this man (won’t name him by name unless IHG reaches out) displayed at this property. Stay at this property for the location but don’t pay anything more than 60€ per night. Anything more than that is a rip off. And don’t expect to be given a warm welcome by this particular front desk person. There was another person - a woman - working the front desk but our interactions with her were unfortunately limited. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we had been welcomed by her as she was considerably more pleasant.

Ich kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen, für mich hat alles gepasst. Der Service (Rezeption) ist 1A, da gibt es absolut nichts was mir nicht gefallen hätte. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer kann man sicherlich mal erneuern, aber auch die jetzige Ausstattung ist in Ordnung und erfüllt Ihren Zweck. Das WLan war hervorragend (so wie in ganz Madrid der Handyempfang perfekt war, sogar in der U-Bahn) Die Lage ist herausragend, direkt an der Gran Via und somit ”mittendrin”. Mein Zimmer (Richtung Hof) war dennoch extrem ruhig. Das Bett war auf jeden fall in Ordnung, ich hatte einen sehr guten Schlaf. Die Bar auf dem Dach ist auf jeden Fall hervorzuheben; natürlich ein wenig teurer, aber für einen gemütlichen Tagesausklang bei entspannter Musik perfekt. Alles in allem von mir 9/10 Punkten (10 wären es gewesen, wenn die Ausstattung des Zimmers modern gewesen wäre und die Gastropreise ein wenig niedriger; dann wäre alles perfekt. Ist nur die Frage, ob immer alles perfekt sein muss ? ;) )

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, im Stadtzentrum können berühmte Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreicht werden. Es wird nicht empfohlen, im Hotel zu frühstücken, es ist nicht kostengünstig, es gibt mehrere chinesische Gerichte in der Nähe, aber Reservierungen müssen im Voraus vorgenommen werden.

Ein schönes modernes Hotel mit heller Einrichtung, wie man es von nh Hotels erwartet, guter Service, angenehme Zimmer und gute Klimatisierung. So geht Hotel :-) Madrid ist einfach zu riesig, um irgendwie von ”zentraler Lage” zu sprechen, denn wenn man von seinem Hotel aus einiges besichtigen und besuchen möchte, muss man sowieso einige Kilometer zurücklegen. Dank der U-Bahn ist dieses überhaupt kein Problem. Das Hotel liegt in der Calle Zurbano und somit günstig, in nur gut 10 Minuten Fußweg erreicht man entlang der ”Nuevos Ministerios” einen riesigen Kaufhauskomplex der Marke ”El Corte Inglés”. Im Gegensatz zu Deutschland scheint das Warenhaus in Spanien noch nicht tot zu sein, das muss man gesehen haben, es ist wirklich gigantisch- und bloß die Lebensmitelabteilung nicht vergessen! Die Zimmer sind hell und freundlich, lasse sich mit den Vorhängen gut abdunkeln, es gibt Designerlampen, sogar einen kleinen Balkon gab es, den ich aber wegen der Bullenhitze nicht nutzen mochte. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls bequem und groß genug mit ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeit. Aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie gab es kein Mehrweggeschirr im Zimmer, Fernbedienung und auch die Duschgel/Shampoofläschchen waren alle in Plastikfolie hygieneversiegelt. Die Rezeptionisten waren kundenorientiert und sehr gut ausgebildet, wegen der Pandemie hatte das Restaurant geschlossen, denn die Kundenfrequenz im Hotel allgemein und im Restaurant wären zu gering, so dass sich ein Betrieb nicht lohnt. Jedoch findet der Hungrige in der Nachbarschaft jede Menge Möglichkeiten sich zu versorgen.

Modernes Zimmer mit einem ziemlich modernen Badezimmer mit einem Trockner, Wäscherei und einem Aufzugsspiegel (die nicht immer vorhanden ist) und komfortablen Betten zum Ruhen Das Zimmer verfügt über einen Minikühlschrank, Fregader, und Küchengeräte wie Teller, Gerichte und andere. Zusätzlich zu einem Sitz mit einer Lampe und einem Fernseher von guter Größe, um sie aus dem Bett zu sehen. Es verfügt auch über eine Mini-Terrasse, die in meinem Fall einen Innenhof gegeben und gerade vor uns waren Fenster von Etageblöcken. Als Stecker hören sich die Lärme viel. Seien Sie im gleichen Korridor, wie in den nebenzimmern. Man hört die Menschen in der Dusche, in dem Zimmer reden oder an die Tür rufen mit dem Stempel oder mit der Hand. Und in dem Zimmer war es kalt, es ging weder Heizung noch Wandstrahl, ich weiß nicht, ob es zentralisiert wird. Das sehr nettes Personal. Und gute Lage, es gibt eine U-Bahnstation in der Nähe und ein wenig mehr entfernte eine von Cercanias. Außerdem verfügt es über Supermärkte in der Nähe und ein englischer Corte

