A nossa estadia de apenas 1 noite foi arruinada quando serviram um Hambúrguer com carne podre. Após uma viagem pelo sul de Luanda escolhemos este hotel para ficar perto do aeroporto e também por termos experiências positivas com este grupo hoteleiro. Tudo corria bem quando pedimos room service. Foram pedidos 2 hambúrgueres e um deles estava com um cheiro de carne pútrida que seria impossível não reparar na confecção do mesmo. O Staff foi informado e tentaram resolver o problema. Como é possível no hotel mais caro de Luanda os standards serem tão baixos…. Lamentável. Também solicitei um transfer para as 6 da manhã em ponto. Pedi no momento da reserva, enviei e-mails, enviei mensagem pelo Whatsapp do concierge (respondeu 5 dias depois), pedi para quando fiz check in e confirmei no momento do pagamento que teria de ser as 6 da manhã. Foi garantido que o transfer estaria a horas na manhã seguinte. Após todos estes pedidos a verdade é que chegou quase com 30 minutos de atraso.

Mai kamen wir zum Hotel und sie weigerten uns ein Zimmer zu geben, weil sie angeblich am 19. Mai den Vertrag mit ********** beendet hatten. Wir haben für 4-5 Stunden argumentiert, Das Ritz Capital Hotel Management hat sogar eingeräumt, dass sie sehen konnten, dass wir bereits bezahlt haben, aber sie würden uns nicht einen Raum zu bleiben geben. Wir verwendeten zufällige Gäste, um zu übersetzen, die Polizei etc., es half nicht, kein Zimmer. I was ill when I arrived after 30 hours of multiple flights. While I was checking in, Maria Mendes (Rooms Division Manager) met me and offered assistance. She was genuinely concerned and I felt quite comfortable. During my 15-day stay, she periodically checked on me to be sure I was OK. My room was a 3-room suite (1 1/2 bath) with views of the Bay: Large living room with a corner mini-kitchen, a room set up like an office, and a large comfortable bedroom. As I was not well, my colleagues came to my suite instead of me going to their office. So, the suite's office was perfect for 2-3 people with laptops to collaborate. Even though I do not speak Portuguese, I had no problems communicating with the very polite and helpful staff. This hotel has the best gymnasium of any I've seen elsewhere. Next to the gym is a salon and I did get a fine very economic haircut. The morning breakfast buffet has a wide selection of quality food. I ate in that dining room (restaurant) for lunch. The menu as well as wine selection will please anyone. My one ”complaint”? I was not accustomed to the huge serving I was given. Delicious. Often, I ate at the cafe/bar adjacent to the swimming pool. It's less formal than the main dining room and you get the benefit of a refreshing light breeze. The Tropico must be the best hotel in Luanda. I felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I will stay there again, and I will recommend it to friends.

Eine weitere Geschäftsreise nach Angola. Es war nicht die richtige Zeit, in Angola oder irgendwo in Afrika aufgrund der neuen Variante des Virus zu sein, aber die Reise war sehr wichtig und musste mit allen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen reisen. Ich habe mich entschieden, im Hotel President zu bleiben, obwohl es andere Möglichkeiten gab. Da ich zum ersten Mal in diesem Hotel verblieben war, wusste ich nicht, was zu erwarten war, aber ich war angenehmen überrascht. Das Hotel ist alt, aber alle Zimmer sind renoviert, und die Badezimmer mit weißen Marmorfliesen, die den Badezimmern einen hellen airen Blick geben. Das Hotel selbst befindet sich in der Nähe von Luanda Port und die meisten Zimmer vermitteln einen schwebenden Blick auf die Luanda Wasserfront namens ”Marginal”. Schauen Sie sich die Bilder aus meinem Zimmer an. Ich hatte Glück, ein Eckeszimmer zu bekommen, das einen Blick auf die Luanda Bay 180-degree gab. Das Zimmer war klein, aber die Größe des Zimmers wurde mehr als durch die großen Bayfenster kompensiert, die das Zimmer hell und luftig machten. Besonders gut, wenn man in dem Zimmer für 2 Wochen quarantisiert und nicht erlaubt, das Zimmer zu verlassen. Ich war glücklich, nicht in Quarantäne zu sein. Das Badezimmer wurde schön renoviert mit Wand bis Fußboden weiße Marmorfliesen mit großen Fenstern. Eine willkommene Ruhe von den dunklen Baden in einigen der Hotels, die ich geblieben hatte. Leider gab es keine Warmwasserkessel oder Kaffee- und Eisenbahn-Services im Zimmer und es gab keine Eisen-/Eisenbahn-Bord. Ich habe in Hotels geblieben, die keine Eisenbahn-/Eisenbahn-Services hatten, aber Wasserkessel und Kaffee wurden immer bereitgestellt. Ich habe daher einen Stern abgezogen. Die acht Stockwerke bauen die Restaurants und die Bar. Restaurants sind wegen der COVID-Beschränkungen zum Abendessen geschlossen, aber für Frühstück geöffnet. Frühstücksverbreitung ist gut, aber es wird besser, wenn sie mehr Sorten wie geschnitztes Brot und Milch und Getreide hinzufügen können. Servicepersonal sind höflich und sprechen gut Englisch. Zimmer TV hat internationale TV-Kanäle verfügbar und wenn Sie mit etwas Naivität müde sind, kann Ihr Laptop anhocken Netflix beobachten. Insgesamt ein angenehmes Aufenthalt in einem leicht preiswerten Hotel.

Ein zweites Mal zurück. Es war sogar besser, persönlich, effizient und ein einfaches Vergnügen. Management & Personal war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und untergebracht. Eine Familienatmosphäre während geschäftlich-wie und Service für die Geschäftsperson. Die Preise sind hervorragend und Sie erhalten tatsächlich viel mehr Wert für Ihr Geld als andere Hotels in Luanda, die überpreist sind. Liebe das Frühstück auch!
