GGastnutzerAlthough the hotel is located a little far from the main attraction/shopping areas in Taipei, it was still really easy to get around as the train station is just right below the hotel so it was vey convenient. The gym facilities are top notch, they have many equipments. Hotel room is also spacious and clean. The breakfast variety however can be improved, the food is not as impressive and the dining area is quite small. They also do not offer room service. For the price it is very worth it, i would definitely stay in this hotel again if i return to Taipei!

NNguyen Do Nha UyenAfter coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

YYanapat W. CivilizeI had visited Jiufen, Taiwan once before, but this second trip truly exceeded expectations. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the host’s attention to detail were all absolutely outstanding.
The scenery from the accommodation was breathtaking — truly a million-dollar view! The room itself was spacious, almost like staying in an entire house. The price per person came out to just a little over 1,100 THB, but what we received was far more valuable than what we paid.
The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering us detailed travel suggestions and making us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s home. What touched us the most was that, on the day we left, the host even rode a motorbike to personally drop us off at the bus stop.
It’s the little acts of kindness like that that make a place unforgettable.

我之前曾經去過一次台灣九份，但這次的第二趟旅程真的超出期待。無論是風景、氛圍、服務，還是房東的細心程度，通通都令人驚艷。
房間的景色美得像一幅畫，簡直是百萬級的風景！房間非常寬敞，感覺就像住在一整棟房子裡。每人換算成台幣約一千一百元左右，但實際收到的體驗與照顧遠遠超值。
房東非常親切又貼心，不但詳細介紹當地景點，還讓我們感覺像是住在朋友家一樣溫暖。最讓人感動的是，離開當天他還特地騎摩托車送我們到公車站。
正是這些微小卻真誠的舉動，讓這段旅程更加難以忘懷。

ผมเคยไป Jiufen (จิ่วเฟิ่น) ไต้หวันมาแล้วรอบหนึ่ง แต่มาทริปรอบที่สองนี้ต้องบอกเลยว่า ทั้งวิว บรรยากาศ การบริการ และความใส่ใจของเจ้าของที่พัก คือสุดยอดจริง ๆ วิวจากที่พักคือหลักล้าน! ห้องพักว้างขวางมาก รู้สึกเหมือนอยู่ในบ้านทั้งหลังเลย ราคาต่อคนเมื่อเทียบเป็นเงินไทยตกประมาณ 1,100 บาทนิด ๆ เท่านั้น แต่สิ่งที่ได้รับกลับมากกว่าราคาเยอะมาก
เจ้าของที่พักน่ารัก ใส่ใจ ช่วยแนะนำสถานที่เที่ยวอย่างละเอียด ทำให้เรารู้สึกอบอุ่นเหมือนอยู่บ้านเพื่อน และตอนวันกลับ เขายังอาสา ขี่มอเตอร์ไซค์ไปส่งเราถึงป้ายรถเมล์ด้วยตัวเอง เป็นความใส่ใจเล็ก ๆ ที่น่ารักและน่าประทับใจมากจริง ๆ

GGastnutzerThe hotel location is next to the train station which makes it so convenient.. there is a lift right in front … I stayed there a year ago .. the lift was under construction but now the new lift is ready which makes it so convenient for stroller … the room is still good but the bathroom cleanliness need to improve ..
the breakfast is better than a year ago and the staff is friendly as always … their washing machine n dryer made it so easy for us too … thank you.

Internet-TV-Box bitte langweiliger Kanal 4! Sie können es auf YT oder Netflix ansehen! Das Badezimmer und die Toilette sind getrennt, Sie müssen nicht um Badezimmer und Toilette kämpfen! Am Aufzugseingang befindet sich ein Spender für eiskaltes Wasser, sodass Sie nicht riskieren müssen, dass die Wärmflasche ausgewaschen wird! Der Parkplatz ist groß, aber die Einfahrt ist schwer zu finden!

OOKTCGOWe had 3 nights at Harmony in a room with no window, but it did not feel claustrophobic at all. We did have trouble finding it due google maps playing up and we ended up at the sister hotel further up the hill. Thankfully, one of the owners ran up the hill and met us to take us to the correct one
Entry to the hotel is a pain when it pouring down with rain while trying to input your details for the QR code. But this was clearly detail in the listing descritption and previous reviews had mentioned this.
A huge help would be to to put a larger sign identifying the hotels location. See photo with circle around the name…. Very easy to miss.
During the stay, it was very quiet and extremely clean in possible the best location to old street. Literally 30 seconds away. Walk a little bit further and theres a 7-11 and family mart across the street.
The wifi is w10/10 so very good for digital nomads. I highly recommend harmony and would definitely stay again.

GGastnutzerDas Yun Hotel hat eine wunderbare Erfahrung mit meinen Kindern. Das war wahrscheinlich einer meiner entspannendsten Aufenthalte, als wir im Wasserzimmer mit dem heißen Frühling und einem großartigen Wohnzimmer verblieben.
Das Front Desk hatte eine englische Sprecher, die sich um unsere Kontrolle kümmerten und alles beschrieben, was wir im Hotel tun konnten. Dieser Ort ist sehr kindfreundlich mit einem spezialisierten Spielraum im zweiten Stock, und eine Mini-Race-Track mit hohen Ende elektrischen Autos für die Kinder zu fahren. Es gibt auch Snacks, Kunst n Handwerke, und ein Filmtheater alle auf dem Boden. Die Leute, die alle diese Orte besetzten, waren alle sehr hilfreich und professionell.
Unser Frühstück wurde rechtzeitig und so lecker geliefert. Es gab so viel Essen, 3 Leute konnten die 2 Sets nicht beenden. Kann nicht warten, um während des nächsten Urlaubs wieder zu besuchen!

AAnonymer BenutzerWir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Die Lage war günstig, um die beliebtesten Orte Taipehs schnell zu erreichen. Uns gefiel die Ruhe abseits des Großstadttrubels, aber dennoch alle Annehmlichkeiten. Wir sind keine großen Frühstücksfans, daher war es für uns ok, kein Hotelfrühstück zu bekommen. Es gibt aber Restaurants und einen Supermarkt in der Nähe, falls man etwas zu essen braucht. Auch ein Family Mart und ein 7-Eleven sind in der Nähe. Die Sauberkeit ist etwas verbesserungswürdig, da wir die Dusche im Badezimmer und die Flure (wie den Teppich) des Hotels als ziemlich schmutzig empfanden, aber das Bett und der Wohnbereich der Zimmer wurden gut gereinigt. Der Service war auch super! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

JJoannnetanIch habe mich spontan für eine Nacht im Miwo entschieden. Ich kam gegen 22 Uhr an. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr energiegeladen und ihr Service war großartig (100 Punkte für ihren Enthusiasmus!). Obwohl das Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen war, war der Preis akzeptabel. Es liegt in einer belebten Gegend. Wenn Sie nur eine Nacht bleiben möchten, können Sie dieses Hotel wählen. Der CP-Wert ist hoch 👍🏻
