Zweifellos, professionelle und charmant Personal, hat viel mit der gebotenen Aufmerksamkeit und Service immer über den Erwartungen geholfen. Die Einrichtungen sind beeindruckend, nichts schöner als der zentrale Patio mit dem kleinen Staudamm und dem Garten, neben dem Bereich des großen gemeinsamen Pools, ¡un 10! Das Frühstück ist von hoher Qualität, vielfältig und bereit, Ihnen ein schärferes Gericht zu bereiten. Es wird empfohlen, mit Wasser und getrockneten Eiern gebrochen, eine große Möglichkeit, den Tag zu beginnen. Das Zimmer, das uns zugewiesen wurde, war eine der besten im Hotel, mit mehreren separaten Räumen und einem privaten Pool. Wir bleiben hier viele weitere Tage. Sie sollten die WiFi-Verbindung in diesem Hotelbereich verbessern, da wir uns in den Tagen, in denen wir waren, kaum ins Zimmer verbinden konnten. Da ich irgendwann arbeiten musste, war das ein Problem, das ich schnell mit einem Hut im Pool vergessen habe. Vielen Dank für die hervorragende Arbeit des gesamten Personals.

Mein Partner und ich hatten im Dezember dieses Jahres eine wunderbare Zeit in Amantaka. Die ganze Stadt hat gerade von der Pandemie zurückgebrochen, so dass ich ein wenig wartete, wenn ich in Luang Prabang dieses Jahr kam. Alles im Resort war jedoch außergewöhnlich, von dem Moment, als wir am Flughafen gegrüßt wurden, bis zu dem Moment, als wir ankommen, und dem Moment, als wir das Resort verlassen. Das Immobilien wurde von einem historischen Gebäude umgewandelt, wurde aber sehr gut gepflegt. Es hat einen klassischen und subtilen Charme und fühlt sich sehr gemütlich und intim. Vergessen Sie nicht, das Badhaus mit einem privaten Pool, Dampfzimmer und Sauna zu verwenden. Danke für die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft und ich werde wieder zurück sein!

When our driver pulled up to the hotel by a rickety bridge over the river, we were a bit nervous as the hotel looks tiny from the outside. What we thought was the hotel was actually the lobby and the hotel is actually quite large and sprawling with buildings and bungalows scattered next to the river. The hotel has a lovely infinity pool by the river with a lounge chairs, beach towels and an affordable pool bar with snacks for sale. The rooms were spacious with large balconies. The toilet was by the front door so you had to exit the WC walk around the corner to the bathroom to wash your hands - sort of a weird set up, but did help in the morning for 2 people to get ready. This was the only hotel we stayed in with dual sinks and a long vanity so excellent for 2 travelers and a big plus! The shower was a walk in so east access. The hotel also has a restaurant where breakfast (included) is served in the morning. Unfortunately it was a buffet with limited options and the food that was supposed to be hot was always cold and unappetizing. The hotel uses tiny candles to try to keep the food warm but this method does not work at all. The hotel no longer has a shuttle to town which is a negative as you need to walk across a scary rickety bridge to get to town. The hotel does not have a gym which is a requirement, in my opinion, if you want to be a 5 star resort. My only other comment to management is to find a few better English speaking employees as we had difficulty communicating with staff. Yes we know we are in Laos and should learn to speak their language but I feel when you cater to tourists you need a few people in each area to speak the universal language for business. We did enjoy our stay and can recommend this hotel to others.

Die Lage selbst ist auch relativ ruhig. Es gibt nicht viele Zimmer im Hotel und die Umgebung ist sehr gut, mit einem Hauch von japanischem Zen. Der Service ist recht zufriedenstellend, nicht besonders enthusiastisch, aber alles kann zeitnah beantwortet werden. Die Ausstattung des Hotelzimmers ist im Allgemeinen ok, aber das Badezimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der Wasserdruck schwankt beim Duschen und das Wasser ist auch sehr langsam. Die Toilettenspülung war zu laut. Das Schlimmste ist, dass wir im angeschlossenen Zimmer des Hotels wohnen und die Schalldämmung fast nicht vorhanden ist. Ich kann normale Gespräche hören, und die Nachbartür war nach zwei Nächten wahnsinnig laut, und die Nachbartür spielte am frühen Morgen der letzten Nacht immer noch laute Musik. Es gibt nicht viele Arten von Frühstück, aber der Geschmack ist gut. Es gibt frisches Obst und frisch gepresste Säfte. Mangos sind wirklich lecker! Ich liebe Mangos so sehr! Auch frisch gekochte Reisnudeln schmecken gut. Es wird jedoch dringend davon abgeraten, von Februar bis April nach Luang Prabang zu kommen.Die Luftqualität ist wie bei einem Vulkanausbruch.Nachdem wir eine Nacht geblieben sind, haben wir uns entschieden, auf den nächsten Pullman zu verzichten und im Voraus wegzufahren.Die ganze Stadt ist gelb, und die Luft riecht nach Kleister. Abgesehen davon ist das Hotel ein gutes Hotel und Luang Prabang ist auch ein sehr gutes Reiseziel.

Wir brauchten ein paar Tage in der Zeit von Covid. Obwohl ich noch nie zu diesem Hotel gewesen war, waren wir zu Luang Prabang viele Male. Das Hotel ist nicht das neueste, aber das Zimmer war groß mit 2 Balkonen und das Badezimmer war sehr geräumig. Wie ich dem Hotelmanager sagte, war der Service ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ging von ihrem Weg, um für meine beiden Kinder und meine Frau und ich eine ruhige und angenehme Zeit zu bieten. Wir essen im Restaurant, das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und das Abendessen war wirklich sehr gut. Ich werde sicher wieder zurückkehren, wenn ich in Luang Prabang bin.

