KKathrinHI had a very pleasant stay at Prana Hotel in Hyunpoong. The hotel is very new, and you can immediately feel the modern and well-thought-out design throughout the entire property. Everything is clean, fresh, and maintained to a high standard.
What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff - very fluent in English! The reception team in particular was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional, making check-in and the overall stay very smooth and comfortable.
The hotel also offers very convenient parking, which is a big plus if you are traveling by car. In addition, the fitness center is well-equipped and perfect for maintaining your routine while staying there.
A nice extra is the small bar, which provides a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. You can enjoy a selection of drinks like beer and gin & tonic, along with some snacks — a simple but very appreciated touch.
Overall, Prana Hotel is an excellent choice in Hyunpoong if you are looking for a modern, comfortable stay with great service. I booked already another stay next week.

GGastnutzerA 5- minute walk from Dongdaegu KTX station and city subway station. Premium Deluxe Room is extremely spacious, and suitable for family with children. Location is good. The Shinsegae department store and a lot of restaurants are just neighborhood. The City Tour bus stop is at the Bus Terminal outside the KTX station. A very pleasant stay at Marriott Bonvoy.

CC.biI cannot fault this hostel. Easy check in, the owner speaks good English and is very helpful, the hostel itself is very well thought out with everything you might need (there's even a makeup room in the third floor with lots of mirrors and hair straighteners as well as hair dryers) the spaces are all very clean, great amenities and public spaces, and it is in an ideal location. Walking distance from the train station and near many interesting tourist spots. I would highly recommend going to a tourist information point and getting a map that has the Stamp walking tour (not available in the hostel even though they have many city maps and travel information easily accessible) collecting the stamps is very fun on its own but if you follow the tour you'll get to find a lot of hidden gems along the way that are all very near and around the Hostel, all of this for free and it only takes a couple of hours.

뚜뚜벅이는 뚜벅뚜벅In den letzten Jahren hat sich Gyo-dong zu einem Hotspot in Daegu entwickelt, da viele Geschäfte eröffnet wurden, die junge Leute mögen. Ich wusste nicht, dass es so schlimm ist, aber es waren viele Leute da, weil der Tag, an dem ich dort war, der Tag vor einem Feiertag war. Mir hat es gefallen, weil ich überfüllte Orte mag. Das Hotel lag im Zentrum von Gyo-dong, daher gab es in der Nähe viele Orte zum Trinken. Das Hotel war sauber und hatte eine angemessene Größe, also war es schön. Wie die Bewertungen sagen, war das Frühstück köstlich. Wenn ich die Chance habe, würde ich gerne wieder hier übernachten.

연연하20Ich habe zwei Nächte in einem Doppelzimmer im 5. Stock des Hauptgebäudes verbracht. Es war komfortabel, da alle Bademäntel, Haartrockner, Toilettenartikel usw. vorhanden waren!
Es war 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hyundai (Banwoldang Station, Ausgang 18) und etwa 5 bis 7 Minuten von der Cheongna Hill Station entfernt (es gibt einen Hügel).
Während unseres zweitägigen Aufenthalts wurde für die Zimmerreinigung gesorgt (Wasser, Handtücher, Toilette, Bettwäschewechsel), ein Wechsel der Bademäntel erfolgte jedoch nicht.
Das Zimmer, in dem ich wohnte, lag nicht an der Hauptstraße (mit Blick auf Bäume und Häuser), daher war es etwas stickig, als ich das Fenster öffnete, aber wenn man ein Zimmer an der Hauptstraße bekommt, dann denke ich, dass man es haben wird eine gute Aussicht, auch wenn es im 5. Stock ist!
Gepäckaufbewahrung war beim Check-in/out möglich! Ich habe vor, es bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Daegu wieder zu verwenden!

GGastnutzerDas Hotel ist altmodisch, kann aber über den Ausgang Nr. 2 des Bahnhofs Daegu/U-Bahn-Station Daegueil erreicht werden. Neben dem Hotel befindet sich auch ein modernes Kaufhaus mit toller Raumgestaltung, das sich gut für Transport und Einkaufen eignet. Der Hotelpreis spiegelt auch die Ausstattung, den Service und die Sauberkeit wider. Sofern Sie nicht an einer ausgeprägten Mysophobie leiden, ist alles akzeptabel und Sie werden den Preis als sehr angemessen und zufriedenstellend empfinden.

彡彡七木Das Hotel liegt relativ nahe am Bahnhof Seomun Market, da Daegu nicht sehr groß ist und sich gut zum Spazierengehen eignet. Der nahegelegene Bahnhof Banwoldang ist nur etwa 20 Minuten entfernt . Von der Lage her kann ich es wärmstens empfehlen. Allerdings ist das Abflusssystem des Hotelbades sehr schlecht. Das gesamte Badezimmer ist überflutet und es dauert lange, bis das Wasser zurückgeht. Ich dachte, das liegt an der großen Wassermenge, die in der Dusche verbraucht wurde Das Zähneputzen und das Waschen des Gesichts werden immer noch frustrierend sein. Ich hoffe, das Hotel kann sich verbessern.

GGastnutzerI gave 1 extra star because the man at the desk kept my bag safe when it needed to be. So he did the job well. Otherwise, zero stars will be given for the service of the old lady at the desk. She was unfriendly and insulting!!! First, she doesn't speak English, so she should use a translator to communicate with the customers. Instead, she started talking in an unfriendly way in Korean when she knew I couldn’t speak Korean.
Second, because I don't understand and she doesn't understand me, I have to ask my Korean friend to talk with her. She is still not friendly. And not try to understand for me, because I don't know what my friend and her were talking about. So she showed me that she got annoyed with my misunderstanding of her.
Third, and the most horrible of all. She was very rude the next day. I came to her desk, because I needed something. I have just shown my face and wanna say hi, with a friendly look at her. But she started to behave rudely right away before I could say hi. By saying something loudly in Korea and weirdly using both hands and looking angry. So I felt very uninvited to ask something. So I go away from her. Back to my room. I found my stuff (toothbrush and other things of mine) that I forgot in the other room. That I forgot to take with me, on the floor!!!!!! The worst there is a desk for face washing next to the door. So she could put it in there. It's so onhygien with my toothbrush without a cover put on the floor. I have never gotten that horrible service before. Even when I go the a very cheap hostel!
I was in a good mood to discover this city. And these are bad memories I got from her. She has just ruined my good mood for the holiday there. My friends suggested that I go to this Motel. Now my friends know how stupid this service I got from this lady. They won't come anymore in the future!
If the old lady doesn’t like foreigners then she shouldn't work there. So it won’t ruin someone's holiday. I hope the manager of their company does something with the service that the lady gave to the customer. I don’t complain usually. But this is unacceptable! I am planning to go regularly to Daegu because my friend lives there. This motel is in a perfect location for me. But now I would rather go to a hotel that is far away than this Motel. So you have just lost 1 regular customer because of this stupid service. I am still angry if I think about this service with my toothbrush on the floor.
