AAnonymer BenutzerStayed here ahead of a flight from Heathrow which was the second time. Modern, clean, and comfortable with good quality food and service in the bar. Made the mistake of staying at Holiday Inn nearby on the way back which was awful, spend your money here instead.

TTansiyiDie Lage ist innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt, sehr groß und das Reinigungsmittel ist sehr sauber. Der Sommer ist warm, es gibt einen Windschutz, aber es gibt keine Klimaanlage.

I recently stayed at a voco hotel and had a mixed experience. The hotel has a modern and vibrant atmosphere that I really enjoyed upon arrival. The décor is stylish, and the overall ambiance is inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome during check-in.
However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. While the room was clean and well-appointed, I found it to be smaller than I expected, which made it a bit cramped for two guests. Additionally, I encountered some minor issues with the amenities; for instance, the Wi-Fi was somewhat unreliable at times, which was frustrating during my stay.
The hotel's location was decent, with several restaurants and attractions within walking distance, but it wasn't as central as I had hoped. Overall, voco has a great concept with its focus on sustainability and unique twists, but a few tweaks could enhance the overall experience. I would consider staying again, but with slightly lower expectations.

Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und jederzeit zu Hause.
Der einzige Kommentar, den ich gerne machen möchte, ist, dass wir Zimmer 9 erhalten haben, das als zugängliches Zimmer (die wir nicht benötigten) beschrieben wurde, aber es war völlig unpassend, so zugänglich wie die Dusche (die im Bad war) wäre für einen Rollstuhlfahrer oder jemand anderes mit Schwierigkeiten zu bewegen, der nicht in die Lage gewesen wäre, in das Bad zu steigen, um es zu benutzen, völlig ungeschickt gewesen.
Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

SSofia sees the worldSehr nahe am Stadtzentrum mit Zugang zu Nahrung spät in der Nacht. 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof. Das Zimmer ist teuer und das Badezimmer ist nett. Jedoch gibt es keine Ausstattung. Ich habe noch 10 Pfund gezahlt, um früh um 12. Der Aufzug funktionierte zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht.

GGastnutzerVery good in terms of location, A nice little walk to the centre but far enough out that you don’t really get the noise of the late night drinkers (sat/friday). The room was a decent size for what we paid, nice shower and bathroom small but good for the money we paid. However, the room was really really hot. We had to sleep with both windows open, AC didn’t work at all. The TV has all the normal channels and it worked perfectly. The coffee machine area downstairs was helpful however they didnt give us any cups, put any available out for people to grab or tell us that they even had any. No tea bags or little things of milk which would have been helpful. The machine does make tea however we both werent sure how useful/good it would have been. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap stay in reading.

GGastnutzerAfter requesting a quiet room due to having our 11 month old with us we were placed directly above the function suite for a wedding and while testing the sound system the floor below are feet curated and the noise was crazy.
The moved us rooms out of the original Manor House we requested and into the furthest room possible from all amenities on offer smaller than our original room, 3rd floor and no lift with a baby in a pram and lots of luggage. The room was also unbearably hot and a crazy sensor/light in the bathroom kept our son (and them us) all night.
Not sure if recommended staying here. .

88A8It was our first time booking here, and we didn't expect much for the price. Despite bad reviews, our experience was pleasant. The reception staff were polite, and the room was fine. We could hear footsteps from upstairs, and the wall was a bit damaged, likely due to refurbishing, but it didn’t bother us. Overall, everything was good, and we might return once it's fully refurbished. Thanks!
