Deluxe Newport Hotel - Old City

Kazim is so nice that I stayed there calmly. The location is very good and I could go to any sightseeing both on foot and by tram. It was nice to stay

The only good thing about this hotel is the location the toilet was dirty the tv was not working the bed was dirty they have zero service at all

I spent five unforgettable days at the Deluxe Hotel with my mom. The staff was incredibly friendly and caring, making us feel right at home. I would like to extend a special thanks to the hotel management and to staff members Tika and Lia ❤️❤️. The location is excellent, and the hotel itself is clean and cozy. I highly recommend this place! ❣️👌

Visited Istanbul last month and booked with a hotel online , when we arrived we were shocked because of the condition of the rooms and the hotel in general , so we left that hotel and it was night , we started asking every single hotel we found while walking and they were all either busy or so expensive, until we find this hotel , the staff was really helpful and tried hard to help by giving us a room . He did unforgettable favour for us . We honestly couldn’t sleep that night in the first hotel because of lack of cleaning and the bad smell . Deluxe Newport hotel : Location is perfect , 2 minutes from the tram station Clean , nice and tidy rooms Simple but clean Price is very reasonable comparing to the other hotels with the same specifications The staff were soooo welcomed , nice , and helpful Strongly recommend it

The hotel was about a 7 minute walk to the Hippodrome/Blue Mosque/Hagia Sofia. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. And the Wifi was about the best we have had in a hotel in Europe. The room's heater was adequate. Unfortunately, that is about all the good there is to say about the hotel. The first room we were given did not have a working outlet near the bed (there was an outlet, but it did not work). As I use a CPAP, I need a working outlet. They did move us to another room (Bigger with a 3rd bed) right away and with no fuss, which was appreciated. In the new room, the windows were wonky and hard to open and close. The cleaning staff opened them everyday when cleaning, and we had trouble closing them each day when were returned to the room. There were warm spots in parts of the floor. Not sure if it was poor in floor heating or some other electrical issue, kind of scary. The bathroom shower leaked. The shower head was broken and sprayed in all kinds of directions except where you wanted it to go. The hairdryers were not the kind to be hardwired, but were plugged in then plastered over, another thing that made us leery of the electrical standards at the hotel. And then it did not work, it blew cold air. The beds were worn and uncomfortable. The hotel breakfast looks like it is a buffet in the pictures, but is a served plate instead. They brought a big basket of bread, unlimited tea and coffee that you serve yourself and a plate with cheese, meat, olives, egg (scrambled or boiled), jam and butter. It was enough for my sister and I, but not a lot of food for most people. Perhaps you can ask for seconds, I am unsure. The hotel was cleaned daily and we had not complaints there. But smoking was happening in the building. A couple of days, I was not feeling well and I went down to the breakfast room to sit, so the staff could get in our room to clean, and there were people smoking downstairs. We felt that we could smell it up on the second floor and came home with clothes that smelled of smoke.
