GGastnutzerPerfekter Ort für die Erforschung des Bades, sehr zentraler und einfach zu Fuß zum Bahnhof, Geschäfte und Attraktionen. Die Wohnung war mit allem, was wir brauchten, uns spotless sauber und fühlte sich sicher im schönen Hof. Wir verlängerten unseren Aufenthalt, wie wir es dort zu Hause fühlten. There looked to be a secure left baggage store which we may have used if we had seen it earlier. Wäre useful to have info about this in the apartment info pack.
Es gibt etwas Lärm von der Straße für Wohnung 7, teilweise von frühen Lieferungen bis Thermae Spa, das direkt gegensätzlich ist, und auch von Menschen, die in der Nacht durch die echoige Passage wandern. Wir waren daran gewöhnt, bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthalts, aber Lichtschlafler könnten eine der inneren Wohnungen bevorzugen.

LLord RoweI have stayed in 100s of Hotels. I now try to avoid the chrome & glass gin palace type. I use budget hotels for a one night stay. However this was a 5 day break to celebrate my partners 60th birthday. The Hotel was wonderful, historic building but maintained well. Lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. A lovely cooked to order breakfast and the evening meal was cooked to perfection and our waiting staff were better than most restaurants. The room was perfect, cleaned when we required and the location is perfect. There is a bus to town every 15mins which is just 3 stops away. If you are visiting Bath this is the best hotel to stay in.

GGastnutzerThe hotel is an incredible building which must take some maintenance.
We booked a double room for one night and arrived at lunchtime with the intention of sightseeing in bath for a couple of days. The hotel was happy for us to park all day both days which was great.
The check in process (after 3pm) was very easy and we had a very clean room with plenty of towels, 2 robes and slippers for the spa/pool.
The double room had a king size bed which was very comfortable.
The hotel pool was crowded and looking a little tired but was as expected. The outside heated pool was very nice and relaxing.
We didn’t have any spa treatments or use the gym but both looked well kept and the gym had good modern equipment.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant preferring to find a restaurant in bath itself.
Breakfast was a bit of a chaotic affair with several hotel staff doing various jobs with no apparent coordination. The wait for a table, then coffee was long and then we had to wait again to order breakfast. The whole process of breakfast took well over an hour which is poor. It was clear that there was no clear process as some tables were getting their cooked breakfast before us even though we were taken to our table 30 mins before them. The little waiter man with his paper pad was a bit useless.
When the ‘full English’ breakfast came it was a small plate of well cooked food but not really as described in the menu. In terms of portion size it was more like a kids breakfast. We weren’t served any toast either and had to ask for it unlike other tables who received it with their drinks order which seemed a bit weird.
The continental buffet was a bit scarce with no bowls or spoons so we had to use our fruit juice glasses for the yogurt and fruit.
The whole thing could be improved with a breakfast buffet under a hot plate if they haven’t got enough staff to serve it.

GGastnutzerCentral location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel ist im allgemeinen sehr gut. Sauber, freundliches Personal und Lage ist perfekt.
Parkplatz muss in der öffentlichen Parkplätze um die Ecke, die etwa 20 £ pro Tag beträgt, stehen.
Online sagte es das Hotel bietet halal Lebensmittel, aber wenn wir dort sind, sagten sie, sie sind nicht sicher, dass sie es tun.
Das Personal informierte uns auch, dass wir nicht in der Lage wären, am Restaurant zu essen, weil sie für eine Funktion gebucht wurden, aber wir fühlen, dass dies im Voraus per E-Mail usw. mitgeteilt worden sein sollte.
Das Hotel ist das beste in der Gegend und ist sehr klassisch und willkommen.

GGastnutzerWir hatten einen erstaunlichen Aufenthalt im The Bailbrook House Hotel. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich hilfreich. Wir essen in dem Restaurant sowohl Abende als auch das gesamte Essen war ausgezeichnet.
Wir hatten ein kleines Problem beim Frühstück, da wir recht spät kamen und einige der Früchte waren weg, aber nachdem ich gesagt hatte, dass das gepflückte Ei und Avocado auf Sourdough ich musste sterben, und war lecker, und die ganze Englisch war auch sehr gut. Alles in allem war es sehr angenehm Aufenthalt und würde sicherlich zurück, und empfehlen das Hotel an Freunde und Familie.

LLiam and JennyAttended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful.
We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest.
The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss.
One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go.
Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109.

QQingshuixichenDas Hotel ist etwas alt, aber sehr charakteristisch, die Rezeption ist ein Griechen, sehr enthusiastisch und erlebt sich anders. Das Zimmer hat keine Klimaanlage, es ist alle Heizungen, nach dem Aufenthalt geöffnet, so dass es sich gerade ein bisschen kalt fühlt, als wir ins Zimmer gingen. Wir haben ältere Menschen. Der Kellner hat einen weiteren Heizungsgerät hinzugefügt, und die Nacht ist heiß. Darüber hinaus ist das Hotel ein Leuchtkörper, das hinter dem Aufzug ist, und es gibt auch einige Treppen, wenn es ein Radschlitten gibt, ist es immer noch nicht sehr bequem.

Nicht so positiv - In dringender Notwendigkeit, die Bodenspitzen zu schaffen, das Bad außerhalb des Badezimmers waschen. Es ist nicht für arbeitsbezogene Reisende, da Sie nicht einmal ein Eisen verwenden können, ohne den gesamten Gebäude-Hauptschalter abzuschieben und wenn das geschieht, gibt es keine 24-Stunden-Aktive Rezeption. Kein Fan oder Eisen im Zimmer, so müssen Sie fragen. Kleine Computer-Monitor verwendet als Make-Switch-TV, die Sie aus einem Schrank ziehen müssen. Kein Trinkwasser im Zimmer. Wert für Geld gibt es nicht so viele bessere Orte verfügbar zu gleichen oder niedrigeren Preis.
