Red Roof Plus+ Pittsburgh South - Airport

Nice for price could have been cleaner, floor was sticky but overall cant complain for last minute and price point.

I like the proximity to the airport. I dont normally leave a review because i could careless sometimes. But i stayed here because there was going to be a snowstorm & i wanted to be closer to the airport with less hassle of commuting. First the staff at the front desk when i checked in was very helpful and accommodating. Thanks. When i checked in i notified someone that there was hair under the sheets. The person at the front said that cannot be true because he & someone else stripped the bed & made sure it was ok. Well i guess i must be blind or something. I really wasn't arguing, all i needed was a set of clean sheets to make the bed myself, thats all. Nothing major, i wasnt asking for A KIDNEY. But he said there was no linen here at the location. I have worked in housekeeping for 5 years. I know the ins and outs of housekeeping. You're telling me that not one sheet or extra washcloth was at the property. I spread the two towels from the bathroom on the bed and slept. Put a blouse on the pillow and lay my head. Then i called in the morning & asked for a late check out. The lady (a new person at the front desk) said she can give me 11:30. I went to the front so that she can see my face & be a little bit more lenient. I explained to her that i had a conference meeting starting at 11:30 until maybe 12:15ish She said no, she can only give me until 12 and if i stay pass that she will charge me. She had others coming in at 3 that need the room. Seriously. I didnt even argue

We have syayed in the hotel several times.Its a nice affordable hotel.The only thing that would have made the stay better would be a fridge and microwave in the room.Pretty sure its considered an upgrade.All things considered..the stay was fine..and ,@ $81 per night Cdn,also easy on the wallet.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Older hotel with no little amenities, but clean and comfortable.

Bed bugs!!! Woke up inching on arm , sure enough, BED BUGS!!! find another place to stay!! Small rooms,lump soft bed. Very disappointing stay...never again will i at a Red roof!!! Ughhhh!!!

the hallway was dirty, the room was clean .. the only concern was the smoke smell in the bathroom..

The tub drain was clogged and the room was not clean. We are grateful for the establishment allowing pets but much care is needed to this building.

I’m in Pittsburgh on business and I usually travel with 1-2 employees and Red Roof always makes my stay welcoming and smooth. I would always stay here!

Do yourself a favor and skip on this hotel. The room smelled like mold and cigarettes. The ac/heatin unit was so disgusting that we didn't even turn it on with fear of what would come out of the vent. The bed sheets were stained/dirty and even the walls were stained. We tried to cancelled our reservation once we say the room and try to book another hotel. There was no available hotel below 490USD a night because of the pittsburgh game so we were stuck there. Very unplaisante and definitely will be the last time booking a red roof hotel.
