Bang in the heart of not just the charming old centre but right on the block where the street partying takes place till the early mornings of the weekends. But no noise pollution due to the small boutique hotel being on the (very high!) fourth floor of the old building that has its entrance in the courtyard off the street. We traveled with our two sons (17 and 10) and it worked but wouldn’t stay with our younger daughters there due to the unconventionality of the accommodation: No public areas or services, just straight up rooms (only six of them all in the one corridor off the reception) which are fitted in modern and marbled design. Room no 3 is spacious with a nice four poster bed, no 1 is less so but both still had room for a bidet in the all tiled bathrooms which has an LED light feature in the shower! Both also have a French balcony: from room 3 you can view the Vesuvius Mountain. Theres a price listed minibar and my husband really liked the mattress Reception is not 24h but communication was very good and personal through WhatsApp. I was looking forward to the roof terrace but it was bare and unused serving merely as a panorama lookout point. Not to worry, the most important thing for us was that the hotel was clean and had some form of luxury for the night we stayed in Napoli!

We booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house. There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price. We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa. Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apar**ents actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view) Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house) Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed. Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay. Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread. The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more.. Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us. If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home. Thank you Massimo and team for keeping our room super clean , daily when we really didn’t expect the service. Likewise appreciated the small touches of receiving disposable raincoats in case of heavy rain on our tour.

Terrible experience with this hotel. After confirming the booking and arriving are the area the owner disappears for hours, doesn’t answer texts or phone calls and doesn’t leave anybody in the property to check us in we had to plead with locals to help us get the owners phone number. In addition, when we checked us we had to deal with non English speakers (how do you rent properties internationally without being able to communicate?) and also demanded tax payment in cash even though they carried no change so we ended up paying more than needed. Property itself very nice and clean but I recommend to stay away.

Tolle Lage und wunderbares Frühstück. Wirklich sauberes Hotel und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Ich bin beeindruckt von der Sauberkeit dieses Hostels, das viel sauberer und hübscher ist als andere Hostels, in denen ich vorher übernachtet habe. Das Zimmer hat sogar ein eigenes Badezimmer und überraschenderweise auch einen kleinen Balkon, sehr ordentlich und schön dekoriert! Ich bin auch überrascht, dass es eine Gemeinschaftsküche gibt (die auch sehr sauber und gut geführt ist), in der das Frühstück serviert wird! Es war wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung, hier zu übernachten und tolle Leute aus der ganzen Welt kennenzulernen!

Hier gibt man sich viel Mühe die praktische aber schwierige Lage am Bahnhof auszugleichen. Wunderbares Frühstück, nur an der Rezeption hat man sich unflexibel gezeigt

Zu Fuß ist es einfacher, die Hauptstraße zu benutzen. Direkt neben dem Hotel Colombo, das leichter zu erkennen ist als das Schild des Hotels Casablanca (auf dem ein Logo zu sehen ist, das Sie möglicherweise nicht erkennen). Gute Frühstücksauswahl.

Die Straße, in der sich das Hotel befindet, mag unsicher erscheinen, aber ich muss sagen, dass man nachts ruhig schlafen kann, da immer jemand da ist, der den Eingang bewacht, und die Eingangstür nachts mit Schlüssel verschlossen und gepanzert ist. Insgesamt gibt es keine größeren Mängel, sondern nur kleine Mängel wie die geringe Anzahl an Handtüchern oder dem Nötigsten
