Hub by Premier InnLondon Goodge Street

You can never go wrong with Premier Inn so I was excited to try the newer Hub version of the chain. Situated just off the Tottenham Court Road (a minute's walk from Goodge Street tube) it is the perfect bolt hole for exploring the city. Ten minute walk to Oxford Street, five minute walk to Soho, ten minute walk to Tottenham Court Road tube and on to Charing Cross Road. It's soundproofed - my room faced out on to Tottenham Court Road and apart from a very occasional, very distant Tube rumble (unavoidable in Central London) my room was silent. The service was excellent - I arrived at 11:30 and was offered an early check-in - with 24/7 complimentary tea and coffee in the first floor lounge. My room was clean and surprisingly large for the Hub concept! (I chose the bigger room option.) The lights etc are controlled by a headboard panel and you have electronically controlled window blinds which really do shut out the light at night. The price was incredible for such a well-placed location (and on a weekend!). My only two very minor ******* (hence the four stars) were that the room was a little worn round the edges, and the king size bed was actually two larger beds put together. Other than that - and these are very minor points - the bed was comfortable, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I would not hesitate to book again.

Was pleasantly surprised by my stay. Staff were helpful and visible. Big plus. Location was great and public transport near by was good. I was alone so room was fine. However I could not have stayed in a standard room with my husband as bed was only accessible from one side. Room was standard. So definitely something to bear in mind. Apparently bigger rooms have bed in middle of the room.

Stayed at this Premier Inn Hub to meet friends and attend an event. Walkable from King’s Cross, St. Pancras and Euston. Booking was easy, as was check in. Room was small but had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly. Price reasonable for central London, I would happily stay here again.

Great location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms and the hotel in general were very clean. Lovely smell as you enter.

Definitely would recommend this hotel! Goodge Street was a great location and we walked to most places from there as only took around 20-30 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go, room was fairly small but I knew it would be and as long as it was clean I didn't mind which it was!

I stayed here for 8 days in total. Just myself on a vacation for the first time in London. I would say the location of this hotel is a good spot. There are lots of places to eat nearby, with many grocery store. You cannot go hungry staying here, food is always available. There is a train station right around the corner but that station is not the best. There are 2 other ones about 5 min and 10 min walk away that have more trains and are better stations. As for the hotel, check in was super easy. There was someone at reception that checked me in, less then 10min. The room itself. It is definelty small compared to most hotels, but it didnt reeally feel small when i settled in. There was enough space to put my clothes and luggage in the stroage places in the room. Bathroom was small but adiquate enough to where i could do what i needed without feeling ****** in. One thing some people may have trouble with is the hot water in the shower. Its a little werid to control the shower knob but you can get really hot water, you just need to turn it to the right direction. Its a little learning curve to it. But there is really hot water available, just need to mess with the knob. There was only one USB plug in my room which was not enough. I would have liked more. Wifi was super fast. No issues with it. Bed was nice but pillows were hard. Would have liked softer ones espically being there 8 days. Made sleeping uncomfortable after a while. The biggest issue i had here was The mini split/ AC provided cold air but i needed hot air becuase it was cold when i visitied. I could not get the room to be hot enough. It was always cold. The bed cover provided some warmth but honestly you need another blanket to keep warm. I would like them to fix the not enough heat issue. I didnt try the breakfest or anything, but i do believe there is free coffee and tea avaiable. There is no fridge in the room. I love entrance system. It quick and fast, you just scan you card and your in the hotel, no need for any interection with reception. I would defintly stay here again if i needed to be here for a specific reason. There is another Premier Inn nearby which I looked at that honestly looked better but even so this hotel was great.

Incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional. Thank you so much for making us feel at home. The offer of drink and their quality is really good. I had a very good time there. The ambient Nd the music is relaxing and allowed a nice break. For sure I will come again

We wanted to have a break while visiting London centre in a busy weekend with beverages and tranquility. The Hub allowed us to stay for a coffee and using the wi-fi. The place has comfy sofas and tables with power sockets. Impressive kindness!
