SsknoseyThe free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating.
There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm.
There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

Es muss daran erinnert werden, dass man beim Auswahl des Zimmers das Zimmer ohne Frühstück wählen sollte. Die sogenannte Frühstücksblockade ist ein $20-Gutschein für Sie, zum ersten Stock des Restaurants essen, aber $20 kann nicht ein gutes Frühstück essen und muss auch eine kleine Gebühr zahlen. Der Schlüssel ist: Eine Zimmer ohne Frühstück kann fast ohne frühzeitige und nicht frühzeitige Differenz reserviert werden. Die Erklärung des Hotels ist: Der frühzeitige Preis ist, dass der Kunde die Reservierung jederzeit abbrechen kann, bevor er sich aufhält, und nur Ihnen das Recht gibt, die Reservierung abzubrechen. Dies ist der einzige unerfreuliche Aufenthalt, der fünf Nächte verbrachte, um fast 6000 Yuan für dieses Frühstück zu kaufen. Die Lösung von Trip.com bietet zwar eine Tasse Wasser, aber es ist wichtig, in der Außenwelt zu gehen und zu schlafen. GGastnutzerWir haben über einen Drittanbieter ein Zimmer gebucht, das leider für die falschen Daten gebucht war. Der Drittanbieter teilte uns mit, dass er uns das Geld zurückerstatten würde, das Hotel unsere Reservierung jedoch stornieren müsse. Wir riefen sofort an, nachdem wir innerhalb einer Stunde feststellten, dass die Daten falsch waren. Die Reservierung galt für zwei Tage ab diesem Zeitpunkt. Das Hotel sagte, es würde sie nicht stornieren. Sie berechneten uns fast 600 Dollar für ein Zimmer, in dem wir nicht übernachteten, und riefen vorher an, um unsere Situation zu erklären. Sie erlaubten uns auch nicht, die Tage auf die Tage zu ändern, die wir eigentlich wollten. Obwohl das Hotel schön ist und das Personal freundlich war, selbst als es die schlechten Nachrichten überbrachte, werde ich nicht wieder bei ihnen buchen.

The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable.The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere—perfect for getting a good night's rest before my flight.
The hotel also has a well-maintained fitness center, which was an added bonus.Overall, the value for money at this Holiday Inn is excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay near O'Hare Airport. I will definitely stay here again

I was initially quite hesitant to check into this hotel after reading a number of detailed and lengthy negative reviews, especially those highlighting hidden fees and cleanliness issues. However, upon arrival with my partner, I was pleasantly surprised.
The hotel was clean and well-decorated, with a modern and cohesive style. Our check-in process was fast and efficient, and the receptionist was friendly and happy to answer all of our questions—especially about the fees mentioned on the hotel’s website.
One of the main issues people seem to bring up is the so-called “hidden” fees. In my experience, these fees are not actually hidden—they’re listed on the hotel’s official website. That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. It’s important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming.
The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly.
Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper.
Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises.
I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.

GGastnutzerI was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.
