The Z Hotel Soho

Amazing location! Wow, this is what you pay for. Right in the middle of everything! The service team was exceptional! It was my first time in the UK and they went above and beyond to help me navigate. So kind and friendly! The room was extremely tiny. My luggage had to stay in the shower as it’s so tiny in there. No window. Heat and hot water worked very well. Bed was comfortable! Cleaning service did well! The breakfast buffet is not really much of anything if that is how you start your day. Only a few options, more like a snack. Overall I give it a thumbs up, the high rates are for the prime location. Thank you all!

The location of the hotel is very good but the room size is terribly small.

When I went there the room that I booked was ok but the air con was not working and all the remap rooms were full. Of it was winter than that room would have been ok but we went there in the middle of the summer and it was too hot. Being in that room was like sitting in the sauna 🥵. Me and my man were so sad and we didn’t wanted to come back to the room after the walk outside. But the night shift staff and manager was so great. We were really thankful to them, specially to the night manager he understood our condition and arranged a room with the air conditioning. We had a great sleep and experience. It’s in the center and it’s really a great experience and I will recommend my friend too.

Good hotel

Do Not Stay Here under any circumstances. There is a terrible overpowering smell that is overpowering all the rooms in this hotel. The rooms are small and perfect for 1 person. The staff is polite. However there are many major problems with this hotel. Mainly a vomit inducing smell that seems to affect the rooms on floors 1 - 4. Other minor issues faced during my stay included unclean bedding (blood on sheets), no wifi and room keys not working. The staff are kind and trying their best. But the hotel has some major problems that make it a disgusting, unsanitary and unsafe place to stay. Management have been unavailable to assist in helping solve any problems as they have not been onsite. Incredibly disappointed to have to write this as it is in a perfect location.

Having read mixed reviews prior to our stay, we were feeling slightly nervous about staying at the Z Hotel, Soho but there was no need. The staff were really friendly and advised that we could check in early however, the only available rooms when we arrived didn’t have air conditioning due to works being carried out but, if we wanted to wait until the cleaners had finished then we could get a room with air con. The lady in reception took our number to message us when the room was ready and then stored our luggage so that we could go for a walk. Check in was quick and easy, the room was small but had everything we needed including tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer and TV. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of towels. The only thing I would say is the bathroom and toilet facilities could be a bit more private as, the only thing separating the bathroom from the bedroom is a frosted glass window/door. The hotel and our room were both clean and tidy throughout. The location was excellent, with everything right on the doorstep; lots of bars, restaurants, shopping and theatres to choose from. There’s free fruit and chilled water in reception as well as umbrellas if needed as well as a cafe. Also, if you register on the Z Hotel website, you can get discounted rates as well as other special offers. Checkout was a reasonable 11am and again was quick and easy with the added benefit of being able to leave our luggage for the day until we needed to get the train home. We’d definitely stay again.

Orsi and Jason at Z hotel Soho were so kind sorting out my reservation mistake and gave me an amazing room when they didn’t have to. The staff here are really great and the rooms are clean and its location is absolutely amazing - thanks so much for a great stay. I will come back every time I need to stay in London!

Awful nights sleep, (room 203) I've slept better on an air bed in a tent ! The bed is hard, the room tiny, with one small table which has a tray on it, so no room for the towels or a case and an intermittent low rumbling noise throughout the night. Z hotels, not a good first impression of your Soho hotel at all. On the plus side, the staff are professional, and the location is good. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment.
