The free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating. There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm. There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

Das Hilton Magnificent Mile hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Zimmer waren makellos sauber und der Blick auf die Stadt atemberaubend. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und sorgte dafür, dass mein Aufenthalt angenehm und komfortabel war. Die Lage ist perfekt, mit einfachem Zugang zu den Top-Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich buchte nur eine Nacht zwischen meinen Flügen zu bleiben. Der Flughafenshuttle war sehr zuverlässig. Ich wünschte, ich wüsste, dass sie mich auf Anfrage auf Terminal 5 holen würden, aber ich ging auf Terminal 2 ohne das zu wissen. Der Shuttleservice arbeitet 24 Stunden, alle 45 Minuten. Das Hotel ist in der Nähe von Fußgängern zu einer U-Bahnstation, so nahm ich eine schnelle Reise in die Stadt. Ich buchte dieses Hotel nur für seine Lage und war nicht enttäuscht. Eins ist, das Zimmer ist nicht schallfest. Der Klimaanlage war sehr laut, ich endete mit dem Ausschalten, aber der Lärm aus den Flugzeugen war auch ziemlich groß. Ich konnte hören, was das Paar nebenan die Tür in der Nacht sehr klar machte. Wenn Sie mit Kindern reisen, das ist wirklich etwas, das Sie bedenken sollten. I was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.

The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.