We stayed 6 days/5 night and loved it. Our room was kept clean. The kitchen's tiny but we never cooked. Muralto's location is very good, since it's a 3-minute walk to Arguelles bus and subway stations. Madrid runs a blue bus #001 specifically for tourists that's absolutely FREE and it conveniently stops at Arguelles. It runs from Atocha to Moncloa and back several times a day. Important to know to get in the first door and wait for the driver to give you a ticket --- I assume it's to count how many people actually use the Free service. El Corte Ingles (huge department store chain), Zara, BM Supermarket, Lidl, Carrefour, Alcampo supermarket and Mercadona are nearby. Plaza de Espana and Templo de Debod are also walkable. I attached pictures of the breakfast buffet. There's enough food choices to start your day. Note: tap water is drinkable here. Special thanks to Alicia Lucas and Roberto at the front desk.

The location of the Hotel Princesa Plaza was excellently situated for viewing main attractions in the city, especially since there was a metro stop right by the hotel and various bus stops. Travelling by bus and metro is very straight forward, buses accept credit card payments and in the metro you can purchase a travel card from a machine which can be read in English. This card can be topped up using a credit card for any journeys needed and the metro lines operate like underground systems anywhere, making sure you get on the correct line. It was also easy to walk a short distance to many of the attractions and the weather was warm and dry during our stay. The Spring or Autumn are the most comfortable months to visit Madrid weather wise as temperatures are around 25 degrees centigrade and evenings are great for eating outside in the Al fresco cafe culture. I believe winter months can be cold and the summer temperatures are very hot. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful, many of them speak English very well and can give useful advice. The breakfast buffet is substantial and I would recommend paying for this when booking a room to save having to pay separately and sign a receipt each time we ate, as we had to do. The bedroom was spacious with two large beds which were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well and the room temperature was lovely. The bathroom facilites were excellent with two sinks which gave my wife and I one each to use. There was a double headed shower and a bath with hot water swiftly available. There is a mini fridge and a safe in the room too. There is a restaurant on the ground floor which has various seating areas, including an outside area which is set back from the main street although this does mean it doesn’t really have a view. There is a swimming pool and fitness centre accessible to hotel guests but run separately to the hotel and my only real complaint of the place is that the hours for which guests could go swimming were rather limited. There is an underground, secure car park at the hotel which was very useful. There is also a large shopping centre next door to the hotel, and the car park is also for the shopping centre, although the hotel part is separated off with an electric gate. The shopping centre has a very well stocked supermarket which is very useful for buying any food or drink you may want during trips around the city. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Madrid and I look forward to going back there again myself.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, genau gegenüber der Principe Pio Station, der Zug geht direkt zum Flughafen. oberhalb der Station ist ein Mall mit schnellen Restaurants und das Stadtzentrum ist in der Gehstrecke. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber und das Personal war ziemlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück wird in einem nahe gelegenen Restaurant serviert, sie servieren Kaffee und Sie wählen nur eine der 6-7 Wahlen, die sie Ihnen geben. Eine ziemlich schlechte Erfahrung, sicherlich nicht das zusätzliche Geld wert. WiFi war fast.

Wir waren 1 Woche dort und hatten um ein ruhiges Appartment gebeten. Leider ist gegenüber eine Schule und dort ist ab 8:30Uhr soviel Lärm das trotz geschlossenem Fenster kein auszuhalten war. Im Haus selber Schließen die Zimmertüren alleine, dass knallen der Türen kann man so stark hören. Die Zimmer sind gut von der Grösse nur das Bad mit der mini Badewanne ist viel zu klein. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht was für uns eher schlecht war, da es nicht einmal Müsli bzw. Haferlfocken gab. Wenn man Vegetarier ist, findet man ausser das Obst NICHTS !! daher nicht zu empfehlen.

The bathroom facilites were excellent with two sinks which gave my wife and I one each to use. There was a double headed shower and a bath with hot water swiftly available. There is a mini fridge and a safe in the room too. There is a restaurant on the ground floor which has various seating areas, including an outside area which is set back from the main street although this does mean it doesn’t really have a view. There is a swimming pool and fitness centre accessible to hotel guests but run separately to the hotel and my only real complaint of the place is that the hours for which guests could go swimming were rather limited. There is an underground, secure car park at the hotel which was very useful. There is also a large shopping centre next door to the hotel, and the car park is also for the shopping centre, although the hotel part is separated off with an electric gate. The shopping centre has a very well stocked supermarket which is very useful for buying any food or drink you may want during trips around the city. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Madrid and I look forward to going back there again myself.
