Me and my wife stayed at the property for a night. Check in was on 18th Feb'22. We selected the property as the hotel location was very good. The property is situated on a cliff on the baby beach with very good view of the ocean. There is no direct access to the ocean from the property (We were knowing this beforehand). We arrived earlier than the check in time. As the room was not ready, we had lunch at the hotel's restaurant (They said they shall clean the room by then). The food was found to be decent. After lunch, when we proceeded to the room on 2nd floor (top floor), we got the first inkling of the age of the property. The lift was the smallest I have seen in my 39 years of living. Barely 3 normal people could fit in (Might have been the best when the hotel was constructed). After arriving in the room, we found the curtains, ceiling fan, table etc to be very dusty. When we switched on the AC (not a centralized unit), we felt dust in the air. The AC vents were also very dirty. We complaint about this to the reception. They asked whether I wanted to switch to another room. From the state of affairs and the conversation I had, I came to the conclusion that the cleanliness would be similar in almost all the rooms. So we declined the offer and instructed them to clean our room properly. A cleaning staff came to check this. We showed her the state of affairs. From the conversation, I found that my assumption was correct regarding the general cleanliness of the property. Anyways, we informed that we shall be going out for a meeting and instructed her to clean the room before we return. After giving the specific instructions and showing her the dust hanging on the fan, curtains etc we were expecting the hotel to do a thorough cleaning before we returned. When we reached back, the receptionist confirmed that the room has been cleaned. But to our horror, when we entered the room it was seen that they did a shabby job of cleaning the room. Maybe they they felt they had done an excellent job as per their standards. Anyways, we could see that the curtains were all dusty and so were the fan leaves. The AC vents and table were clean. I have attached a pic of the curtains after the cleaning was done (They could have at least changed the curtains with a fresh one. That's what we had instructed. Maybe they dont have any fresh ones). We again complained to the reception and they sent another cleaning staff (He explained he is from the night shift and the earlier cleaning was by day shift people). He offered to again clean it. But we declined, as the dust would be flying around the room if they did it then. Anyways, we decided to grin and bear it as we would be spending only minimal time in the room. We wouldn't recommend anyone to take this property if you are particular about having a clean room. If that is not a bother, then enjoy and all the best...
