Hotel Metropol

Einige Schwierigkeiten, unsere Reservierung zu finden, aber schönes Hotel. Sehr gute Lage, zur Sauberkeit gibt es nichts zu sagen, sehr gutes Frühstück, Terrasse auf der Balkonseite etwas klein.

Went in November as got flights and this hotel very cheap, was a pleasant experience, can't fault anything worth mentioning. Room was decent, and sound insulation wasn't bad. Would be nice if the rooftop pool was deeper maybe

The hotel location is super good, by foot 15 minutes to bus terminal. and next to the town hall. The hotel face to the ocean. The room is beautiful and modern design. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The breakfast and buffet dinner are lots go choice and delicious.The price is also reasonable and acceptable. I am sure will come to stay this hotel again when I visit Lloret de Mar. It is my six time to take holiday in Lloret.

Mini break in the Spanish sun at Metropol/Miramar Hotels B&B Both hotels are situated along the sea front promenade ,with great views from the balcony and roof top terrace and plunge pool, Miramar approximately 4ft deep and more space for sun loungers , ,Metropol has a smaller pool /jacuzzi ,approximately 20 inch deep , and a few sun loungers and deck chairs , making it a more private personal space,, we found that this terrace area is more suitable for adults chill out , quiet ✅ and no blaring music , Both hotels have panoramic views of the sea and mountains , and away from the rowdy bars & hustle of the main Lloret *****, Both hotels offered friendly and helpful service Breakfast was the usual style buffet selection hot /cold /pastries ,fruit ,etc no complaints as we got a budget getaway deal 👍🏼 Plenty of eateries and cafes etc close by A great base to explore Costa Brava coast ,and walk to further beaches and the Castillo ,taxis are reasonably priced also , Buses depart regularly to Girona old town and Barcelona ,and along the coast to Blanes ,tossa de mar etc , The local bus station is a ten minute walk from both hotels 👍🏼

This is a very clean hotel located right in the centre of Lloret de Mar, just metres from the beach and a short walk from the main shopping area and restaurants. The hotel is fairly small and minimalist in decor, with a very small rooftop pool with limited space for sunbathers. The breakfast selection was excellent and the staff were all very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. For its location this hotel is hard to beat, it's very easy to get around and it's located about 15 minutes' walk from the bus station with connections to Barcelona and Girona. We would recommend this hotel as a good, clean, basic and central base for a stay in Lloret de Mar,

I stayed here with my daughter. It was the first time visiting Spain and I can honestly say I would stay here forever. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the staff are the best and always more than happy to help, I will be forever grateful to them for making us feel so welcome. The beds are super comfortable, we slept great. It’s not noisy at all, unless you have the window open. The hotel is in the perfect spot with lots to see and do. I already can’t wait to come back, I really think this will be my home from home!

The hotel was beautiful and well located. Close to the beach and the main ***** aswell as plenty of the local shops. The Hotel itself is well kept. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good storage spaces along with hangers provided. Not many but enough for essential stuff. I went I September, as it was off peak season there was not much noise to keep you up but can often hear doors slamming at night. The rooms can get abit cold so I would recommend asking for extra sheets if necessary. The food was average and not what I expected. There was a selection buffet for the breakfast of hot/cold food, Sweet/savoury snack, refillable hot/cold drinks. For dinner there was still a larger variety of food the only problem I had with it all is that nothing was labelled for allergy or dietary purposes, I constantly had to ask someone what each dish was as they were never what you expected them to be. This made it really difficult to eat as there wasn’t always someone available. Overall I would absolutely stay here again. The location, the room & the service was great and made my holiday that little bit better with their hospitality. There was also a ease to the main pool on the rooftop however small was enough if you wanted to catch abit of sun & also a small gym available to everyone.

this hotel was everything you would expect from a city hotel, the location is perfect with the whole main ***** at your footstep filled with lots of shops and fast food restaurants like KFC, Burger King, and Mcdonald's, the beach is also so beautiful and safe to take a stroll even at night. a small lane around the left side of the hotel takes you into the central higher end shops like Mango and Stradivarius too it's a lovely lane to explore.. even though we went in April there were still so many people around and it was very lively overall. The beds are also very big and so comfy the rooms have a very nice aesthetic. Only thing is there is a church bell that goes off about every hour so this can be a problem if your'e a light sleeper. We were half board, i would say the food was average with not many vegetarian options for us personally, and no drinks are included in your dinner not even water, you have to pay which i thought would be included. the restaurant staff, reception staff, and cleaners are generally very friendly and helpful especially jas! Everything is so close by like the bus depo only a 8 min walk where you can get to Barcelona within an hour and spend the day there! Both sides of the ***** of the beach also have a castle, although it was closed it's a lovely walk up with great views of the place. Overall we really enjoyed our 5 night stay Lloret de mar is such a little gorgeous relaxing location!

The hotel is located in a fantastic location just a few steps away from the beach. It’s very clean and attractively decorated. After booking and reading reviews I was a little concerned that it would be noisy and the toilet not private. There is barely any street noise unless you have the window open. Like most hotels you can hear people banging doors and talking on the corridor. The cleaners weren’t quiet on a morning. However, we travelled with earplugs and these did the job blocking the noise. The beds were very comfy and I had some amazing sleep. Please note Spain in a catholic county where people still attend church. Towns have church bells which ring on the hour. If this is something that bothers you then don’t stay near a church. Whilst the door to the toilet is glass, it is frosted and you can’t see it, however if you are toilet shy you can hear everything so either this hotel isn’t for you, or you ask your partner to pop some earphones on or the TV on loudly if you are toilet shy. The shower was amazing. There is a fridge in the room and a safe. Don’t leave loose change lying around the room as the cleaner thinks it’s a tip even if it’s not - they will leave a message saying thank you though. We lost around 6 euros on the first day so they didn’t get the change at the end. Breakfast is a buffet with lots and lots of choice with lots of vegetarian options, plant based milks and gluten free options. Gluten free wasn’t available everyday so we had to ask but nothing was too much trouble the staff were brilliant. There is no kettle or iron in the room but these are available if you ask. There is a small gym with a treadmill, cross trainer, 2 bikes and a multi gym. The multi gym was broken but who needs to be at the gym on holiday. The rooftop pool is lovely and gives good views of the beach. There used to be be what seems to be a coffee shop at the back of the hotel reception. This was closed it would have been nice to see it open. Check out is 12noon which is amazing as for most other hotels it’s before this time. The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. Please note that there is a tax in Spanish hotels to pay when you arrive, as with Italian Hotels and other European countries. Do your research before you go. Many travel companies don’t inform you of this. It’s not the hotels fault. No need to give them a hard time when they ask you to pay it. All in all a good experience and we would return. Not sure it’s a 4 star hotel but for the money it’s very good value
