Coral Los Alisios

Excellent sized clean and tidy apartment with balcony looking out over the pool. Friendly staff, great amenities, gym, shop, pool, tennis court, and plenty of space to lounge around in the sun. Short walk to the shops, bus station and beach.

It is ok for few nights . It is suitable for adults .

Lovely hotel. The lady at the reception was nice. The room was spacious. We had sea and mountain views. Our room was on the end so our balcony wrapped around the side.

Sitio muy tranquilo se puede ir andando a la playa en cinco minutos tienes la estación de autobuses muy cerca por lo que si te apetece puedes desplazarte con bus fácilmente por la isla . Tiene la ventaja de que al estar un poco alejado es muy fácil descansar y dormir sin ruidos si buscas tranquilidad . En cuanto al apartamento es muy amplio y limpio y la terraza es muy amplia y fantástica . Lo único que destacaría negativo es la posibilidad de que a las ocho de la mañana se permita reservar con toallas las hamacas de la piscina pudiendo ver durante horas las mismas vacías pero obviamente ocupadas ... Deberían poner un poco de orden en relación a esto.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning (not ideal) but had warned the hotel in advance. We found ourselves lurking outside a closed reception for at least 40 mins- 1 hour being able to locate no one. We thought at one point that we may have to sleep outside! Thankfully a couple arrived in a taxi after a night out and was able to locate a member of staff for us. The accommodation itself, is adequate- Everything you need for a self accommodating break away. Kettle, toaster, fridge and cooker hob provided. Beds comfortable enough. Towels changed 3 times over the duration of a weeks break. The pool area was a particular bone of contention for us. The pool guard seemed to have little to no control over poor behaviours in the pool. A group of young boys (I’d say 13 years old) taking over more than half of the pool lobbing 3 large balls between themselves and then dive bombing with no consideration for anyone else in the pool. Because of this, we decided to avoid the pool and trundled down to the beach, which is about a 15-20 min walk down hill. Los Cristianos is a lovely area with lots of lovely restaurants. The beach itself is really nice. All in all a good break but not sure we would return to this particular hotel!

I'm not one for writing reviews but in this case I feel I should give an update on room C407 (bedbug infestation) My husband and I were allocated this room on 9th March 2024 and I was less than happy but didn't say anything to the hotel staff until we'd seen the room for ourselves. The first thing I did was check the bed - it looked like a brand new mattress and topper and absolutely no sign of any bedbugs - the apartment was spotless and it's huge. Room is cleaned 5 days a week, bedding changed twice a week and towels changed 3 times - overall we have absolutely no complaints and would return again - hopefully this reassures others who are due to visit.

Cannot find any faults with our stay here,it was brilliant.The rooms were spotlessly clean and the cleaner called every day.Had all the basics you need for a self catering stay.There was a lovely terrace with table and chairs and washing line.The pool area was lovely and well maintained,with activities on most days.There was also comfortable seating areas around the front of the hotel.The pool bar and shop were great for snacks and drinks.All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.Will definitely be returning here.

Between 23rd February and 1st of March 2024 we have been staying at the hotel Coral Los Alisios, Carretera Vieja a Guaza, 38627 Arona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain in room C407. My wife developed progressive bites from bedbugs due to the infestation with bedbugs in our room. I enclose pictures of the insects – bedbugs. Also, I attach pictures with the lesions that my wife suffered. Please take measures, it seems that many other tourists had the same complaint, and the hotel did not take complete action to solve this problem. We spoke with Ana Alonso the receptionist and she treated us like we were inventing this problem. The manager Joao Dunker refused to speak with us pretending to be outside the hotel. Another member of the staff Jose Guzman received our written complaint on 01.03.2024 at 12:40 and agreed to send it to the hotel management. At 15:00 another member of the staff Jesus Canelon agreed before our departure to the airport that he will speak to the manager about the reimbursement of our hotel stay because we had to throw away our belongings in order to prevent infestation of our home. We also informed the local tourism company iTravex about these facts and our tourism company from Romania. All our experience and these problems were also brought to the attention of Healthcare Ministry of Spain, Government of Canary Islands and we will continue being in contact with the authorities till these problems are solved. In these 48 hours the Hotel Coral Los Alisios did not find time to answer our previous email.

Located about 20 walk from beach slightly hilly near the mirador ***** lots of restaurants and bars nearby we arrived at lunch time room and had to wait until 3pm to check in as room was not ready we were located A block on the ground floor apartment was large clean and had a terrace overlooking the pool at one end and a area outside the door with day beds and tables that had sun into the evening room had a small hop fridge and microwave no oven was a little basic but adequate staff were friend did not use the restaurant it was a little expensive and two large supermarkets nearby WiFi was good throughout tv had main English channels and lots to do in area around apartment or stroll down to the centre and taxi back was about 6euro would stay again if price reasonable
