Yarra Valley Motel

Good Comfortable stay. I am surprised with cleanliness of the rooms and shower facilities. Pleasant staff too. Will stay again.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was huge, plenty of space for young kids to play, even has a private small backyard! Very few motels with this. Great location for our needs on this trip. We expected it to be noisy being on the main road but it was not at all, very quiet for a peaceful sleep. Beds were comfortable. We needed a couple of extra things on arrival which were no trouble at all for the hosts. Well equipped full kitchen, big 6 seater dining table was great for a family of 5. Good sized nice bathroom, although the shower and grout was in need of a good spring clean with visible soap scum and parts of shower base slippery with soap scum. Carpet needs a steam clean, there were a few visible stains and the kids bare feet got very dirty quickly. Overall the unit was very clean despite these thinga. Definitely recommend for families (so much space!) and we would stay again.

The room is clean and even has a rain shower in the bathroom. The location is convenient as it is within walking distance to shops and eateries. There is a nice cosy restaurant named Hok's Cafe & Restaurant which is located near the post office. The restaurant serves really nice food and we were there for dinner every night !

….I arrived just after 2pm….my room was ready and the lady at reception was lovely. My room had all I needed….a bed to sleep in and a kettle to make a hot cuppa. The bed was so comfy and the area was quiet. I had a short but lovely stay…I will return.

Very nice room. I had the spa room with king size bed. The sheets were the order of the day as they were silky smooth and the bed was comfortable. I’ll stay again when I’m next out that way.

Recently stayed with my 16 month old and 4 year old in the 1 bedroom family apartment. The apartment was clean and a great size complete with small secure backyard. A few little ******* like the toilet brush was left in the toilet (like it was in the process of being cleaned but forgotten) and the fridge was turned off (it was lucky I noticed just before bed). Complete kitchen but There were no tea towels or oven mitts. Our key was left in a lock box so only interaction with staff was my request for a portacot. These are charged at $25 per night. The cot was delivered to our door assembled which was lovely but I had to dismantled and reassemble to get into the bedroom. Great proximity to shops and our friends so likely we will stay again sometime in the future.

Stayed 2 nights in a Spa suite. Room was spacious. King bed was comfortable. Staff at check in and check out were very pleasant and friendly. The room was clean. The curtains blocked the outside light very effectively. Would definitely stay again.

Typical Australia Motel and serves it purpose. Pub across the road to get a feed or Mcdonalds a short hop down the street. If you are catching up with family and friends in the area and just need a bed then this is the place.
