Verde Al Mare Boutique Hotel

Όμορφο, μικρό ξενοδοχείο που τα είχε όλα. Ησυχία, ωραίο φαγητό στο εστιατόριο, καθαρή πισίνα, parking και, κυρίως, εκλεπτυσμένους και πολύ εξυπηρετικούς οικοδεσπότες. Ουσιαστικά μέσα στο δάσος της Στροφυλιάς και δίπλα στην παραλία της Καλογριάς. Προσφέρεται για εξορμήσεις στο δάσος με πεζοπορία ή ποδήλατο και εξερεύνηση και άλλων πανέμορφων παραλιών, όπως το Γιανισκάρι και το Κουνουπέλι.

This is possibly the best hotel we have been as a family for long time. A caveat first: you visit Kalogria if you enjoy the sea and nature, not for nightlife or shopping. And if you are looking for peace, reasonable luxury and good food, this is your place. A boutique, family, but super professionally, run hotel. We spent 3 night in a room for 3, with two queen beds. Very modern, comfortable and clean. A nice terrace looking at the swimming pool. The swimming pool is very clean and never busy, with elegant sunbeds and umbrellas. The service at the bar is fast and attentive. As soon as you sit by the swimming pool, you are offered fresh water. But no push to order anything else. Breakfast is very good with a lot of homemade products and good coffee. They clearly prioritise quality over excessive variety. We truly enjoyed the home made bread and sweets. We had a la carte dinners there two times and were impressed by the quality of dishes they offer. Delicious and nicely presented. We had moussaka, sardines in the oven and grilled fish and they were all cooked to perfection. The hotel has a car park and it is walking distance from a nice sandy beach. We would give 6 stars if possible!

Very clean and great personalized service by the owners, the food was great, a short walk to the public beach.

Pour moi, cet hôtel n'est pas du tout un 4 étoiles comme indiqué à l hôtel meme mais bien un 3 étoiles comme indiqué sur booking. (ne soutient pas la comparaison avec un autre 4 etoiles où nous sommes allés à Nauplie). La chambre est spacieuse, avec une très grande hauteur sous plafond, mais du coup la climatisation est sous dimensionnée. Il faisait très chaud lorsque nous sommes arrivés et la climatisation a mis environ 4 heures pour que la température soit correcte. Dans tous les autres hôtels ou chambres d hôtes où nous sommes allés en Grèce durant notre voyage, la chambre avait été rafraichie avant notre arrivée. Comme les chambres ouvrent directement sur l'extérieur d'un côté (au soleil toute la matinée) possèdent de l'autre une grande baie vitrée sans volets ou store, (au soleil tout l'après midi) il faisait au moins 35 degrés dans la chambre à notre arrivée. Devant mes réclamations le patron de l'hôtel m'a répondu que c'était un hôtel 4 étoiles et que la climatisation était très performante. Hélas non, et il ne s'agit pas uniquement d'un élément de confort, car nous sommes un peu âgés... Cela dit, il a été fort aimable et a fait son possible pour satisfaire notre demande. Serveur également très aimable. Qualité du restaurant pas terrible, mais bon marché. Sinon très belle piscine et très beaux extérieurs. Un rapport qualité prix satisfaisant au final.

Unique experience, very clean, comfortable places, the pillows and mattress were excellent. The location is magical, felt like being in a national park. Fantastic breakfast and unique in taste coffee

We spent 10 nights as a family of 2 adults and two teenager girls and we had a lovely time. Room was big enough, clean and the bathroom was luxurious. Close to the beach, nice pool and very kind and attentive staff. We had half board and each dinner was well prepared and tasty. In half board, the menu is set but with a second choice if you don't fancy the first - an option that we barely used as the choices were very balanced. Breakfast was remarkable, with really spot on choices - some of them were hand made and different from what you will usually get in a standard breakfast. Beaches around are well organised and very reasonably priced - in most of them they have a minimum consumption, only in one beach bar they asked for 5 euros for the umbrella set Only minus are: the mosquitoes - you do need to come armed with relevant products to protect yourself. And also if you want to travel south toward Pirgos (Ancient Olympia and the coast), the road can be dangerous, tiring and full of cameras). Overall a very relaxing and comfortable stay.