Das ruhige Koalitionshotel in der Wüste ist sehr schön, die Mitte ist die Landschaft des Pools, und neben dem Pool sind mehrere alte Baume gehalten, die einen starken Asylgefühl verleihen. Die Schlüsselwörter sind einfach und elegant und erben die freundliche Atmosphäre, aber es kann mehr junge Menschen zum Preis haben, die sich wählen können. Ich sehe viele Leute, die auch eine herausfordernde Bewertung geben, aber ich möchte sagen, dass kein Hotel absolut perfekt ist. Für mich persönlich sind Urlaubsprodukte, Serviceeinrichtungen perfekt, aber keine übermäßige Service. Ich denke, das ist hier sehr gut gemacht. Adrian Zecha sagte: ”Es gibt nichts, was sich nicht ändert, und man muss sich aktiv für neue Lebensarten einsetzen.” Und wir sollten eine Lebenshaltung haben. Das nächste Mal werden wir die Wahl haben.

The staff were lovely and always greeted you with a smile. The pool area and gardens were well maintained. The rooms were a little dated and although nothing wrong with them I think I would opt to stay in one of the small hotels or villas along the nam khan next time rather than this little extra out of the centre. Breakfast choices were good with a nice non sugary muesli, milk & yoghurt, nice cafe latte and an egg station plus toast, croissants and Asia stir-fry dishes. They had free bikes you could use, although I didn't see any helmets. As noted, for what we paid it was 'ok'.

I've been dreaming of coming to Laos ever since and finally it has come to fruition last Dec 2022 when we had the chance to visit this charming place in particular - Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site and was the former Royal Capital of Laos. With its charming and unique blend of Laotian and French culture and an abundance of natural resources surrounding the city nothing could get better than this. Located on a peninsula between Mekong and Nam Khan river about 1000 m high, it has a cool and pleasant climate especially during the Winter months. And indeed we made the right decision by finally visiting this place. Upon checking which hotel to book there are so many options and locations to choose from - Riverside, Old Town, and Town Center. There were also plenty of affordable hotels to choose from which have Excellent reviews. Affordability is our next criteria when picking the place and luckily there is an offer that day in Agoda for Villa Mahasok which will only cost us 40 SGD per night with breakfast for a Superior room with King bed and Tub. Not to mention, this is just one of the 3 star hotels in town which offers a pool - a draw for us. So we booked it right away and lucky that we did it. As laid back and relaxing it could get Villa Mahasok is the perfect place to stay if you would like to experience a truly authentic Laotian experience. Located at the Town Center, it is 600 m away or about 10 mins walk from Luang Prabang Night Market and the Mekong River but we didn't mind walking around town because it's so charming, beautiful, relaxing and a very pleasant weather really completes the package. There is a never a spot in town where something or someone will surprise you especially for first timers like us. The town. First thing we observed upon entering the hotel lobby is to remove your footwear. There is a shoe compartment on the right side of the hotel entrance. Check-in is simple and easy, they just took my passport, scanned and off we go. The staff assisted us in carrying our bags and we passed through their idyllic open-air courtyard where the lap pool and pool sun loungers are located. There are outdoor seats and tables located at this spot as well ideal for having coffee, beer, reading and just chilling out. At the other side of the pool area there is a short stair made of red tiles which leads you to a couple of elevated rooms located out here facing the garden with a huge and lovely Lotus pond filled with Lotus, Water Lilies and lots of different plants and flower river species in a dazzling show of Green, Pink and White colours. There is also an open-air hammock with cushions for relaxing and resting on the other end of the pond. At the right side of the pond is the dining area where breakfast buffet is served. We booked a Superior Double room with Tub facing the garden from the 2nd floor. I have visited Luang Prabang several times and Elephant Boutique Hotel is always my top choice. The rooms are very comfortable and always incredibly clean. The AC/fan are great and the water is hot and a good pressure. Breakfast is delicious and very good value — lots of coffee, juice, fruit, western or Lao choices. At night, it is quiet and you get a great night’s sleep. Easy to come back later (for bowling…) or leave early in the morning (for the monks etc) if needed. Most importantly, the owners are fantastic. They are very welcoming, trustworthy and honest. They can take care of any request: tours, transport (trains and buses), laundry, money exchange, city tips etc. They have always proved reliable. I would reccomend this place to anyone visiting Luang Prabang — value for money it is fantastic.

Die Lage ist nahe genug zum Nachtmarkt und historische Stadt zu Fuß, aber die kostenlosen Fahrräder sind eine wirklich große Möglichkeit, um etwas mehr zu bewegen. Nous avons acheté nos billets avec lui en toute confiance de Luang Prabang pour Vientiane et arrivé à la gare de train de Luang prabang nous avons eu une belle surprise : l'agent qui contrôle les billet nous a informé que nos billet n'étaient pas valable car le tarif avait été effacé avec un stylo à bille noir (nous n'avons pas fait attention à ce détail lorsqu'il nous a donné les billets) Nous avons donc essayé de contacter le responsable de Thavisouk guest house qui ne répondait plus au téléphone.... Nous avons réalisé alors surplace que le jeune homme de Thavisouk guesthouse nous avait facturé 3 billets de train et c'est pour cette raison qu'il avait effacé les tarifs...donc faites attention !
