BeiRoom Hyde Park Apartments

The room was well equipped for two people staying for one night. it was clean and the bed was comfy. The only issue we had was that the drains you n the bathroom were smelly. The gentleman at the hotel reception was very helpful when we called to tell him out train had been delayed and we were worried that we wouldn't be able to get in before reception closed. He was there when we arrived a little after 10pm and was polite and helpful even though we were late.

We were originally booked for 3 nights but had to leave after 1. The rooms are damp smelling but more concerning was the overwhelming smell of raw sewage that seemed to enter our room in wafts. So bad that it woke us up in the night. My son has asthma and he felt it worsening. The window latches are broken so not only can’t you lock them but also can’t keep them open. Electrical fittings were loose , no fire blanket or smoke alarm. We complained to the front desk and the lady told us there was work going on on the roof above our room and maybe the sewage pipe had become ‘unconnected’ despite this they refused to give us a refund. We had to find and pay for another apar**ent last minute.

Location was great and room was clean and comfortable but there’s no lift and it’s a lot of stairs to walk up with heavy luggage

We were on the top floor of the hotel. On entering the room there was a very strong damp smell in the bedroom. This we probably could have put up with but then we kept getting strong wafts of sewage. It was so strong at times it woke us up. My husband and so. Have asthma and it made us really concerned that we shouldn’t be breathing in such strong fumes. We tried to open windows but they were broken, also a security issue there. We complained and the lady on the desk said they were working on the roof above our room and maybe they had dislodged a sewage pipe. We had to leave after 1 night although we were booked for 3. The hotel refused to give us a refund. Please see photos for other issues regarding the room. I really would not recommend staying there for health and safety reasons. No fire blanket, broken window latch, no visible working fire alarm.

Needs updating with decoration but can’t knock it for location (around the corner from Lancaster Gate tube station) bed was okay and they provided everything that was described. We stayed on the 4th floor (yes no lift but was never stated it had a lift) and had a slightly slanted ceiling so meant there was no way to enjoy the shower unless you are 4ft tall.. but it was character building.. Good price would probably stay here again for convenience alone.

Good enough spot for our three night stay. Was a bit of work going on at time of our stay, work being carried out in other rooms, but only during the day. Room was find very basic. The stairs are a bit of a climb but other than that it was good for the price.

Perfect apar**ent! Lovely location, lovely room and comfy room. The only downfall is the masses of stairs but can’t be helped. Would definitely book again!

Very basic a cramped apar**ent but bedding/towels were lovely and clean and nice quality. Reception staff were also very friendly and obliging, they were happy to help by providing an extra duvet for us etc. Great location and fine for the price. We would stay there again.
