A nice hotel, breakfast spread was small but tasty. We had dinner at the Cafe which was tasty. However, in Room 122 where we stayed, the aircon was creaking continuously throughout the night which affected our sleep quality. Water was not warm enough too, my child was yelping from the cold water.

Room stayed in and hotel surrounding very clean & tidy. Hotel staffs are very friendly. Only minus is hotel don’t have twin room with window. Will stay again if in Kuching

服務熱情，餐廳意外的好吃，但是臨街房間會比較吵，可以去樓下酒吧喝醉了再睡。。

The Borneo Hotel war die beste Wahl für uns. In ein paar Minuten ist man an der Waterfront, in die andere Richtung erreicht man in ca. 10 Minuten eine Mall. Unser Zimmer war renoviert, modern, hell und vor allem sehr groß und sehr sauber. Wir haben einmal abends im Hotel gegessen, es war ausgezeichnet - eine gute Mischung zwischen local food und westlichem Essen für meine Tochter. Es gibt auch eine super Bar, als wir dort waren sogar mit cooler Live Band. Die Bar ist etwas abgetrennt, daher gab es keine Lärmbelästigung. Jemand hat uns erzählt, dass The Borneo Hotel eines der ältesten Hotels der Stadt ist und familiär geführt wird. Wie schon andere schreiben, sind alle Mitarbeiter mega nett, sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Leider werde ich nicht mehr so schnell nach Borneo kommen, aber wir können dieses Hotel wirklich jedem, der Kuching besucht, uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Top!

Die Lage ist zwar nicht direkt an der Waterfront aber mit einem 10 Min Fussmarsch hat man den Fluss erreicht. Das Hotel ist von aussen u scheinbar aber innen sehr gut ausgestattet. Es sind großzügige Zimmer, es gibt köstliches Essen, sie bieten einen guten Service. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis.

Lovely hotel, great room, amazing and super kind and helpful staff. The room was clean, comfy and there was plenty of parking!! Incredible value for money!! Great for couples!! Great location, nice and easy to walk everywhere and good view from the from window onto some lovely super lush greenery to really make you feel like you’re in Borneo!! 😊😊😊

It was first time in sarawak and Borneo hotel was my first hotel i stay from 27th to 29th june 2024. Its a pleasant place to stay and walking distance to the river and tourist area. Im so glad to meet razif, jackie and amy, they are very nice people and helpful frontdesk and not to forget the room cleaner that always helpful. I would rate 5 star. Im very happy that i choose the right place. Cheers!

I had a very well stay in the Borneo Hotel Kuching during my trip to Borneo. The hotel is full on western standard but with a charming touch of the region. Everything was clean and I was missing nothing in my room. The hotel is in some meters walking distance from the waterfront and you have everything in close distance. Staff is very friendly and always remember your name and room number. Of course, small detail but shows the passion. Problems are taken seriously and going to be quick solved. I fully recommend this nice hostel. Especially because the staff!

Great location. Very clean, spacious room. Very good bathroom, large and comfortable bread and a lovely breakfast. Plus the room rates were very reasonable. The most important thing for me were the staff. Withiot exception they were all helpful, kind and interested in what I was doing in Kuching. best front desk staff I ever met. clean and very spacious modern room. We stayed twice and had rooms at the backside: no noice. Wifi might be not strong enough, but we had a Malaysian SIm, so that was no problem to us. location is good: within a short walk of river, restaurants, musea.

Highly recommend this hotel which is at a good location within walking distance to the Kuching’s city center. The rooms are clean and equipped with toiletries, hair dryer and kettle. Good shower with strong water pressure although the floor is a bit slippery. Staff are all very friendly and helpful which makes the stay very enjoyable. Delicious food and complimentary breakfast available at the cafe. Will definitely stay again.
