My second visit to this beautiful B&B with my friends for a walking weekend and it was as wonderful as before. Super helpful and friendly hosts, lovely spacious room with the most comfy beds (I was asleep the moment my head hit the pillow). I’ve been looking forward to the breakfast since the last time we were here and it was fantastic. Loved the delicious cake again after our walk and thank you for going to the effort of providing a gluten free one for one of the group so he didn’t miss out on cake. A great stay again thank you and we will try not to leave it as long before we return.

A great welcome at this fabulous accommodation, everything was perfect, our room was well appointed and clean, despite on the small side we were very comfortable. A good selection of choices for breakfast, we especially enjoyed the porridge with a selection of toppings. We were on a walking holiday, it was so thoughtful to return to our room with slices of homemade cake to go with a hot cuppa. Would recommend highly.

We cannot recommend Dorchester House enough. This is the second time we have visited as a family. Lorraine and Simon are fabulous hosts. The breakfasts are delicious. Little touches like an Easter treat for everyone make it a real home from home. The location is perfect; you can walk to the park and central Keswick in a few minutes. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend this B&B. From our warm welcome, immaculate ensuite bedroom to the delicious breakfast, our stay was faultless. An ideal location for the short walk into the centre of Keswick. We wish we could have stayed longer and we shall definitely return.

What a fantastic stay we had. Absolutely everything about this place from location to the breakfast, cleanliness, extremely friendly hosts, the list goes on of all the positives of Dorchester House. Seriously, if you stay anywhere in Keswick make it this place. It will exceed all your expectations. Amazed!

I must say, my stay at Dorchester House was quite comfy! Highly recommend room #4 and the "Loo with a View!" Simon and Lorraine were very sweet hosts, and breakfast was on time and very tasty! Will definitely be staying here again if I make it back to Keswick.

I stayed at Dorchester house with my auntie for 2 nights. Lorraine and Simon made us welcome from the second we got there,really lovely couple. They went above and beyond. The whole place is absolutely spotless, the beds are comfortable, the rooms have everything you could possibly need, as the weather was really warm a fan was provided. The breakfast was amazing, so much variety and excellent quality. There is seating to the front to enjoy some fresh air. Excellent location as you are a few minutes walk from the town centre and 10-15 minute walk to derwent water lake which is fabulous. I would 100% stay and Dorchester house again.

Friendly and helpful got up early to make us a full breakfast before our mountain hiking then fresh made cake on our return. Could not do enough for us got an upgrade to a bigger room too free of charge. The whole place is spotlessly clean and tidy the food is all fresh nice freshly made fruit salad every morning. Close to the centre about 5 min walk. Parking outside also.

Lovely and very clean property in a great location. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Yummy breakfast, friendly and fantastic service from Lorraine and Simon. If you are looking to stay in Keswick, I highly recommend Dorchester House.
